Absolutely incredible! I took the whole day off from work, bought some beers and snacks, just to watch all your videos and be with you on your journey. I am Dutch as well and also have a passion for cycling. It is in our blood. Your videos have made me emotional. What you are have experienced is what I dream of and should have done when I was young. Not possible anytime soon because I am a father now and therefore have other responsibilities, but everyone who watches this and is in doubt of doing something similar: if you have the chance: just do it!
Congrats on such a glorious work...thanks for providing us with so many astonishing views...as a cyclist myself I envy you on the best sense...wishing you all health and peace from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
I'm out of words, what an achievement climbing those mountaintops, the seven sisters... And the views, also no words can describe! You are so tough... Amazing achievement! Love to follow you! Greets from Cycling Freeman in Sweden 🇸🇪
4,9k views - this video ought to have so much more. Well done, Niels! Helgelandskysten: Steep mountains, (relatively) flat roads. A fantastic place for bikepacking.
@@cyclingaroundtheplanet Yes definitely mountains of effort and time as well notwithstanding the perseverance in capturing those moments for sharing out. I did that as well and it is painstaking to get it done. Once again I appreciate and thankful to your videos as it is very useful for future trip planning.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Those mountains are epic. It was really worth getting that replacement drone. Your journey is a life changer. Very enjoyable to watch. Take care.
looking forward to seeing more videos from you I was also in norway last year on a bikepacking trip even on same bike you are using my trusty trek 920 :) best bike ever, I have a video from that trip also where i bike just from Stavanger to Kristiansand, next year im planning on going Bergen to Oslo because im in love with norway there might be some killer hills to climb but nothing beats the view once you reach that top :D
Norway is a paradise for cyclists. The views are like a fairytale and I totally understand that you want to go back there. I hope to finish the next episode in one or two weeks. I'll be reaching North Cape by the end of that video
Hi Neils I am wondering how you show gratitude to the people who offer you accommodation and food for the night in the different countries you visit,,all the best with your travels
@@cyclingaroundtheplanet Great! last year I cycled by the Sju Søstre too but never occurred to me to hike the seven peaks in one day not even one peak actually 😅, I did a lot of hiking in Lofoten though. What you did here was epic! Such an achievement!
Fantastic film, absolutely fantastic. You should be very proud climbing all those spectacular peaks in one day. What was the last mountain you climbed? I missed the name and there was no sign. There looks to be very few tourists as well which is great for you. You could do with a small separate mic with a wind sock as a few times I couldn't hear what you were saying above the wind noise. Your choice of music is also spot on. Do you continue up to the Nordkap?
The last mountain (the one with the clouds) is not part of the Seven Sisters. It is Rødøyløva mountain, which actually means "Red lion island". I will indeed continue to Nordkapp. I will probably get there by the end of the next video, so stay tuned 😉
Fantastic video! So impressed with the amount of camera angels you did. Climbing the 7 sisters in one day is tough but filming all them shots is something else! Well done! Ps: What drone do you use? The quality of the resolution is outstanding.

0:47 How do you get this shots? You’re traveling solo, right? What’s the secret/trick 😅
That's right, I'm travelling solo. The big secret is I'm carrying a drone ;-)
