@@claytontopkin7426 Thank you so much. 👍😊 And Yeah, last summer and the start of July. 😉 Snow here as well in Trondheim. Last time I was in Pitea i was about 15 years old and was at the drag race event they used to host. 🤙😊 Good fun.
@@LandRoverDrive Awesome Simon, I've watched your content like it's Netflix and learnt so much from your adventures with the Discovery. I gave mine up (TDV6 SE) before moving here from South Africa and I miss it dearly. I'll live through your adventures until I purchase a Land Rover again. Safe travels!
@@claytontopkin7426 From South Africa to Pitea, that’s got to be a massive change I bet. I’m glad you like the content and I appreciate the support. 🤗 I will keep on making them so keep the feedback coming so I can improve. 👍😊
1st off , brilliant film 2nd , lucky man fabulous family 3rd fantastic part of the world 4th what’s the midges like , Iv been told not good in the summer West coast of Scotland can be a nightmare if you get your timing wrong I plan to come over in the next year or so to drive your Atlantic way so some info would be great, I have a Freelander 2 that Iv kitted out for camping and intend to wild camp as I go . COVID permitting 👍👍👍👍
Thank you Edwin, always good to hear! :) Helgelandskysten is amazing when the weather is on our side and we were super lucky. The trip definitely sparked something in us that makes us wanting to go back there again. :) It's not that far actually and you could do the drive in one day. 460km from where I live to Mo i Rana, and about 1 hour out the lookout point. But a lot to see just driving out from Mo and west. :)
Nice images and great landscapes. Thanks for sharing with us. It seems that you had some nice weather and great sunset. I'm looking forward to being able to take a trip up north chasing the midnight sun on the way to Nordkapp.
Glad you enjoyed it Frederic! :) We were really lucky with the weather. I think it was the first time ever that I had driven north, the day before, and the temperture guage has gone up and not down. :) We had temperature up against 30*C, so we were very lucky. EP2 is going to show this event better. :) Sounds like a great trip and I need to do that my self one day.
Thank you so much for your great video. Yes, the north is simply breathtaking.I hope me and my Range Rover make it this year for midsummer...From Austria to the North... it will certainly be a special trip.
The north is something special when the weather is on your side. 👍😊 It’s definitely worth a trip up there but a long drive. 😊 Just been up there and came back today, it really is beautiful. 👌
Hehe, we had up towards 30 during the day that weekend but of course a bit colder in the evenings and during the night. But she tend to get cold so I allways pack a bit extra blankets. :) I don't think she will join on a winter trip unless I got a warm cabin lined up at the end of the road. :)
Hehe, yeah it’s definitely something northerners can relate to. 🏔😊 And thanks, It’s hard to see the resemblance your self so nice to know they are mine. 👍😊
The older you get,the more the appreciate the things you didn't really appreciate when younger... it's like me,who was always bothered about driving around the island for no reason when a teenager, and now cannot wait to rent a car and explore the old mauritius, since it's been turned into a small european island...
Awesome work man! I just got done building my overland setup in my truck! Cant wait to start making content like this! You'll have to check my channel out! Keep up the awesome work.
What do you think about the North and Helgelandskysten? 😀 It's epic right!!?
Amazing filming as always and beautiful family! Was this filmed last summer, because here in Pitea Sweden we're knee deep in snow with -15deg celsius?
