I’ve only just found your channel and I’m finding it very interesting/helpful. I’ve only been playing 4 months but I really struggle with a cupped wrist? No matter what I do with takeaway it’s still cupped at the top. Love the videos
On a recent video Adam spoke about starting the backswing with your arms while your back is still facing the target and what a huge difference that made on my swing. Hands down the best online instructor in the biz.
I rarely comment on UA-cam Videos but had to comment on this one. This had changed my ball striking so much in the last 3 days. I now feel like I have a check point instead of rushing my down swing. Has helped me eliminate the weak pushes.
A lot of magical words said in the video, one that hits home with me is "never let the hands trial your body", when that happens I lose any awareness of where the club face is, good stuff!
This tip is actually huge. I’ve played golf for almost 20 years and I used to get the left shoulder under the chin but one day it just stopped and I noticed it after some time but I just thought I was getting older and losing some of my flexibility. Not the case, I was complacent in my practice. Now I can actually hit draws again consistently and with no effort, amazing advice.
Adam for the year i have just watched your content. The simplicity of the swing you teach has changed my game. Its taken the year to make the changes need. I was 10hcp with a very bad back aftet every round. Im now an 8 with 0 pain, my swing is shorter, more connected, arms more out in front, keeping width and so much more room. Im looking forward to the next year. Keep up the good work mate 👍
Aside from all of the great info in all of these youtube videos/sessions, I always love to soak up all of the positive wordings and phrases Adam uses when working with his students. Its really helpful to hear and I try to ingrain this mindset in my own playing and range sessions, even remotely here far away. Thanks!
Eric, I get my left shoulder under my chin in the backswing. But I tend to over swing and my left arm bends causing me to lose my swing radius. Is there a swing key or feel that I should be incorporating to help with keeping my left arm straighter?
No doubt this will seam a bit of a silly question, I have very large shoulders and find it difficult to get a full turn. Any advice on a feel that I could look at instead of left shoulder under or past the chin?
Don’t turn your hips too early. Left hip shouldn’t move to the right too much. Keep back leg flexed. Keep your left palm near your wrist secured to the club (don’t let a gap appear between grip and left palm.)
I am 75 and I can........but, it will depend on how flexible you are. I have a very beat up body and I am very surprised that I am still flexible enough to get a good turn.
May I ask a bit of advice adam? With the hip bump, and turn with the spine angle, it makes me feel as if my backswing turns behind me and to the right. Like I'm turning towards my right heel. Then the through swing feels like I'm turning out in front of me and to the left.. like I'm turning towards my left toe. Makes me feel a really in to out swing path.. Is this correct?
Feel isn’t always real. Just film and check the shaft with your right forearm. Maybe use alignment stick channel. Check your shoulder alignment at setup
Any questions for me? Let me know!
Great session. Does the wrist need to hinge any more at the top than it is at the set point? Thx
Half swing and shoulder turn… I struggle a lot with those 2 things…

I tend to lift up my head some in the backswing. What would be the problem for this?
What begins the downswing?
I no longer take lessons. He is the most simple instructor in the world and IMO the best. Hope to make it out for a lesson one day
Hope to see you soon!

One of the best swings I've seen

I 100% agree. Adam is a pillar of positivity!
Needed this, I always have no cue to when to stop the turn or if I even turned enough with the body. Helps a ton!!!
Your videos are the closest thing I have to a coach.
Great advice, simple and easy to follow. Nice
Playing some fairly decent Golf at the moment thanks to Porzak. Another great lesson
Keep it going!! Love hearing the improvements!

Does this feel apply to chip/pitch shots? Sorry if this is a dumb question

bros swing looks so simple and repeatable. no unnecessary movements
Man I want to fly out to you and get an in person lesson.
So Damn Good
What is considered a full shoulder turn with a senior golfer like me I am 63
Shit yeah.I love these explanations you can put into play. Great video
How do you stop having a long backswing?

I'm 80 should I be able to get shoulder under chin in backswing?
