I just can’t get enough of these adorable and beautiful pink flowers. You can stop at the point I add in those beautiful metallics~ I couldn’t resist

I will be 82 and just took up learning watercolors. Of course I have learned a lot in the last few months watching these wonderful videos. I try to practice something everyday and find it so enjoyable and peaceful even tho I would not show anyone they still look very elementary. You are a very good teacher and you rush it along. Thanks for your demo on using the Filbert brush to make this fabulous flowers. I do love the extra touch using the Metallic paint to make these flowers sparkle!

Princeton Select series has these blue handles. They are less expensive than some of their other lines but are still good brushes. I have several Select brushes.

@DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy I know how you feel about stats, etc. Getting all in the head...it can take away the joy of creativity. Just about have that baby quilt gift ready to put into the frame to quilt. I am hoping my major dental work tomorrow won't cause too much of a delay...tic-tock, and the clock is moving at a rapid pace...lol. I hope to complete it on schedule, and then I can get back to some painting. I feel like I will be starting back at the beginning with regards to my artwork, but I think it will be okay... I see how fast you paint, and I wonder if I will ever get that confident in watercolor. It is so different from what I am used to having done in the past,and as hard as I try, I still tend to be detailed in everything that I do. Artistically and otherwise. I guess that's just part of who I am? Anyway, you are doing great 👍

@@marybarton5651 Hi Mary. You will, Ive been painting my entire life, so much of this is just an automatic habit. That muscle memory you develop after painting for so many years. That is why you are a quilter. That takes a lot detail and close focused work. I could never do it. I need more patience for little things and detailed things. It's a gift I don't have! We all have things we do well and gifts :-) Im so happy though you stick with watercolors, and I bet your paintings are better than you think they are :-) Im so happy to have you here with me!
I painted along with you this time and it turned out so beautiful. The opera rose with the cad yellow is extremely pretty.

The Dugato set is quite reasonable . I actually am a Princeton fan, this Dugato which I have been pleasantly surprised by its snappiness and ability to keep a nice point and fine line
The brush I believe came from the blooms pack . I have one also.
