Loose watercolor flower painting so fun, anyone can do 'em! Tutorial with my Grandaughter.

- Today my Grandaughter Addy to came to paint with me, and we painted these washy, wet on wet flowers. I hope you give them a try.
We didn’t practice before, by the way. I wanted you to see how well she did and everyone can do with guidance. Her painting at the end (I need to learn how to create a split screen!)
Addy used the Mei Liang 36 color paint set (link below, under SUPPLIES), and I used WN paints, and for an extra touch, these metallics by Art Philosophy. I love the shininess and unique colors of the Shimmering Lights set. (See link under SUPPLIES). We used them as highlights.
In my early years as a student, (and I still consider myself a student!), I would have loved it if my teacher made available to me her lesson reference materials. @@cindychurch335 I will see if I can find my video on how to hold your brush etc. it can make a really big difference in your brushstrokes the farther down you hold your brush near the Ferrell which is the base of the brush you have a lot more control as well as the angle. :)
The more straight up and down (vertical) you hold your brush the easier it is to make a thin line and get those nice details in the more of an angle you can get thicker strokes Happy painting! Just a sidenote, if you go to my Facebook page, you can ask a lot of questions there too, and even post your pictures I’d love to see them!

I took several classes in college, and never liked being told you cant do this, or have to do that, I paint now how it is most fun for me :-) I will pass on your words to Addy, it will make her smile.
