What's up Chris where can I get one of those clips for your diad that goes to the belt I need one of those. That's a lot better than the pouch we use at ups. Please let me know.
Must be nice to have easy routes. I work in a center where 75% of the routes are inner city and they go out with 140-180 stops on average for an average of 9.5 hours. During peak they’re all 220+ and about 12 hour days
After I went into feeders I saw a driver who transferred back to his original country center (his route got absorbed by the city so he had to come along with it). I couldn't figure out why he'd lose all his bidding seniority and he took me to the metro log.... Heaviest route had 150 pieces, then I understood.
I’ve been sitting on a split for the past 2 months doing 220+ stops 330pcs on the daily. Last week: T265, W284, TH274, F266, S170. Got $236 in incentives. It has about 40 stops of business, including hospitals and then 190 DR stops.

Love the left hand turn... blocks both ends of truck from door
I use this method most days 👍🏻👍🏻
What’s the process of becoming a ups delivery driver ?
You usually have to start working in the UPS warehouse first
Do you guys have a gps system that lets you know what package to deliver first ?
The Diad scanner has your route and also is your GPS
Hey Chris! What size YETI is that? My 26oz is a little bit too small for the cup holder
36 oz rambler.
UPS Chris Thanks! It fits perfect. Be safe out there brother 🙌🏻
Yetis are a ripoff, just buy a cheaper cooler save some money.
Thanks for the links!
You have a clear channel from the bulkhead partition door to the back door? That's not right the van should have no air gaps from all the parcels in every little space.
Question about the clip for the diad because I’m not liking the pouch either, how do you charge it with the clip on or get mapnav? Or do you just not dock it ??
When out of water on route how do you resupple yourself with water?
But how do You find time for BJJ seriously?with the crazy hours...
Can u do a video explaining the good and bad things about how you're truck gets loaded at the module. Also why do you need certain packages Rear door Right,RDL,FDR,FdL?
RDL, RDR are designated spots for bulk stops. Easier than grabbing 10+ packages from below the shelf and having single package stops on the shelf.
@@chris707man okay thank you.
I have a class a license and would love to work for ups where do I apply is it hard to get in
Cant wait to be a driver been little over a year part time working erregs
Need your rechargeable vibrator, just hot wire into the dash don’t let the mechanics know about the hot wire they may not like it !
Haha
You can't hide stuff from their Mechanics they will find it
What's up Chris where can I get one of those clips for your diad that goes to the belt I need one of those. That's a lot better than the pouch we use at ups. Please let me know.
Also you are not supposed to disconnect your Ignition key from the key fob ring.
Do they supply the Dyad clip or pouch ?
Pouches now.
Where can I get the clip? My center doesn't have them as far I know. Tired of the pouch getting hung up on the seatbelt
Sadly they are discontinued due to the new Orion system.
Must be nice to have easy routes. I work in a center where 75% of the routes are inner city and they go out with 140-180 stops on average for an average of 9.5 hours. During peak they’re all 220+ and about 12 hour days
Sub_Second_ Life I did 390 last peak and that’s only 1 big apartment
After I went into feeders I saw a driver who transferred back to his original country center (his route got absorbed by the city so he had to come along with it). I couldn't figure out why he'd lose all his bidding seniority and he took me to the metro log.... Heaviest route had 150 pieces, then I understood.
I’ve been sitting on a split for the past 2 months doing 220+ stops 330pcs on the daily. Last week: T265, W284, TH274, F266, S170. Got $236 in incentives. It has about 40 stops of business, including hospitals and then 190 DR stops.
@@brandonspringer8967 how do i get on as a driver? Ive never had a driving job i work a office job but im trying to become a UPS driver.
@@XTen1000DaysX so different facilities do it differently. I know some you have to put in time in the warehouse to get the chance for a driver position. Right now I got a shot at a driver position simply by applying. Check the UPS website for the nearest facility to you. Covid is making it hard for them to hire. Now might be your chance.
I am going to work soon as a driver helper. I am concern about the use of the DIAD. I have not work for UPS before. Does the driver helper use another DIAD?
Yes, driver helper does use the board, you should be going out with your own board. Driver should show you how to use it, I have a couple videos that show you certain things in the board.
Thank you very much for your fast response and the valuable information!
You'll probably just get a cell phone
My day is always bad because the truck is loaded by someone with a blindfold. The worse part is I get blamed by management because I have to back track to stops because I can’t find the package.
That's the worst. You should take a half hour to organize your truck by pal order. It will make a huge difference
Does your UPS truck have a navigator
Yes, in some centers. Mine has the GapS/Navigation feature
When it works.
How much do you get paid now and what did u start at and how long have you been working there !?
Should I work 224 or reg temp which one good brother? I had 2 years experience driving fedex express. Please give me advice more info thanks alot.
Where you get that diad holder clip?
Still in my 30 day packet, the only problem I have is how to organize my packages. Pre loader always throws boxes all over the place and it kills me when I have to stop and re organize everything!!
Just finish UPS integrad waiting to see when I start training on a actual route
Hey Chris great videos! Do you know if the Semi trucks are automatic? Maybe some. Or not. Would be great if you could let me know.
Most the newer models are.
I've been driving for 30 years and i gotta say, I've never seen a package car driver with that much time... you must have a rural route. What like 10 stops and 100 miles?
Lou Dozer241 75-95 stops. 120+ miles
Chris Edwards that's IT!!!?... I'll do 130- 150 stops 400 to 500 pieces and pick up 1, 100+ pieces a day. 4 hours incentive bonus. 😎
How about you give us your unit number. I will check Telematics and see what you do. You want to unhook it? thats fine. The GPS is ALWAYS LIVE.
ertz mcgrackitz 🤣🤣🤣🤣, you know he's management.
Who is management? I sure as fuck am not.
Funny how us package delivery guys ride around with valuable packages and dont carry weapons for protection
Delivery drivers have been hijacked in south side of Chicago. Though, I live in a much safer suburb around Schaumburg. People only go down there for drugs, so I've heard.
@money Mig MM right look what happened in miami
UPS has had drivers robbed and murdered
The company provides you with a plastic sign that says no guns allowed, wave that around. And you have that magic yellow Harry Potter sweating your butt off plastic bag vest to wear, if it can prevent a semi from hitting you surely it can stop anything else.
Not supposed to have anything but valid hazmat slips of packages that are still on the truck in that hazmat pouch in the front or back of the truck
Does the clip work with the cradle
New subscriber here don't know if you still make these video's still.
Setup myself with a tool more then once but that why I have my on business card
A real ups dork, MacGyver
Can you do a video on how your packages are organized and your route is determined for the day?
Packages are organized however the loader sees fit, as for route determination, that's up to Orion, I hear he's a great guy!!! Xp
Wow! I've done it for more than 3 decade's. Haven't done it correctly once. Is someone whispering in your ear what to do next? Spooky
Hi Barry
Do they give you that Diaad clipper holder
Yes, but I'm told the clips are discontinued
I take my drive test Monday
Hey, the truck was manual or automatic?
Great video! I just hope that AI won't take your job. Remember, those people in the upper management only care about profits and their XMas bonus. So sad 😮
You had me at jiu jitsu
Facts! Lol
I put my DIAD in my left pocket. 😂😂
What’s a DIAD? I work at fedex. We dont get those 😂
@@VueloAzulCrema Delivery Information Acquisition Device. It's the same type of computer that you carry.

That's some good stuff 😊
I'm a package handler. In Southern California.

Thought only brown or white shirts ?

Yes because they hire from the the inside
