I bought a trampoline after listening to one of Bill's pod casts and researching his understanding about the health benefit to our Lymph System, other benefits are also derived from "rebounding" thank you for that tip Bill !!
This was very entertaining and a great conversation. I laughed a lot with these guys. I have had mostly disdain for Bill Maher over the years, but this makes me warm to him (slightly). And to Gene as well. I've always been a bigger fan of the band than the individuals who make it up, though I generally do like much of what Gene has had to say, though he has also often been very adept at putting his foot in his mouth. But here he seems to have developed more self-awareness and realization about his own failings, both past and present, which always makes a person more endearing than projecting their own greatness to the world. Which has been Gene's modus operandi for most of his public life.
the chairs are the same, I think Gene has a big pillow of some kind on his, look closely, maybe he's uncomfortable slouched down low and has a hard time getting up from that low point, I also hate low seating, Gene has toured ,wearing 40 lbs of costume for several decades. Just sayin' no big deal. He's 73 now.
@@gaylachiriaco8667 you are correct. Bill is incredibly smart, what is extensive knowledge and history is a bigger turn on than his looks. He’s funny and not lazy. But boy is he stunted emotionally he’s about as mature as a 15-year-old.
I had developed a less than favorable opinion of Gene Simmons over the years. Loved this episode. I have a new found favorable view of the man. We need good strong minded men at this time in history.
yep right now we have a President in beginning stages of Dementia who never made correct decisions even before his condition now. Like Obama said,''Joe can always find a way to F..k things up''.
I feel the same. I loved him in Kiss, hated him as a celebrity but here and there the UA-cam bits keep popping up and show that he is quite the multifaceted person. Interviews with him are always interesting and the video where he puts his kiss make-up on his daughter is adorable.
Dr. Ruth came to the college I went to on some sort of a speaking tour. Because I thought she was funny I went to see her. Worth every penny of the free admission that I paid (I am sure her appearance fee was jammed into my tuition somehow). That lady was hilarious. Better than most stand-up comedians that I have seen.
Gene Simmons is the epitome of world-class concentration on success and personal care. My first concert was KISS on August 24, 1977, at the Forum, and I am still enthralled with the band today. Wonderful "Rock 'n' Roll Over" cell phone case!
For a party band, KISS is such an influential band for the young men and teens who dreamed of being rock stars, even if the KISS sound and idea wasn't where they ended up. Much love and Gene's reality show was one of the watchable ones for me that really didn't need affected drama to keep me entertained, thanks for giving us a window into your world Mr. Simmons.
Yeah, I tried to stick with his reality show, until his Jeep broke down in the California or Nevada desert and it was none other than Carrot Top to the rescue!🥕🤦🏾
Bill and Gene are like the odd couple. Gene is totally straight faced through most of the interviews, no laughter at all, while Bill is having a blast.
You can tell for all his bravado, Gene has benefited from being part of a band and a family. Having kids and a wife, and also a bandmate to bicker with like Paul Stanley has probably kept him grounded. Maher on the other hand is an absolute weapon, and could probably do with someone in his life telling him he’s a plonker.
Gene has grown so much over the years. He was so repulsive when I was younger, and now he’s a wise, respectable human who’s honest with his emotions. Mad respect for any human who can progress into something better over their lives.
Excellent discussion. Both men are so smart. Gene, your humility in renouncing your former self with respect to how you treated your wife before you were married, inspires humility and raises its noble value. And it shows respect for women. I love your acceptance of humanity in all our flaws and differences, political or otherwise. You are a true American, and an inspiration to all.
Gene rules. He is such a force of nature and a hell of a guy. Is he perfect, of course not, nobody is. But he’s definitely one of my heroes. P.S. very smart move embracing UA-cam, Bill, this is where the party is now.
His giant ego and large list of female conquests aside, Gene Simmons is probably the most stable rock star out there. (Paul Stanley is probably up there too.) I love the fact that Gene's giant ego was able to keep Bill in check and have a normal conversation.

Agree - especially about the curtain in the voting booth.
Yes, I agree. I was pleasantly surprised at some of his opinions, beliefs and points
People will now realize how articulate and intelligent Gene is. It's not a fluke how successful he is with Kiss and his business interests.
7 mins in and Gene Simmons is funnier and quicker than most professional comedians that come on the show. lol
Yea, he should've been a Comedian, he's a fucking Joke.🔥🚮
This is like watching 2 family members argue at the table. Kind of wholesome.
The height difference in the chairs is absolutely hilarious
Bill the Midget
the chairs are the same, I think Gene has a big pillow of some kind on his, look closely, maybe he's uncomfortable slouched down low and has a hard time getting up from that low point, I also hate low seating, Gene has toured ,wearing 40 lbs of costume for several decades. Just sayin' no big deal. He's 73 now.
Bill is only 5'8"..... Gene is 6'2"....
Industrial light and magic
@@labadoor2607 I want to make it very clear that I'm aware that the difference in height is not because of the actual chairs 😂😭
Any time Gene started talking about something emotional, I got nervous thinking Bill Maher could break out into laughter at any second.
that would be too much emotion
That's because Bill is emotionally immature and has never grown up.
@@gaylachiriaco8667 Gene has dirty ass std infested panties stapled to his wall. Stfu.
@@gaylachiriaco8667 you are correct. Bill is incredibly smart, what is extensive knowledge and history is a bigger turn on than his looks. He’s funny and not lazy. But boy is he stunted emotionally he’s about as mature as a 15-year-old.
Gene is so ridiculously naïve about women for having slept with 5000 of them.
Don't care what people say ... i love Gene. A national treasure!!
Unpopular opinion. Gene's solo album is the best KISS album.
"Yes, Joe Biden " 🤣 God, do I love Chaim Witz 😍
Gene, you kill me, "I wear more makeup and high heels than all your girl friends combined." Lol
You're the best
I had developed a less than favorable opinion of Gene Simmons over the years. Loved this episode. I have a new found favorable view of the man. We need good strong minded men at this time in history.
He's been through a lot.
Experience either changes you or kills you.
yep right now we have a President in beginning stages of Dementia who never made correct decisions even before his condition now. Like Obama said,''Joe can always find a way to F..k things up''.
I still have an unfavorable opinion of Simmons.
I feel the same. I loved him in Kiss, hated him as a celebrity but here and there the UA-cam bits keep popping up and show that he is quite the multifaceted person. Interviews with him are always interesting and the video where he puts his kiss make-up on his daughter is adorable.
Agreed! Gene has evolved into a self aware wise and diplomatic man.
Bill seemed overmatched here by Gene.
Gene Simmons is the epitome of world-class concentration on success and personal care. My first concert was KISS on August 24, 1977, at the Forum, and I am still enthralled with the band today. Wonderful "Rock 'n' Roll Over" cell phone case!
Damn Elvis died the week before! Lol
This is one of the most entertaining interviews I've ever seen
Very cool chat. Love these two guys. So cool to listen to them. Please do part 2.
Wonderful interview! I had a great time listening and watching it.
OMG Gene is sharp. Bill had his hands full in this one. 🤣
I have always loved Gene ! I love how Shannon calls him Genie❤
I wonder how many folks dressed up for Halloween as a member of KISS.
@@pzj2017 twice, actually 3 times
@@pzj2017 in 1990 :) as Gene
Great interview by Bill Maher....Gene seems to be very compassionate about his past and present life evolution.
Bill and Gene are like the odd couple. Gene is totally straight faced through most of the interviews, no laughter at all, while Bill is having a blast.
Gene - sober , articulate , clearheaded
Bill- stoned AF and dopey , slurry , all over the place .
Bill is always having a blast . he's always Inebriated drunk, intoxicated.
This podcast is the best ever. It’s off the rails and I love it.
If you think this is off the rails then let me introduce you to JRE fight companions.. that's a drug infused, alcohol poisoned train run amok 😏
Maybe also the fact that he’s 73! That might contribute to his maturation too
Two smart, authentic dudes engage in an interesting chat. Thanks!
Freaking Brilliant. I love Gene Simmons' Cool approach to any topic. The Best Club Random ever!
@ClubRandomPodcasts
Salami , Salami........BALONEY
Gene has grown so much over the years. He was so repulsive when I was younger, and now he’s a wise, respectable human who’s honest with his emotions. Mad respect for any human who can progress into something better over their lives.
Except he doesn't give a damn about your rights.
Lol
Excellent discussion. Both men are so smart.
Gene, your humility in renouncing your former self with respect to how you treated your wife before you were married, inspires humility and raises its noble value. And it shows respect for women.
I love your acceptance of humanity in all our flaws and differences, political or otherwise.
You are a true American, and an inspiration to all.
Amen
Another great podcast. Thank you Bill and Gene. Different thoughts is what makes this country great. Group think is what divides us.
Finally! Bill got Andre the giant on the show.
😂
I can’t stop laughing at this comment😆
Would’ve been funny if Bill pulled out peanuts and said “anybody want a peanut?”
Gene Simmons is such a honest sincere human being. Glad i saw this interview.
Gene Simmons Honest and sincere ? Now that's funny🤣🤣🤣
Another great conversation among friends.
Gene rules. He is such a force of nature and a hell of a guy. Is he perfect, of course not, nobody is. But he’s definitely one of my heroes. P.S. very smart move embracing UA-cam, Bill, this is where the party is now.
Gene is the best when it comes to interviewing. Great job and Bill laughed all the way through
His giant ego and large list of female conquests aside, Gene Simmons is probably the most stable rock star out there. (Paul Stanley is probably up there too.) I love the fact that Gene's giant ego was able to keep Bill in check and have a normal conversation.
I would add Ted Nugent to that list.
@@mojodojo5533 Ted has a different ego than Gene and he’s angrier. Not a good mix.
Thanks Bill. Another fascinating interview.
This interview has so many unintentionally funny moments, that I could not stop laughing.
Gene is one funny dude, great timing
I didn't know Gene Simmons was such a delight.
This banter between two awesome guys. Loving this 😊
wow i really like Gene Simmons. What a real person
Dude , whoever put that mountain spring in background is genius! Fantastic water!
