Not even close! In the comics, red kryptonite had totally random effects on Superman (or any other Kryptonians). I distinctly remember it gave him a lizard’s head in one comic, that’s unpredictable it was. 😂 Blue k removes their powers for as long as they are in contact with it (both in the comics and the show).
Me to, I hope they make it a real cataclysmic showdown, nothing like the lame Doomsday battle in Smallville. I've been waiting for years for a live action Superman movie with super powered brawls brought up to modern standards. It's going to be epic.
