Great video. I have the same truck, and have always wanted to upgrade. That looks amazing. Did you upgrade the speakers too? Mine came with 6 speakers, but I'm thinking just replacing and using the 6x9 door speakers is plenty.

How did u connect that plug and play adapter and do u have a four way amp I can’t get mine to work I got that same set up but as soon as I connect the battery the amp starts making a thumping like sound threw the speakers and I hav to disconnect battery
Have you checked your grounds and make sure nothing is making a short

@@riproach2809 It was blowing my radio fuse. Tried with 3 new fuses, blew them all. I returned the screen and gave up.

My vehicle antitheft turns on when i try to connect the new unit and the teuck wont start. Did you have to deal with that?

@rolandoolivarez3244 I did a bit more fiddling with the wiring this weekend. Unplug the black radio plug that goes into the very top module. And uplung the steering wheel control wire and the other single green lead. I'm not sure what the problem is but those two wires cause it to trip out.

Should turn on and off when you start or turn off your vehicle
@@brayandelvalle8035I’m sure I followed your steps right 🤔 but mine won’t shut off when the ignition turns off it stays on until I hold the power button. But even then it’s not fully shut down.

It’ goes behind the glove box it’s 1st plug, u can buy gm51 or u can splice into with an av cable,.

So that factory box with the 3 big plugs gets completely removed? I have this same radio but the instructions it came with are horrible. So I been trying to bridge it between that and the head unit and wondering why this thing won't work

I hooked up the harness that came with the unit into my 2017 Silverado ltz with Bose system,. The unit powers on but getting NO sound in any speakers, even my amp for my two 12in subs,. Nothing no sound at all,..

I ordered fr eBay,.& the eBay motors guidelines thing ,. U put in all vehicle info, it does a search and will tell u if compatible or not,. That selection was compatible,. I even typed in 2017 Silverado ltz w/Bose system factory amp compatible,. That was the item in search results,.. so I bought it,.
I hear only 1 out of 3 or 4 works properly, and was told those on eBay reason so cheap was due to them not passing inspection at some point,. Idk though,. I’m lost tryna figure out this thing,..

@@brayandelvalle8035 now I’m being told I need to purchase PAC’s AP4-GM61 amp pro module,. So the unit will work with the Bose system that came with my truck,. Something to do with factory amp,. Personally I’d rather do factory amp bypass,. I hav 8000watt amp to power my 2 subs 12in. Idk I getting a head ache tryna figure all the technical stuff,. Wasn’t this difficult when I did same install in my Tahoe but it’s 2006,. I had to buy additional interface$70 to get that to work properly,. This 2017 LTZ being stubborn😅

Has anyone got an early 2014 Silverado with the 2 wire green power harness? I didn’t know mine would be so difficult being one of the first 3rd gen’s. I can’t figure out what I need to do. Everything works except getting audio. I’ve checked all connections and they’re all good. Only thing that I’m thinking is there is something not being connected where the newer ones would connect on the green harness.
Anyone that can help, is much appreciated!
