great top10. I would definitely add Lemmings, Monkey Island (or Indiana Jones and the last crusade) , Prince of Persia, KickOff, Speedball2 and RickDangerous.....damn top10 is too short ;-)
I used to play all of those, but I think the one I spent most of my time on was Gauntlet II. I used to play it with my mum and we'd get so far. Great memories.
Very nice top 10, thank you for sharing! Almost all the classic favorites are there (or in the honorable mentions at least), except maybe one important omission from my point of view: IK+ which is the best fighter on the system hands down. Either way this is your list and it's a damn good one!
I still love playing Xenon 2 from time to time. Although the last level (#4 iirc) is just mayhem and very difficult. I don't know if I ever managed to finish it. But I've played it hundreds of times. The game was made by The Bitmap Brothers. Another game by these devs that I played to death was Gods. There have been many versions of the game, even a relatively recent remake of it, but the Atari ST version remains the best to date. When you defeated the final boss, a host of extra life icons dropped with the message "Do you dare to try again? This time, your task will be harder!". And it was, but you had all those extra lives and I'd sometimes manage to finish it again. Damn, I'm going to play Gods again real soon. I believe the remake even has an option to switch to the classic Gods game if you don't like the new look and so on. In both games, you collected currency and could then buy upgrades for your ship or your character, which meant making choices you sometimes regretted and then did a better job next time. Okay, sorry, [end nostalgia trip] 😄 Thanks for the video!
Both the Amiga and the ST had their strengths and weaknesses, I love them both. While the Amiga was a better machine for 2D arcade-style games, the ST was still a formidable gaming platform. Dungeon Master did for it what Defender of the Crown did for rhe Amiga, and it had the best version of the Ark of Captain Blood of any system.

Cool, I used to play all of those in my early teens except Gauntlet II and Chaos Engine
I still have several Atari STs and some boxed games
Supersprint all day long!
Nice - happy memories!
For me add Carrier Command, Formula 1 Grand Prix, Captain Blood, Monkey Island, Rick Dangerous and Future Wars.
The only difference I could ever find between the ST and the other 16bit platforms was the sound. On some games it sounds like an 8 bit machine.
It's the same Soundchip like in the Atari 8-Bit-Computers and the Intellivision.
The games that stick out for my ST days were mig 29, speed ball 2 and kick off 😂 getting on a bit now lol
Loved my ST. Great games. Sound I loved. Stunt car my fav out of the top 10
Nice list :-) I would have inserted Vroom as well, such a good racing game!
GOOD OLD TOS Thsnks 😃
Some awesome games on the St , love that a few are being ported to the Jaguar. So I can enjoy them once again
Nice work! Great choices!
Into The Vertical Blank Thanks 😊

Great video as allways wizzgamer
mark Myers thank you your support is always appreciated
stunt car racer went hard too, very addictive!
Yikes cannon fodder lol. Superb video 👍🏻
In some ways I preferred my ST to my A500. Loved Carrier Command, Elite and The Sentinel. Just a shame it didn't have hardware chips for graphics.

Nice top 10, you were pretty good at Rainbow islands, I always sucked at the later boss battles...
Highland Retro Gamer Thanks Rainbow Islands is one of my favourite games so I've had plenty of practice 😊
Great list my friend 👊🕹️👾🎮👊
Canal Win Thanks 😊
What was a better gaming computer the atari st or the commodore amiga vote now!
oids was just incredible at the time and it had a level editor!
For me Dungeon Master, M1 Tank Platoon and Frontier Elite 2 and for the later 2 games i paid 200 quid for a t28 accelerator board for my STE
that was incredible

Chaos Engine looks great! Sounds like a Tiger LCD Game!
Suuuuuuuuuper Srpiiiiiiiiiiint !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sonic the hedgehog, first level i think
Der Sound auf dem ST war schon bescheiden!
