Very observant! They typically don't reply to design flaws. There shouldn't be any wood used only metals, composites and other materials impervious to mold.
These are like my dream trailer but they cost so much but I do believe they are worth it. I've never owned a camper trailer before but would love to have one of these.
I was going for the black series hq but after your reviews of this, USA USA USA all the way! Need more water, wifi booster and router, cameras all around too. What else? Thanx!
Yes! We agree! It is good to have great support from an good American Company. It changes your experience in everyway! We already have a mod that doubles your water and can easily add the other things you are talking about. :)
With the change to hollow aluminum studs, is there any advantage to using blow in insulation to fill those air spaces in the tube? We don't purposely camp in below freezing temperatures, but have been caught in them many times. It's good to have a trailer that will not only keep you comfortable when it gets into the single digits at night, but that you most importantly don't have to worry about freeze damage to the plumbing. I love these types of videos. They're much more interesting than talking about how pretty the decor is!
We don’t think that would be necessary. We got the inside to 37 degrees and the outside will go way below freezing and zero. Are trying to get to negative -100 by blowing in more insulation or going to outter space? 🥶🥶😀
With 35 years of advanced material reinforcement new product development, manufacturing engineering experience, the correct term for the colorization of the fiberglass is “pigmented throughout the material” VS overspray known as paint or stickers commonly called decals or wrap.
@@ROAOffRoad I'm chomping on the bit for whatever that future build might be. Bruder is finally coming out with a new, larger caravan called the EXP 8. They made some good upgrades, but they're still missing the mark on interior layout for us fulltime couples. I want to buy ROA's "Bruder Killer"! :-)
In previous videos the wall studs were shown as C or H shaped, keeping the dead air space inside the stud to a minimum. In this video they are described as tubes, and appear to be tubes when shown during construction. Just wondering why they would change? I watch all the ROA videos as I anxiously await retirement. I plan to buy an Explore to full time in just as soon as it’s feasible.

Mold will start here. I am looking at time stamp 13:31, where the wood touches the stud/top plate and buts up against the outer sheeting.

Would love to see a gladiator towing review with the trailer
Can it? Not sure if it can.
Gladiator can tow it, but its on the heavy end. Its not recommended.

How has their production quality held up in all the horrible construction issues in the RV industry?!?!?! Thanx!

@@ROAOffRoad You know me. Anything you ever do, my first question will always be, "Is there anything we can do that's even better?" :-)

Any OTHER colors??? Tan, dark gray??? Not ALL the colors of the spectrum but something other than that green?!?!?!
Now we need a slightly bigger trailer design with more liveable space and less compromises. Oh, and lighter interior colors.
We might have what you looking for coming up in the future.

@@ROAOffRoad Does one have to call in to find out what you're hinting at?! This a beautiful-devious teaser!

Yes. You are correct. There has been supply issues with all the shut downs over the last year and they switched to these studs.
@Michal Starosta no. It is 85 mil. Not mm
Good morning sir family members friends
You need to make a video

The price for these are robbery, nomatter what you use for quality parts it's just not worth 85k you can buy a cabin for that price 😉
I think you need to work on your metric understanding, "30mm is super thin, like a credit card"??.
Lol! You must not know your metrics very well. He said mil not mm? They are not the same. You can google if you need to. 😄
