I love this trailer, but watching this video makes me love it even more. Thanks for making it fun and engaging while still having loads of information about the trailer.
Please never stop selling these. Ive been saving up for this for years. With a recession coming up, I hope you guys fare well so I can buy one on the other side of this mess.
Shane, you may be one of the smartest, real, simple success, all the best to you and everyone at ROA, you change & effect peoples lives, never forgetting the honesty which is a very rare practice in the RV industry!!!! Thank you!!!!
Shane, what a difference in video production from your earlier days. Jordon has stepped to the plate on filming and editing. Great vid and great info. Safe travels to you and the fam.
That was an interesting way to do the tour. Is that how the tours are going to be in the future from now on, or is there going to be both a full walkthrough like this and one like before?
To answer your questions in the title and compare a Bruder EXP-8, Black Series HQ19, and Xplore X22 Bruder has the best suspension of the three Xplore has the best overall construction to handle extreme weather and the highest CCC of the three Black Series has the best interior layout of the three We would love to be in an Xplore right now, except the layout (especially the east/west bed) isn't quite right for fulltime living for two adults and two retriever dogs. The Xplore doesn't have the best suspension in the world, but it is more than enough to go where we would need to go.
This x22 is checking all the boxes Nice Build You can see the quality thanks for sharing. For me, this is the perfect size you can roll down the road and not feel like you are pulling a massive load. Personally, that's what I'm looking for serious all-purpose Road tripps I wonder how many people see the Xplore and say I'm going to buy myself one of them? I know I will its almost like the Hellcat There's nothing like it! Cheers great video "
I just read a post on Facebook from a lady who's brand new xr rear door had gaps in it that she could see air through. I wonder how much water would enter her trailer ripped through puddles like this video
beautiful rig and clearly built really well. Just wondering if this and some of the others this size are just too big and heavy to go very far off road. I got stuck towing a much smaller trailer on a beach recently and I can’t imagine having this behemoth behind me. It’s a luxurious and amazing trailer for sure. Just seems too damn big and heavy for it’s intended purpose.
It will for sure limit where you can go in the sand and some really tight trails. But if you see our other videos you'd be surprised where we can take them. It really helps to have a powerful and capable tow rig. Power Wagon has been great for the X22
This would not really be comparable or in the same category as an ember. The insulation on the X22 is capable of -40F. Perimeter frame design. Nothing hangs below the frame, no water line etc. fiberglass is crane noble way thicker than anything in the industry. I could go on and on.. this is a much higher quality rig. Ember certainly looks better than most trailers built in Indiana, but not in the same category as Xplore. 😁
I really like many of the features of this trailer. It is the closest to my dream off-road trailer. Would love to be able to also bring along some of my toys: ATV, Motorcycle, Kayak. How could this be accomplished with this trailer?
Thanks so much! There is toy hauler version called the XR22 and you can bring all the toys with that unit. Here is a link to it. ua-cam.com/video/bYpv8C0XKUU/v-deo.html
The new 2023 Xplores can be optioned to 1080 amps of lithium. Similar to 11 battle born batteries. The X22 that you are looking at can be optioned for around 500amps
It depends on how you are going to use a trailer. If you are going to fulltime in it for 10+ years, then you may want to pay twice as much for a trailer that is more functional and durable than the usual $45,000 trailer. If you are an occasional weekender or limited longer trip camper, then a $45,000 camper would do the trick. You could even buy two $45,000 campers over a long period of time for what a well equipped Xplore will cost. We've experienced broken systems that are very inconvenient if a trailer is your home. For us, it's affordable because it's our house, we maintain it constantly, and we don't like to spend much time broken down on the side of the road. For most people, the Indiana mass produced trailers are more than enough for their happiness. The Ember trailers will sell like hotcakes because they fill a niche of price/quality that is below what ROA sells, but is good enough for the bulk of the RV market who want to dabble on some dirt roads now and then.
I want the best but I wish the best had a realistic price tag. I also want to enjoy my free time not stress over it we actually have an older work and play that does the trick built like a brick you now what. But if I had the unlimited funds I would have xplore build me a custom build I love there construction
@@drumwish2010 That's funny. We did ask them for a custom build. Not even a complicated one. They told they are so overwhelmed just trying to keep the line going through all the supply chain disruptions that they couldn't even consider it.
I know all trailers have issues even 90k ones. Troll FB groups on Xplore s. Folks are having so many issues. Most of which are easy fixes. Some are not. Folks should be prepared to spend 5 to 10 k on upgrades on a brand new 2022 Xplore
The toilet is a tough one for us. It's really nice, for many reasons, to not have to deal with a black tank, especially if you camp off grid all or most of the time. On the other hand, I don't really like any of the non-black tank alternatives out there. Composting seems strange, using expensive bags that go to a landfill seems wasteful and expensive, and burning it seems way overboard and propane intensive.
Yikes! "Airing DOWN" your high ground clearance trailer tires? You air down tires for better traction at your drive wheels, dude. This trailer does not have transaxles, plus, your tow truck does not have beadlocks so you can air down the actual drive wheels that benefit from 5psi muddding. The main concept of the Xplore X22 is the high ground clearance to defeat ruts and rocks. Airing down is antithetical to that concept. City campers that watch UA-cams too much risk their survival!
More "Adventure Tours" please and less "sales talk"... That is really really old and boring as I can Read a data sheet script as well as you can. We want to "See it in action" and "See it break"...You can't put that in "data sheets".
Excited to see this!
I love this trailer, but watching this video makes me love it even more. Thanks for making it fun and engaging while still having loads of information about the trailer.
Thanks so much! We tried to make it fun and informative. 😀
Great tour! I wish all the trailer tours out there could be this entertaining. I still can’t believe the roof is that strong.
Wow… that was probably my favorite off-road trailer video yet. Super informative and fun to watch. Nice job
Thanks! We had a good time with this one
I was thinking the exact same thing.
I was laughing my head off most of the video. That roof is incredible

ok guys, I was sold at the outdoor gym feature 😂😂😂 very beautiful video 📸📸 amazing rig.l Love your reviews

Great job on the cinema! Even the tumble weed is looking good!

Gotta be one of the best looking overland rigs out there!
Yes. It is pretty cool. I don’t love the green but other than that I love it.
