I was fortunate enough, all those years ago, to be present at this performance. It was, simply, magnificent! A privilege to see a legend on the top of his form.
A Master at work. UA-cam having moved on, it would be great to see this Uploaded again in one complete file, including the "Vicar's" bare bum at the end! RIP Frankie, gone but never forgotten.
'camp as all get out', I love that! I was struggling to remember the 'all get out' when I was trying to think of a line in dinnerladies. Thanks for another reference point in my memory!
i told this joke to my woman on our first date about the man in the bath in a storm. that was the 14th of January 1993. two wonderful kids later and a roller coaster adventure. i have spaghetti bolognese cooked for her lunch today the 23rd of march 2023. i never knew where i heard that joke from i was kinda nervous and it came to mind, thank you Frankie
@gmaccruyff55 Ah - my fault - this is not QUITE the end - but I had to put THAT ELSEWHERE, as it showed Frankie's BUM! (UA-cam are very po-faced about nudity). I put the link to it at the bottom of my info panel on part one - but I'll duplicate it on the info panel to THIS part. Come back here and you'll find it!

I'll know when I'm in heaven when I hear Lurcio's prologue...what an entertainer..
Titter ye not!
total one off....if you lived to see him in his pomp you were of the lucky ones ... his generation were brilliant .... sorely missed
A true legend.
He was in his 70s at this point but he still had the audience in the palm of his hand.
The audience are my age group - I was twenty back then. No doubt he was touching up the prologue!
glorious, messed up, camp as all get out and utterly adorable/scary. Whats not to love? Thank you for this and bless him

Youd think the smug students could have stood up at the end.?
This video is labeled part 4 of 5 but there's no part 5 ?
Part 5?
OK. Until the last 3 minutes. Why did he have to dust off that old chestnut? Seems like they ran out of steam
MANologues: That might be an "old chestnut"...but just right for a young audience !!!
