My mate had "Mud Rock" LP this was the first track, the rest were rock and roll covers. What an album. We were young, we discovered '50's rock and roll in the mid '70's.
Way back in time, I was in the Royal Navy and they were playing Portsmouth just before they hit the big time. Great show band and Les Gray was awesome. My fav is the Secrets that you Keep and then this one.
This was a unique rock n roll song... For the era and us timeless. On my top 10 all time.... Whenever I'm walking mountains, volcanoes, running along beach early morning.... And im weary I play it.... If I'm in a cambodian bar on a sunday looking over ocean... I play it!! Thanks man for a great song

Many many years ago viz magazine had a cartoon with two pictures. In the first picture it showed a bloke driving a car approaching a bend, and there was a sign saying “caution, mud on the road”. In the second picture, when he rounds the bend, there are blokes in the middle of the road with guitars (and speech bubbles), singing “that’s neat that’s neat, I really love your tiger feet”
I suspect the drummer is happy not to have to do the dances....this is gold, believe me, my audio installation went hard with MUD to blow that plastic popmusic away

Saw them twice in 1973, they actually had stickers in the shape of a triangular road sign with those words on.
