Thank you for this! I just bought a different brand that does have a manual but i cannot for the life of me visualize the instructions. It actually looks easier than i thought!
Great video but I have a very important question. Does a 2021 jeep JL 2 Door come with the DRL harness you mentioned? Also, do I have to enable DRL feature through something like ECRI? I really want this light setup but confused about your DRL harness comment and not sure if these will work on my 2 Door JL that does not have DRL enabled atm. Thank you in advance for any help/advice, love Extreme Terrain.
@@michaelreeder15 You’d always be safe using a 12ga-14ga copper stranded wire for them. You could probably get away with a thinner wire, since both are LEDs and the amperage is fairly low. But, you’re not saving money, and 12/14 are more popular and easier to source. FYI - The blue colored connector tells you its a 12ga-14ga wire. Thinner is red. Thicker is yellow.
I don't have DRL on my Jeep. Is there an alternate location you would recommend that you can wire into to give power to the DRL halo when the engine is running?

What are the wheels/tires on this Jeep?
Question, should the DRLs come on as soon as the jeep turns on when the lights are in the Auto position?

What type of wire are you using for the DRL and turning signal?

Is there a way to wire these so that the DRL is amber AND the turn signal is also amber? Or via jscan or something like that?
My 2022 JL doesn’t have auto lights or DRL. Will these DRL’s still work?
Yes! If you wire them to the fender light’s power wire the headlight DRL will come on when they are on! Hope this helps!
@@extremeterrain is there a way to wire them to a power source that turn them on with ignition? Rather than turning on the parking lights.
@@extremeterrain does this mean they will be yellow, when i use the turn signal ?😊
With this method you dont need to run a wire to the fuze box?
You can run it to the fuse box if you don't want to directly tap into the wires, but using this method you won't have to run the additional line.

What size is that wiring?
Does it matter the size of wire ?
You would want to use the same gauge wire with this install.
