  • Fastest Developing City In Europe? Cluj Napoca Romania 🇷🇴
I saw a video about this city on the Romanian presenter. I got an insight of this city myself and I was amazed. I've seen great progress on almost every street in the Romanian city of Cluj Napoca. Both in building infrastructure and all buildings. All this took place in 2009-2021. I have prepared some of these images for today's video!

I have to say that Cluj is a wonderful city. Everything is picturesque. It's beautifully located between mountains. Cluj old town is very gorgeous. Buildings date since the medical times. Its a great city! Although it's a little bit expensive but since the majority of its citizens work in IT wages are also high.

That's no really big deal for the Romanian level! Bucharest on long term will be by far the most developed in Romania and according to some British sites by 2050 the richest in Europe. It would be better even to be better than the Polish capital. Certainly the 2 Russian big towns don't look like top Romanian now, which look very European. Russia is far. Anyway, Bucharest was the best town in the region at interwar, but it was wrecked by Communists. There was a huge gap between Bucharest and Cluj Napoca in 1990. Bucharest has developed more, the thing with Cluj is that they had no gap to close. Anyway, in Timisoara is exactly like Cluj at suburbs. Bucharest the same. Most of the Europeans don't know in Romania, Romanians live at suburbs in new hoods, and also the skyscrapers in Romania are less central than in Germany. Romania is one of the few European countries with suburbs like the United States, they all move there, and now even the blocks are full. There is a huge request in Romania and in some months they build some times more than the EU average. It certainly doesn't happen anywhere in the region, not in Hungary or Bulgaria.

More modern than Bucharest is like I told you because there was a gap between them in 1990. In 1930 Bucharest was way over Cluj, but then the Commies came, wars, earthquakes etc. Bucharest was starving in 1990, now it surpassed Budapest, Helsinki and Copenhagen in terms of GDP. Budapest is similar as population. CALEA VICTORIEI in the Romanian capital and you will change your mind, they have improved more massively, notice Bucharest's GDP is bigger than of Serbia, supports 25% of country's total GDP... In Bucharest everything is better, good salaries and smaller cost of living than in West!

@@razius Most of them yes, some are upper-middle and the management is in the upper class already. The middle class is quite strong in Cluj (over 40% of the population) and is mostly formed of IT, doctors and some other medical system employees, economists/bankers, engineers, entrepreneurs, university and most school personnel, employees in the juridical system, administration/state-own companies employees, and even most of the construction workers (even if they don't meet the education criteria, they meet the money earning criteria), a good part of the people working in service companies, etc. Basically, any family that earns between around 1.000 and 2.500 euros net per month is middle class in Cluj (that is equivalent to around 2.000-5.000 reported to average EU power of purchase and corresponds to the international definitions of the Middle Class). The upper-middle-class in Romania is somewhere between 2.500-4.000 euros net per family/month. Less than 500 euros per family is where the most vulnerable families are, and 500-1000 per family is the working class.
The Middle-class is always well represented by definition, especially in developed cities. The widely accepted definition is "those earning between 66-75% and 150-200%" of the national average.

@@florin-mihailuca8124 don’t call me a lier please! You have no industry , no infrastructure, no army , you are working for us. We have no reason to hate you. Again most of the women over there are over injected , old buildings left by Hungarians or Austrians are in poor shape , New buildings are yellow, pink without any architecture, the old regime buildings are in poor shape too,the food you receive from other countries is not first class food, politicians are setting high fines and your minimum income I think is $400 and so on. If you can’t face the truth,it’s not my problem but don’t blame the people for telling the truth.. .
