I bought this Xbox arcade stick as my first ever stick about 2 months ago. Have been very satisfied with the purchase. Really enjoying booting up fightcade on my pc and playing mvc2 cvs2 and 3rd strike
You're the reason i bought a stick long ago!!! A May flash you recommended. Also the sticks are great for beat em ups, metal slug, even pokemon and Diablo 4 lol Edit: nvm you showed metal slug!

Excellent video review JoyStickNY! - I have had this controller for the xbox series for about 8 months now and it is very good. It is compact, but very sturdy and stable. Does NOT feel cheap and lightweight. The only issue I had with it were the buttons being a little too loud. BUT - you can swap them out easily for Sanwa quiet buttons, which is what I did. Regarding button swapping/modding - the screws are tightened in with some type of adhesive which made it pretty difficult to open for the first time. Otherwise - def a great arcade stick. Everything JoyStickNY said holds up.
Top quality video as always, friend. I actually held off on buying this hoping you would make a video on it. I'm glad I waited. I most definitely will be watching your mod video.
The quick history rundown of arcade sticks on Xbox as well as the step by step rundown of every feature/button + live demo for the stick is really appreciated! My Tekken-wired brain, however, immediately wonders if it's possible to assign d/f or d/b to a single button. From the looks of the software, that's not possible, at least not without using more than 1 button. That would be cheap! Either way, this might be a good stick to keep around as a 2P stick on PC.
At this point, your vidios are like ASMR content. Start a video and just listen while I'm driving or working around the house, lol (currently getting ready for work, so I'll comment on the video later 😂)

Very nice entry-level stick, especially for Xbox. This is a very minor gripe, but it would have been cool if some of the buttons were colored like the ABXY buttons back in the OG Xbox/360 days. Though if modding the buttons is as simple as the Switch version, that's still cool.
Do it, save your thumbs and enjoy the new medium. I switched off of life long pad last week and my hands feel great and my inputs are better. Give it a shot
@@markoholic_ Dont get me wrong stick is the most fun input method IMO but it is objectively worse than pad. If you are seeking improvement I would go leverless, but if you just want to have fun go stick for sure
Thank you for the comparison! I have 2 Windows arcade emulation machines and I was trying to see if the new "Xbox version" was any better for my use-case. I'd really love to get the black one, but I can't justify the price increase ($80 vs $120). But would be possible either to use the PC or the Xbox software to set that specific programmable button as a turbo button?
Been waiting on a review for this from you cause you are straight forward and helpful. Thanks for the info on this stick. Do you have any plans on reviewing leverless like the haute 42 in the future. I have been seeing a lot of UA-camrs pick it up as a budget entry level. Ik this channel is mostly about arcade sticks so this may be a stupid question.
never a stupid question, i havent have plan to do reviews for leverless yet, i used to use keyboards alot back in the emu days, and i kinda have a feeling of leverless and motions, i know i prob switch to leverless because i think stick works for all games, where as leverless can be better at some, but under perform in others, possibly in the future i might go over leverless, right now i am very behind and prob want to catch up on more stick videos for now , appreciate you ♥🙏
I Love 1942 and Raiden and those kind of shooters. Those kinds of games help develop pattern recognition in fighting games. Great review btw, but that stick needs to be wider, stick and button are too close to the edges. Raiden
Just bought this today. A few questions if anyone can answer. What exactly does the switch at 5:20 change/do? What should I have that switch on when playing on PC? How do we get that application you showed for button mapping? This is my first time using an arcade stick, which I primarily hope to use for fighting games. I like it so far, but it will take some getting used to. Thanks for the review btw, it helped me pull the trigger on this purchase.

I have just one question please.
Is there any way to set that programable button as a turbo function?? For me the only downside was the fact that there is no dedicsted turbo button, in which I was hopping for you show that it has but now thanks to your video is confirmed that there isn't.
Ik this channel is mostly about arcade sticks so this may be a stupid question.
never a stupid question, i havent have plan to do reviews for leverless yet, i used to use keyboards alot back in the emu days, and i kinda have a feeling of leverless and motions, i know i prob switch to leverless because i think stick works for all games, where as leverless can be better at some, but under perform in others, possibly in the future i might go over leverless, right now i am very behind and prob want to catch up on more stick videos for now , appreciate you ♥🙏
@@JoystickNY thanks for the reply
Your thoughts and review on a Nacon Daija anytime soon ? Thanks and love your work!
Thank you ♥🙏 let me check when they get a sale , sticks are expensie
Great video, dude!
Thank you ♥🙏
I Love 1942 and Raiden and those kind of shooters.
Those kinds of games help develop pattern recognition in fighting games.
Great review btw, but that stick needs to be wider, stick and button are too close to the edges.
Raiden
Hope those games, i kinda like the dimension of this size, it be nice if they can make a mid range version that is longer 🙏❤️
This black version is a lot more appealing than the original Nintendo version.
i actually like the nintendo 1 the most, blk next, then white , hehe
You’re so cool I wish I had as much skill as you
your too kind, I am just a average guy who love games 🙏♥
