I mean, I appreciate the interview. And a lot of a good content, but no questions about the Wave3/Gambler's Chest? Delivery date? Atnas, Gambler, encounter monster details/progress? More Wave 3 info on this might be the number one thing on everyone's mind's right now.
Poots opened up the topic of exploring the design space of "where" you would be fighting instead of "who" or "how" and there were no follow follow-up questions about other Wave 4 expansions that promised to use the environment in interesting ways like the Nightmare Ram with an actual dungeon area, or the Pariah with the inverted showdown, or event he Silver City where the Kickstarter promised that if unlocked, you could choose to venture down into the Silver City instead of the normal hunt.
Poots opened up the topic of the next dungeon crawl game where he gave the example of a hero fighting 4 white lions and how it would be cool, but they would all need AI decks. No follow-up questions on how this sounds very similar to the Red Witches with 3 monsters being controlled by a single AI deck. And then going a little deeper from there with even more questions about that particular showdown.
I mean, so many questions that need answering. So many upcoming expansions begging for more details to be filled out. And so many questions left unanswered. Why don't I go to GenCon and do my own interview? That would be a very fair question to ask me.
Production questions and hints at lore are not bad questions. But a lot of the history of how Kingdom Death happened is already out there on the internet.
My comments are not a criticism on you or your channel. Just so many unanswered questions and frustrated that there is so little opportunity to ask them.

I talked to Adam briefly at the con after the shopping spree. My main question was GC delivery dates. Adam said they are expecting to release it by this time next year (so next GenCon basically)

@Jonathan A of course there are questions that went unanswered here.
It was established early on that the interviewer doesnt understand how to formulate questions.

No problem. We're editing two gameplay videos and a booth walkthrough so expect those over the next couple days. Thanks for watching it means a lot!

This is the best Poots interview I've seen. Very nicely done. Thanks for this.

Awesome interview. I had a chance to speak with him a little bit as well and it was a great experience. Adams work ethic and passion for his vision is an inspiration for me. Thanks for capturing this discussion for us.

This is a painful interview to watch as Justin is rehashing years of the same old questions (is he even asking questions?). Nothing relevant is talked about and if it was not for adam carrying the interview this would have been even more awkward.

Still my favorite game. I love and respect the effort put into crafting it. That said, my enthusiasm has been slowly crushed by the endlessly frustrating webstore experiences and lack of updates on the Kickstarter. I hope to keep enjoying this world for years to come and I really fear that the less than ideal business/PR side of things will continue to wear away at that passion.

NeedfulThings I totally understand. With the store stuff just remember that the resin releases are essentially prototypes and they’ll be plastic eventually. It may be years with all the Kickstarter stuff but it will happen. As for the Kickstarter, they were totally unprepared for the demand. The factory is doing their very best and the delays are simply due to Poots making sure when you have it in hand, it will be the best product he can make. That’s not much to go on I know but I hope that helps you a little

My largest complaint to the online store is by the time I get my email stating a limited release I jump right over and see how it’s already cleared out. If they make a release there needs to be enough to allow everyone within 24hrs to do a order and fill only that and then close the ordering down. That’s my only negative, that being said I’ve invested atleast 2k in this game and a true fan time for wave 3 annoying but understand give us the best and ok. But limited runs for all I know is a lot of bots destroying the store and just getting flipped in ebay which blows.

This is an awful interview. Your first question even had him confused on what you are asking.

Lucas Skoff Yeah the start was a bit rocky but the rest went fine. Please feel free to go to Gencon and film a better interview! Adam is very accepting of interviews as long as you’re polite

Compare this interview to TechRaptor's interview (2017) and it's like an hour of wasted time - nothing new, same old questions over and over again. Hope they will learn from the feedback they've received and will make a better interview in 2019. It's like a single official opportunity to receive answers from Adam per year and wasting it to ask about china partners, manufacturing process, how they've started a business... just meh. All that you can watch in GenCon interviews in 2015, 2016, but not something you expect to see in 2019. All the best to the interviewer and hope for a good interview this year.

Don't get me wrong - I'm happy that I had an opportunity to watch some Poots talking... but too many people do interviews online without any knowledge on how to do it. Crazy! Interviewing someone is not about nodding and adding to "nice" to whatever they say or repeating whatever they say. You need to challenge them, dig, give follow up questions and so on! Read a book about interviews:)

It came out a bit harsh. I really didn't mean no offence, just wanted to give some advice. Try this book maybe: www.amazon.com/Art-Interview-Lessons-Master-Craft/dp/1400050715 It will up your game :)
