I would love to see you make food with shirataki
I can't use oyster, mushroom or fish sauce.... is there an alternative?
@@marig9236 😮😮
Steaming the noodles will maintain the firmness, just dunk in water after steamed and then stir fry… Alternatively, you can buy pre-steamed egg noodles at some markets…
Lol seriously, why would Claire ever eat out when there's an amazing chef at home that is cooking all the time! Looks so good and easy. thanks for sharing~
😍😍😍
Because the chef deserves time off just like anyone else. She can cook, too.
@@judyjohnson9610 they split the work. Claire does the dishes!
@@teaganshines4800 She sure does, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind a change.
this comment is on every video
Hey, Panda employee here. Yeah, our policy recipe sucks, so much so that when I tweaked the recipe, my manager tried it, and said to just make it that way unless corporate comes in. 😂
Haa
😂😂
I love to hear Claire talk about the dish. She would be fun to travel with!
This recipe is amazing! You've empowered me to try to cook more Asian dishes! They've all been amazing! Thank you for the delicious recipes!
The ad reads are so seamless and they don’t break the pacing of the videos. Great ad reads. Cant wait to try this recipe out!
This completely changed the final result of my delicious mushroom chow Mein I just made today! crunchy veggies, beautifully coated noodles and delicious gluten free Chinese dish that I must say is the tastiest I ever had and ever made!
Ive tried that cheap noodles and it had an aftertaste. We call that Pancit where im at. I love your Chapchae or the black bean paste noodle which i never get tired of eating. Korean cuisine changed my life and life is not complete without Kimchi everyday. Take care always stay safe. c",}
So happy to hear that!! Thanks! 😍
♥️ I lived in the Philippines 🇵🇭 for 4 years, I am Mexican. My best friend is Korean! Always wanted to visit Korea with her! ♥️ But I now live in Texas. 🤭 Please continue making these great recipes!!
😍😍😍😍😍
I finally tried this recipe and it was SO delicious!! Thank you Aaron and Claire for the amazing recipe!! 🥰🥰
This is the level of detail and enthusiasm I want when I cook for someone else!!!!
I like how you break down the recipes, very easy to understand and beautiful video
I've been binging this channel to learn all the recipes, I want to start cooking like this to introduce my kids to food from other countries and this channel makes it so fun to learn it!
Thank you Aaron & Claire. I made this recipe and it is delicious. The cabbage definitely is a good addition - it bulks it up and adds a nice flavor with no calories.
I also used angel hair pasta instead of Chinese noodles and it worked perfectly, as you said it would.
Thanks again!
This looks almost identical to the stuff I get from my favorite Asian restaurant (it used to be just Chinese but starting about 10 years ago they started doing pho, pad Thai, and other stuff too) and I’ve always been happy to get it from them because they’re a wonderful family, but now I live over 40 miles away and it’s just not practical to go that far lately so thank you for this wonderful recipe.
Awesome! Hope it can bring that good memories to you~! 😍
your instructions are so easy to follow. thanks for sharing this recipe 😁
I am SO going to make this soon! I love having all the veggies in it. 😊
Still waiting for Aaron's Japanese curry from scratch ( I refuse to follow anyone else's recipe because Aaron's recipe is always foolproof😌 you can't convince me otherwise)
oh my goshh i will definitely try it!1!1!
and pray for me so i dont burn my kitchen down 🙏🏻
Don't worry about it!! It's gonna be alright! 😎
Not a wine fan but thrilled you got such a great sponsor that people will use!
Yay! What a wonderful team! You cook and she cleans (enjoys your cooking too 🤤). Thank you for sharing that part of the video.
I will be cooking this dish tonight. You two are adorable! 🤙🏽
I made this yesterday and it was a hit with the family. Your recipe is perfect. ❤️👍🏼
Claire has the cutest laugh to go along with her chewing! I appreciate all of her insights and the joy she brings to the meal. Thanks!
Love this recipe!
Added a bit of chilli oil in the sauce mix and it really made it awesome
I’m super happy for your new house and also the sponsorship. You guys deserve it!
Anyway, still hoping to see you eat outside again in the restaurant.

Made this so many times ..it's amazing. Made it w shrimp tonight and my husband said it's the best chow me in he's ever had. Let me tell you we live in LA and he works on Hollywood and eats at THE HIGHEST END restaurants all the time. So this is a big deal! Love all your recipes Aaron! Love the cookbook too ❤❤❤❤❤
Looking forward to making this! Love this channel! So happy to have discovered it. The humor tied in with great cooking is a win for me. Thanks for producing these episodes. The two of you have given me confidence in my cooking!
I agree! Humour and cooking is an underrated combo! hahaha
@@Maplecook Hahah It truly is! Keeps me interested and takes the pressure off.
@@hollyw. I (sometimes) get criticized for the way I cook, because I'm a little TOO silly...
I really like using those dried egg noodles. They also come in a shrimp flavour which is really great for soup noodles with wontons. Also totally agree about using spaghetti as an option for noodle stir fries - works really well!
Looks amazing.. this recipe I must do .. thank you 🙏
That looked so good, especially the texture of the veggies. You have mad knife skills.
Great recipe. And not filled with impossible ingredients. She looks so happy and satisfied with your dish. I will try and cook this meal too.
Going to make this for dinner tonight! My boyfriend and I are going on vacation Sunday and I'm so stressed with so much to do. Besides all the chopping (hehe) this will come together in no time. Thanks Aaron!
I need this in my rumbly tummy wow that looks amazing
Awesome instructions! I love chowmein but mine never turns out quite right. Now I know how to cut the veggies properly and dry the noodles! Can’t wait to try it.
Made it tonight and everyone LOVED it!
Thank you 😊
Claire is a very lucky woman. She eats very well with her own personal chef at home.
Hello Aaron, have you ever talked about your favorite cooking pots and pans ? The one your using today look fabulous

Love your content. We've made several of your dishes, and all were excellent. I wish we got the quality of vegetables you have, but we make do. Really happy for you that you have sponsors now. You deserve that.
I made this yesterday! It was scrumdiddlyumpteous! This recipe is a keeper.
I will try this, and I am sure it will taste great. Thanks for the video.
Hi. I'm from Philippines and Asian food is always the best! 😁
We are on our way home in our RV (camper) and I needed to use up some food from the freezer so I turned to you for inspiration. I had frozen salmon, broccoli, red bell pepper, and onion. Also, frozen vermicelli. Well, the salmon and noodles got a but mushy but the veggies were crisp. I made the sauce to your recipe (even MSG) and it was DELICIOUS!! I bought your cookbook and had it sent home. We will be there tomorrow and I plan on making EVERYTHING in your cookbook! We love your channel. Please say hello to Claire and yummmm. So good. Thank you for making Korean food a staple in our American home!
I'm from South Africa, so thanks for always giving us substitute's.😍🥰
Once again, you make it seem so simple. It looks delicious. I’ll try making it next weekend. Enjoy!
OH MY GOD Thank you so much for the recipe🙏🏿 For the first time my chow mein turned out amazing and way better than take out too. Thank you. You're the best.
I come here each time I cook this! Thank you so much, it is delicious!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for another amazing recipe. Made this for dinner tonight and it's rhe perfect ratio of noodles to chicken to vegetables. The flavor is mwah! You have the best recipes and make cooking so easy.
Great looking recipe. I will have to give it a try.
Just made this. It was amazing!
I simply love your videos 😍 you and Claire are amazing 💓
Looks absolutely delicious
That looked great and orange chicken is my favorite along with pork and scallions!
I haven’t yet tried this but I will as I love Chow Mein.
Tip for others that I figured out:
For sauce recipes like this that have no ingredients that will go bad in the fridge you can double/triple the sauce and store the rest in the fridge for next week or maybe day 😂
You can also do some food prep once a week. Sometimes I do that so I already have washed/cut vegetables in the fridge.
It really cuts down on the time especially if you have food prepped the vegetables.
Hats off to you I followed your recipe to the exact instructions I just didn’t have the wine everything else I had and l want to say that it was the best chowmein my daughter ever had she doesn’t eat a lot of pasta but she loves her veggies I prepared the veggies chicken and the noodles the night before I just made the sauce in the morning I followed the directions how to cook everything and I packed it for her lunch she send a text telling me that it was SO GOOD she wanted the same thing for the next day lunch I was so happy she enjoyed it and it was a win win I don’t have to cook tomorrow morning thank you for sharing your recipes you are the best chef no wonder Claire loves to be the taster 😂 you are the best 😊 love all your recipes
Looks absolutely delicious and fantastic. I will try this out, I hope mine comes out as good as yours. Thanks for sharing 👍

Yes! Orange chicken! Bring some!!! Claire is so right! Great looking chow mein Aaron.
looks delicious! And I agree with Claire -- I'm chinese and I also don't like panda express chow mein for the exact same reason
Ihr seit einfach "Klasse"!! Danke Aaron and Claire!👍
Looks delicious recipe
LOVE IT...THANKS! 👍
Thanks for your help and great advice. You are a great chef. I love ❤️ Chinese food. Shafi. Houston. Tx
Thanks for the tip about frying the noodles a bit. I noticed that you didn’t use ginger. I normally sauté minced ginger with the garlic and onions.
Looks delicious....I've been waiting for you to make your version of this dish 😋
Thanks for waiting! Please let us know how it goes! 😍
Thank you so much, they look delicious!!!
Looks delicious, I will definitely be making this, can’t wait!😊

Congrats on the sponsor! Hope you get many more. Is that a new place? It looks nice. I hope you brought the dog with you. I like to see Clair interact with the puppy. I will try this recipe this week. I made your Bibimbap this past weekend, everyone loved it ( 4 for 4 total success) Thanks for all your work. Big fan.
I made this tonight and my Husband thanks you, it turned out perfect! Thank you so much💕
Coming to you from Canada
You are so welcome! So happy to hear that~! 😉👍
I miss seeing you on video I love your cooking keep up the good work
Ok. I made this tonite.
It took me 2 hours from start till served on the table, tho.
I am not a good chopper.
So that took extra time.
I even used a bagged cole slaw for the cabbage and precut carrots!
I am in the USA, so I had to look up conversions from grams, as well.
And I am soy-free, and refined sugar-free.
My Subs:
Agave/Maple Syrup vs granulated sugar
Coconut Aminos vs Soy Sauce
Found a Soy-free Oyster Sauce.
Mirin vs the Wine.
But this was VERY GOOD!
I did have to add extra salt during eating it, however.
But this recipe is definitely a keeper!!
Thank You! 🙂
😎😎😎👍
Wow! Great tasting recipe mate. Thanks to you both from kiwi land! 🇳🇿
Will always and forever love the whispered "MSG"
Looks so good
Could you write the ingredients for recipe
