absolutely beautiful gloves 👍, the amount of work and money you put in too these reviews is phenomenal, you deserve all the respect and luck that comes your way! keep up the great work.
Another great review! For me personally, Grant are not worth the cost unless you’re a pro or into collecting gloves. There’s quite a few other brands that you can buy for a fraction of the cost that are of comparable quality. But like Carlo said, each to their own on when it comes to value for money.
Hey man, great review. Just wanted to say I am the President and head coach over at Mamba Boxing Club in Connecticut and Elvis Phillips is a close friend and mentor. We are powered by Grant in our entire club. Grant Boxing is hand made in Mexico and made of "Cuero Planchado" or "ironed leather" and is extremely unqiue and part of what makes them special. It should be noted that Grant offers three different padding types. Horse hair, Training foam and tempered foam. Few things I just want to let you know, though your review as I said is excellent and very thorough. However, back with Ringside it was barely a "Grant" glove. No one really knows the history because it is not necessarily public information, but just to give some insight. Ringside "Grant" was Ringside back before Brown gave the company to his daughter (opened Sting and became President for 4 years of USA Boxing) high end equipment and Grants low end. The manufacturing is clearly cottage industry in Mexico, but a very special and exclusive contract you can assure yourself. Without giving to much away, Elvis knows his stuff. He was an amateur boxer who met the greats as a child selling Cleyto Reyes and high end boxing gear to pros outside of gyms. His dad (step) is Jimmy Montoya. To Elvis and many boxers there is no such thing as a "punchers glove". The name Grant comes from the idea of getting the company started on a Grant and making the gear for the kids on Grants given to the company. The punchman throwing a southpaw hook came later on after they were established but way before they had dealings with the original Ringside. The newer stuff is WAY more valuable than the older stuff. However, not the 'newest' stuff but the years once the Grant came from under the punchman. The least valuable however hard to find would be the years right before Ringside. The best years were 2014-2019 in terms of quality. They are still #1 by a long shot and always will be. I have a 24ft original Grant Boxing Ring in storage as well as stuff they have one offed for our club exclusively. Other than that your review is on point... P.S. NEVER EVER Buy secondhand Grant stuff! Especially not off ebay. Email them at sales@grantworldwide.com
Love what you said about the price. I tell people if you can afford it then yeah its worth it. I am in the process of ordering literally right now. I'm getting 18oz training gloves and I'll let the people know it's costing me $960 USD. The process takes time and I'm a man of little patients so it's personally frustrating but once I get them I think it will be worth it to me. Thanks for the great content Bro.
Hey Carlo, love the reviews. Could you review more budget gloves and shoes? Possibly under $80-100. I feel like a lot of people could benefit from that, including me lol. I know you've done a few in the past, but I wanted to see how things have changed from the past year.
With that budget the fortress SS 2.0 they’re always on discount around that price. I’d grab them immediately but the shipping gets funcy: 60€ to thip them in Italy, so with 130/150€ you go for the Adidas Adispeed
After working out several times they are wider and seem to fit better. Thank you for the reply guys. I'm a beginning boxer and bout my gloves too big before.
@@testtor2714A boxing match is more than just a contest, money and health are on the line. A custom glove that acomidates the specifications that a fighter requires helps him have confidence in his punch which creates better performance for the competitor. Overpriced in your opinion, but how much can you pay for the peace of mind that the glove you have will protect your hand during the fight 🤔
i still think new sporting makes grant. i believe they had the three colour thumb before or simultaneously as grant. i haven't pulled the trigger on these. i haven't bought grant since ringside sold them. i'm debating buying 10oz winning pro fight gloves or stock 10oz grant fight gloves. i am looking for a little more variety in my gloves (basically all winning right now). the 10oz winning do last a long time though.
Hey man. Wanted to pick your brain. Looking for an extra mid-level glove to add to my collection for mostly heavy bag work. I have the hayabusa t3 and title world v2T’s already. Looking for one more under $100. Maybe $60-$80 but something that’s known for good wrist protection. What do you think?
Hey Carlo, I'm training boxing and I've been thinking of buying a good all around glove and can't decide if I'll buy a Twins BGVL 3 or the Fairtex BGV11 F-Day. And I'm also cansidering the Fairtex BGV 9. I'd really appreciate the answer thank you.
Hey carlo, I was wondering what the best bang for my buck is when it comes to quality for a pair of gloves. Do you have any top gloves that fall into that category?
Hi carlo, I’m want to get a Grant gloves, and wish to train with it on the heavy bags and mitt work, more of training work. So would you recommend the Pro Fight Lace up or Pro training Lace up.
Hi, I just bought The Rival RB11. My hand is 9.5 cm wide and 21cm long. I was advised to get the large but I feel my fingertips really pushing through the top of the glove and the mouse of my hand feels like not high enough in the glove to be comfortable. The glove in all feels really stable though. The seller told me i just need to break in the gloves and they will give in time. Perhaps I previously bought my gloves to large? always bought XL in other brands but then there was to much wiggle room for my hand. Any suggestions? Thank you
nowadays, winning is extremely scarce. production gloves in stock colors are basically not being made right now. custom colors, they're not even an option. unless winning is undergoing a crisis, i believe they're trying to lower supply and increase demand to raise prices.
Hey Carlo, how would you compared these to your blue Winnings ms-200s? I’m deciding which pair to get next?(for light work/mitt work) Either Grants or Winnings ? Thanks
Impossible to get even being a high level amateur and pro sparring partner. Even more expensive when u can get them They r nice gloves, a hybrid Japanese Mexican style in my opinon. One good thing is they retain their value. I have 3 older pairs i can get back almost double my money from selling on Ebay😊
I really like Grant's but you're not lying. Not widely available and super expensive I love Mexican gloves but if I'm getting $600 gloves I'm getting Winnings or another Japanese top manufacfurer

@@csquaredboxing just realized your video covers this 😑 thanks anyways brother good stuff.
A friend of mine has grant and they are overpriced and i mean heavily overpriced. Like sickening overpriced. They should cost 300 dollars max

Nice
Seems like GRANT is geared towards the pro market where they will customize every detail including padding.
💯
Yup. Overpriced nonsense. Normal boxers don't need these.

Awesome! Fantastic review Carlo👍🥊 Been waiting for the review to drop. How do you think these Grants compare to the ProMex Combatiente?
Thanks! Better quality overall
Hey man big fan of your channel? Would you recommend these for heavy bag use as far as durability?
On a softer filled bag, yes
Are you going to do a review of the newer grant training gloves, also what do you think of their groin guard and head guard.
Maybe
Beautiful gloves. Just wish they were a bit more affordable.
Agreed

I just ordered my first grant gloves, but the thing is their pro fight gloves 14oz……. Can I still hit the bag with them???
They'll have a site as soon as Mr. Grant saves up enough cash to buy a new computer. He's still on windows 98 give him time.
Where did u order your gloves from i been trying to get a pair of grant gloves for a min but the sites be shady
Hi carlo i just wanna ask if what bag glove is more comfortable,
rival guerrero intelli-shock or the rival guerrero sf-f both 10oz
About the same tbh
How have these held up bro?
No rounds useage tag to get signed off after so many rounds in a sanctioned fight?

How long do they take to respond to an email? I sent an email regarding a purchase and they haven't responded.
Depends honestly, one time it took them several weeks to answer my email
Grant or Salvador Elite which is better?
I like grant a little more
