    What a great area. I work in the Chilliwack area a lot, I’m going to have to start driving down from Edmonton so I can bring my bike.

    Those are some awesome trails. I would like to try the blue one. The black and double black are a bit of my skill level but with a guide I think I could clear them. Great video!

    Rad stuff and great to see it rideable at this time of year. Horseface trail is a steep one, have you heard of that? It's quite a distance from you in Asheville, NC.

    • @VanCan
      @VanCan  5 років тому

      Well this was last fall, it’s snowy right now. I think I have heard of it, I believe I saw it in one of Seth’s videos?

    good job on that "sketchy skinny". it looked wet and slippery.

      It was better than it looked!

  • @markritchie7059
    @markritchie7059 5 років тому +1

    "Is this a sketchy skinny?" LOL you make the the North Shore skinnies look not so hard - this one was old, rotten, and greasy. 100% sketchy. Well done.

    • @VanCan
      @VanCan  5 років тому

      Haha ya that one wasn’t too bad. It’s fine as long as you don’t fall 😝

  • @hobmarg

    Vedder is sick.. didn't make it out there in 2018 but have to sometime this spring/summer... even though it's SE facing, I think because of shading from adjacent mountains that the trails retain moisture a lot longer than you'd expect and it doesn't turn into a dustbowl as soon as other areas.

    • @VanCan
      @VanCan  5 років тому

      Ya it’s a super cool mountain. Hopefully I can get out there a few times this summer.

  • @IslandBikeLife

    That skinny is so sketch. I have started it a couple times and fallen off just as many, good work!

    • @VanCan
      @VanCan  5 років тому

      Thanks. Ya it was a bit sketch!

    Was this filmed a little bit ago? I see no gum walls on those tires haha. Hoping to go riding near Seattle next weekend, fingers crossed conditions will be decent!

    • @VanCan
      @VanCan  5 років тому

      Nahhhh this was last fall. There’s still snow on the ground here. Probably be another week or two before things clear up.

    • @TheShredist
      @TheShredist 5 років тому +2

      @@VanCan Dang, maybe I should wait another week or so to make the trip then. Btw, all those wet wood features caused me anxiety! Good video! 🤘

    Nice video guy ! But what's your GoPro setting ? Are you Protune on ? And what did you do in post production ? You use LUT ? Thanks

    • @VanCan
      @VanCan  5 років тому

      I use protune, flat colour, native WB, -1EV, low sharpness. Then I colour correct in DaVinci Resolve. No luts

    Sick video! Just one tip, your 'huh' sound is a little bit weird ;) but still a great video

    • @VanCan
      @VanCan  5 років тому +1

      Thanks, although I’m not sure how that’s a tip. It’s more of a very short ‘Ha’.

    • @colinmoreh
      @colinmoreh 3 роки тому +1

      @@VanCan That is a really weird and putz-y comment. It's not weird at all. It's the "nervous laugh/having fun" sound that most of us make when we're hanging it out there a bit. Ignore this guy and keep doing what you're doing broski and thanks for coming out and visiting us.

    U seem to ride alone a lot , does this mean u need a riding partner ? I ride alone a lot as well . And ride a lot of the same trials u do , we'll Burnaby mountain and frome . Vedder looks sick .

    • @VanCan
      @VanCan  5 років тому

      I film alone most of the time, but my riding schedule is pretty sporadic. Maybe I’ll do some group rides this summer.
