    Fantastic trail! It's great to see local communities of riders creating such amazing lines for others to enjoy (mostly using their own time and tools to do it) - huge kudos Guys! Best from Ireland

    Try using your 170mm fork off the enduro on the sight, might help your initial complaint about it being a tiny bit short on travel

  • @mtgears
    @mtgears 4 роки тому +2

    How would nimbleness compare to smaller wheels but larger travel? Would a 27.5 180mm front make a trail like that boring or would the smaller wheels help to keep it fun?

  • @davidhargrave778

    This channel in summary:
    -29ers are too big
    -29ers are too small
    -27.5 is just right
    -27.5 is too small
    -It depends on suspension travel
    -It depends on geometry
    -Can 29ers jump
    -Can 27.5 bikes jump
    -What's best on tech
    -What is life?

  • @aMilling
    @aMilling 4 роки тому +1

    I'm currently deciding if i should go from 27.5" HT to a 29" FS, and have been eyeing a santa cruz hightower CS.
    I love how my chameleon 27.5" is nimble and that it can get airborne without much speed.
    But it seems like most mid travel 29ers can do that now.

    • @clemj7928
      @clemj7928 4 роки тому

      I think it is the cable and brake housings slapping into each other. Zip ties or tape to connect the ones that hit each other without impeding steering works to make it quieter. They may be a bit too long also, I found myself staring at them during the video, looks like 8 housings up there.

    I never get the too much travel argument. Run more pressure, add tokens, speed up rebound. There are so many ways to make a long travel bike more poppy if you want.
    Then back it off as you need.
