Vedder is one of the great arguments for ebikes. You can get some epic descending in a pretty short period of time if you can spin up that main road with any speed.

Awesome riding and eMTB video! I'm from Northern Cali and belong to an eMTB group (over 1000+ members). So we have a high acceptance level for eMTBs here in Cali. We sometimes do encounter ebike haters but we just ignore them. My skill progressed quickly because I'm able to ride 2-3 times more with my Kenevo. And the stability and grip on the eMTB is insanely good. It's like having a self shuttling DH bike. Please post more eMTB videos! We love em! Thanks.
I didn‘t know for a long time that you guys in America differentiate between ebikes and non-ebikes regarding trails and that there even exist trails that must not be ridden with an ebike. Here in Switzerland there is no such thing. I even take my ebike to the bike park because I only own that one bike.
@@Schnabulation yes, some parts of US still has low acceptance rates for eMTBs and don't allow it on some trails. I only have one bike too which is my Specialized Kenevo. And I also take it to Northstar Bike Park. It's so versatile, it can do it all.
@@Flex-Jitsu Do you leave the battery out when riding park? I have noticed that by removing the battery I can save around 3kg and bring my bike down to 19kg. It also gets a bit more nimble too…
@@Schnabulation No, I leave mines on. I still want some assist on some sections. And I don't mind the extra weight. As it helps with the stability. And I don't get ping'd around the rowdy stuff.

So much nonsense talked about eBikes by people who don't own them and have never spent any decent time on them to compare. People will listen to Remy, lots of scope for him to provide this great info on them. Everything he said here is exactly my experience. So much so, I only ride them now, unless at an uplift bike park.

Great video! The trails where I live have been dusty like this for awhile and really blown out and are now pretty much going straight to being covered in snow, so it's been an interesting late summer/fall for riding. Congratulations on your Canadian citizenship!

Vedder mountain is near Chilliwack so not on Vancouver Island. But also, the East Coast of Vancouver Island actually gets very little rain in the summer. One of the past few years it didn’t rain for a month in some areas.

Rémy is there a big difference between squashing a jump and scrubbing a jump? To my knowledge and experience, squashing is a lot easier and less risky.
It is easier, but it only works at a certain speed, and on certain jumps, drops. Scrubbing is harder but better if you can do it well.
Congrats on the citizenship ! Have you already done a video presentation of your ebike? It would be interesting to watch, or maybe i missed it.

2. je mesure 1.76m et j'hésite à couper mon cintre de 800 pour le passer en 760 qu'en penses tu? (Ride: trail agressif et descente enduro, je roule en ransom)

Hey I run tubeless on all bike and use slightly higher more psi on my ebike. 21 and 23 psi with DH casings. I use 745mm and I am 170cm. 760 for 176cm seems fair.

Which size are you running on Ekano? As I remember in one of your first videos with Propain bikes you said that you choose Propain because of longer reach among other things ( I think something around 450mm).
