- Hello and Welcome to The Passenger Seat Podcast, a podcast designed to fill your passenger seat with chat about classic cars, all recorded from my 1968 Morris Minor, Peggy.
In todays episode, I explain how we misdiagnosed a banging noise from Peggy's rear driver's side and it cost me £600!

Great video, the passion in the way you talk about your car brought memories back of my late friend Fred who had a traveller and a van.
Aw that's lovely, thank you very much 😊 I really am very passionate about my car!
Great podcast Becca. It was interesting to hear what Peggy has been up to! One thing us for sure, there's always something to do! Letty is getting a new steering rack this winter along with brake flexy hoses and a new exhaust. I'll tackle everything myself as I don't use her every day so I can enjoy the tinkering process 😊
I enjoy a tinker when I can but it's sometimes inevitable to have to farm it out - hope letty enjoys her new exhaust as much as Peggy!
Congratulations on getting to series 4 of your podcast Becca, you never disappoint. Maurice is currently getting an engine swap and some rust repaired on the floor. There's always something to do on a Morris Minor.
Thank you 😊 there really is always a list isn't there!
Great to hear peggy is sorted! The single most best modification I did on my morris when it was completely stock was a front anti roll bar, cheap off the shelf and easy to fit from esm, definitely recommend 😁
Me too! Quite the relief! I've thought about an anti roll bar but I'm kind of fond of the body roll around corners!
Love that jumper. :)
Thank you! It's very seasonal but I get wear out of it in the season!
@@passengerseatpodcast Of course you should do... I would wear it to a slayer or Hawkwind concert too. ;)
Cool lady👍
Thank you very much!
Another great video, well done. I notice Peggy has a badge bar. Where did you source it from please & how does if fasten. The ones at ESM need two holes drilling in the bumper in order to fit. Cheers, Paul Lucas.
It got it from Moss Europe as it doesn't require any drilling-if its not available online it can be worth calling them 😊 glad you enjoyed the video!
Its so frustrating when you hear a noise and can't place where it's coming from,
Old cars and money pits go together. Ric from Oz 👦🇦🇺👍😎
They break the bank and our hearts, but we still love them 😂
Richard Hewitt, they ain't ( money pits) if you learn how to fix them yourself. Rebuilt a Morris Minor (body & engine) in the past. Cheap motoring, once you understand them.
@@CraigMilesUA-cam it's cheaper, but there's still money in it, parts, tools and learning all costs money!
@@passengerseatpodcast Yeah I guess it helped that I had welding qualifications, and could rebuild engines (when I had mine)😁.
I'm fascinated by that red steering wheel, never seen one before 👍
@@CraigMilesUA-cam it's a custom one - I found an old messed up one at a auto jumble and a friend of mine painted it up 😊
Can you concentrate on driving when behind the wheel rather than talking to the camera...
