At the moment I would choose: -Watch6 Classic, if style and rotating bezel is a must have - Watch5 Pro for best battery life by far - Watch5 regular 44 mm in every other case, since the price is now very close to Watch4 and battery is noticeably bigger. In all cases always opt for larger one, if it reasonably fits, since battery size and -life differences are huge between 40/41 mm and 44/45 mm versions.
Have had my watch 4 classic since release. Its still perfect. i just want more battery. Ive only installed a gorillla glass screen protector. I gotta charge it every other day and its slow charging
Watch 5 pro is the one for sure. Has all the biometrics, titanium durability, battery and it has the perfect size screen. Not too big or small so it's comfortable to wear asleep and during a workout.
I personally use the 5 pro but i feel like its a bit too bulky like its too thick and 45mm doesnt look good on every wrist imo 44 or 43 would have been better
Yeah but coming from a galaxy watch 46mm the bezel is a need, as is the battery, so samsung is not available even after 3 generations of wear os watches
I went to Best Buy and tried the Watch 6 styles on to make sure I could handle the extra 3mm on a classic. I have a very small wrist but it worked. I set up fall detection on my older Watch 4 and put it on my mom (she is in her 90's and refuses to wear a necklace) and got myself a 6 Classic. We are both very happy.
@@dubbeatdownIf this is a concern, you can always buy 2 watches so you can have the other one on while it's charging. Realistically, though, you would be charging it when you're sleeping and wouldn't be getting out of bed after that.
I got a watch 4 classic LTE 46mm about a month ago for 10000Rs (~120$). I’m pretty happy with the watch. An unexpected benefit is the find my phone feature. I work in quite a big area. Might keep my phone somewhere and then go off and do work or brainstorm in another area/cubicle on the floor, once I’m done, I remember about the phone. At least now I can quickly find my phone using this feature. One downside of the watch is that you have to keep it away from kids. My niece and nephew just want to play with it all the time. They like spinning the bezel….and it definitely won’t last long if it gets beaten up and spun around like that.
I had a Watch4 Classic. Great watch. Switched to the W5 Pro for that much extended battery life, build and I was surprised how much better the screen quality/resolution is. And liking the cleaner less cluttered style, without the raised bump between the buttons.
Watch 4 classic user here. What do you recommend about shifting to watch 5 Pro. For me watch 6 classic isn't much, owing to its strange kind of a design.
Hi. I like the 5 Pro better than the 6 Classic. Don't miss the bezel. Cleaner lines, much longer battery, titanium, lighter. Perhaps wait to see if Samsung releases a 6 Pro this year 🤔
I am using the Watch 6 Classic silver and no regrets. I really like the design and the slim bezels. The battery lasts for 30 to 40 hours as advertised.
I'm using the watch 4 classic lte 46mm one. I'm thinking of upgrading to the watch 6 classic. Should I use my wat h 4 classic or upgrade it to the 6 classic?
@@dynamitegamer69they are pretty much the same, only good update would be to the gw5 pro like I did for the battery life. I had the gw4 classic silver 46mm also
@@juandiegosarmiento137 ah I see, I thought of upgrading it to the gw5 pro but I really like the rotating bezel which gives it a classic look. I guess I'll be using the watch 4 classic until it's completely exhausted and then I'll consider an upgrade.
GW6 classic, giant size on my small wrist. My third GW. Just can't seem to break the addiction! I am heavy duty into exercise and I keep trying Garmins--but in the end, I do a lot of zone 2 training, so the GWs seem to track my heart rate good enough. I know when i am tired/run down, and I don't want Garmin telling me I need to rest--it's depressing. And I love the GW smartwatch features and the bezel. Even tried wearing a GW and a Garmin, but my workouts get thrown in sporadically during the day, so that was just too much of a pain. Wish Samsung would just give more attention to the fitness features and make their watches competitive with Apple. I refuse to switch from my Android phone just to use an Apple watch.
I purchase the watch 6 classic. Although the unit had a faulty display, Samsung did replace the display for free. Also love the rotating bezel, only reason why I went for the classic.
@@cms_samuelbecause it loses water resistance when they open the device to replace the screen, you should've demanded a new one, you paid for the IP68 rating and immediately lost it.
The GW6 has been just fine for me. I am coming from a Garmin (which I still use on my very long days/runs), but the GPS side-by-side with my Garmin has been great. Better than my wife's GW4 by comparison.
@@ExaltedSigma Heart rate has been pretty consistent between my GW6 and Garmin. I tested without a chest strap, but they fit well (non-Classic) and for most part were within 1-4 of one another. The biggest thing is Garmin's ecosystem vs. Samsung, and obviously the battery life, but the GWs are a lifestyle choice versus pure exercise choice.
I'm really caught up between a garmin fenix 6 or a GW6 classic. I'm not super outdoorsie and really want the touch screen/phone txt ability. Would you recommend the gw6 over the garmin? It's such a hard decision lol
@@rolemodel902 if you're not into much outdoorsy stuff the GW6 would be more than fine. I've been testing it against my Garmin for four weeks now and it's tracked as well as the Garmin. Garmins battery life is unbeatable, but it's a MiP screen so that's expected. Paired with my Samsung phone, the watch is fantastic. I took my regular back to Costco and went to Samsung's site and traded in an old Garmin I had that worked for 100 off, and my student discount. Sapphire, touch, and pretty decent activity profiles. It's hard to beat and cheaper than a Venu (not Sapphire too). Out the door I paid 307 for my GW6 Classic.
I own a Galaxy 4 Classic and recently purchased a Garmin Epix Gen 2. The $800 watch is beautifully built and the multisport and health monitoring software is fantastic. After a couple months of use later I can say that if you are not into extensive GPS use, and you are more of an urban sports person and appreciate a package that include sport, health, connectivity and "smart" features, i think Samsung does a great job and the Galaxy Watch is a solid all around option for less than half the price.
I'm a Garmin (Venu Sq2) guy, but recently bought the Galaxy 6 40mm and am really enjoying it. There's room for both IMHO. I wear the Garmin for dedicated exercise routines, workouts and days I'm wearing sweatclothes.. I wear the Galaxy for work and dinners out. The Galaxy does just fine measuring daily walks and casual stuff. I used it to to track an indoor bike session and it was on par with the Garmin in terms of burn and accuracy Both sync with MyFitnessPal and I don't see much variance in accuracy. I view the Galaxy as an extension of my phone (Pixel 6) and as such, the battery life is fine and mirrors that of my phone. But for dedicated workouts and travel, when battery life is key, Garmin rules the roost. But the Galaxy is nicer with work clothes and does some cool phone-like things the Garmin can't. I eat apples and oranges . . . and enjoy Garmin and Galaxy. I see no conflict.
@@hybridinfodesk409 Mike OB I'm sure has a video (or 2) about the Garmins and their differences. I like the Vivoactive 5 as well as the Venus. I don't see much difference - AMOLED displays, great battery life and tons of fitness tracking stuff . More than any non-Olympic decathlete will ever need. Just depends on what size you like.
The watch 4 Classic (46mm) also has a rotating bezel making it satisfying to use and its much cheaper than the watch 6. Wonder why he didn't mention that, maybe trying to herd people towards the more expensive model?
Not sure if you didn't mention it because it's not sold anymore? But I've had the Watch 4 Classic since the pre-orders for it went live and I absolutely love it. I couldn't justify upgrading to the 5 because the lack of bezel, and I couldn't justify upgrading to the 6 because of the lack of unique features. A temperature sensor and different material isn't enough for me. Here's hoping the Watch 7 will be a worthy upgrade!
@@turkeyeater5206 It wasn't that good of a deal. I would've had to pay like $130 or something like that. I think for the pre-order of the watch they were giving a really good discount on the Buds 2 Pro, but I already had them so didn't care for that.
@@mathewshoyt1763 not sure if you were replying to me or not, but i was not saying to sell the gw4 classic for $30. I was saying that he could have done a trade-in at samsung, the gw4 classic for a gw6 for free or paid an extra $30 for the gw6 classic
@@turkeyeater5206Traded my GW 4 45mm Classic for the GW 6 44mm. The classic was too heavy and uncomfortable for all day use. The GW 6 classic is too big in my opinion.
When you go for a short trip of a weekend or so, Watch5 Pro is just so satisfying on the battery, you don't need to think about it at all basically the whole time because it just gives you the confidence. But for others I always need to check the battery occasionally during the day to decide if I should turn on the power saving mode or remember to charge it when I go back to the hotel. This really make a difference on the experience
Great video! I'd love to see a similar one with garmin watches specifically the venu 3, vivoactive 5, and the sq2. Doing some research and the garmin smartwatches might be the most underrated watches right now. Especially where their battery life is significantly better.
If you have the money for it, the watch 6 is the all rounder. I feel the classic version, you should just get a much cheaper normal watch. Watch 6 is fast, lighter, looks nice. Great for workouts and sleeping with. I shower and eat dinner with the watch on the charger each day, and that's all the charging it needs. If you are going out to eat, or out for the night, the battery can easily take on the extra hours. Literally hits the mark for all it was meant to be. The rotating bezzle is cool, but I wouldn't work out or sleep with it. This is my opinion 100 percent. I do rock the Galaxy watch 6, I have a pretty cool screen protector that clips on, makes it look more classy somehow, I'm glad I found it. You can find all sorts of screen protectors online.
@Heeyitsmika Yes, I highly recommend the Galaxy Watch 6. I feel naked without it now lol. I just glance at my Watch instead of fighting to get my phone out of my pocket. I control my music through the watch all the time. I got the time, the date, the weather, my heart rate and how many steps I've taken on the face of my watch. I have had my phone die and answered a work call through my watch. I also use my watch to find my phone a lot, lol. So many nifty things when it comes to health as well. From tracking your workouts to tracking how much you sleep, it will even record how much you snore. I'm positive once you get the hang of the Watch interface and have customized it to yourself, that you will be glad you have it.
exactly my thoughts. that's why i bought watch 6. it's getting wearos 5 update too while being significantly cheaper. please send links of your protector.
I love the watch 5 pro. I think charging a smartwatch is still an annoying thing to do, so less charging is definitely a huge plus. I also love the design and the titanium body. Not a fan of a rotating bezel either
Same ere. Watch 5 Pro lte and the Welltory App for training and tracking hrv, a decent band for improved heart rate tracking, and a better battery life in comparison to the other Samsung watches.
I got my watch 4 44 mm last December and I am still getting consistently 2 days with sleep tracking. Yes I love my watch 4, even tho I did want the newer watch 5 but I opted in for the cheaper watch for cause there pretty much identical.
Thank you again for a very useful video :) I am getting my first Galaxy watch for Christmas. I chose Galaxy Watch 6 - it is cheaper than the Classic version, and it has all the same features besides the rotating bezel. Also compared to 5. generation the screen bezels are smaller and the cpu and ram are upgraded. So I am looking forward to it.
Trust me the bezel is night and day to UX Also don't hear the "get previous gen for cheaper" bs You're already paying for it get the latest one it'll last longer. My watch stopped supporting 2024 phones because samsung said so
The only thing that I'm worrying about is performance and overall UI smoothness. I'd like to get a GW6 Classic but I have heard rumors and watched reviewers who said that the UI is laggy, animations are stuttery and that some actions take some time to complete. How true is that ?
That is unfortunately true. Coming from the GW4 Classic to the Watch 6 Classic. I feel the slightly more laggy interaction but it's not that big of an issue to me at least
@GawayneMaddix yeah, that's what I figured :/ Having made the switch to an S23U from an iPhone 13 Pro Max about 3 months ago, I'm not convinced with the UI smoothness and the lackluster animations. I used to have an AW7 which, in terms of animations, was almost flawless. Nevertheless, I need a smartwatch and I believe the GW6 is my best bet.
Probably worth mentioning that the Watch 4 was also available (and mostly still is) in the Classic form, with the rotating bezel. Also, the Watch 4 won't be "out of date" any sooner then the Watch 5 or Watch 5 pro, remember that they share the exact same CPU and RAM! The biggest draw to the Watch5 PRO for me is the bigger battery and also faster charging compared to the Watch4. I don't think that was mentioned either. Watch 5 and 6 charge considerably faster then the 4 making the battery life a smaller problem because you can top them up quickly compared to the slow charge on the 4. So yeah, things are even more complicated then they seem, lol
@@delayedplayer With a replacement battery, probably. My 4 still works fine but I can feel the battery dropping a bit in endurance. It's also not as fast as it used to be but it's still pretty usable. Like buying a $200 phone nowdays. Nothing special, but it gets the job done.
@@delayedplayer They just released the new 'FE' version along with the new phones which is basically a refreshed/repacked Watch 4. Not as cheap as the price you mention obviously but possibly a better investment.
I just received the standard Galaxy 6 watch for free with S24 Ultra and I can honestly say my Galaxy Watch 4 Pro leaves it standing, the 6 is horrible, the battery on the 4 beats it by 30/40% daily and the digital bezel is far to sensitive. And the battery on my Huawei GT 2 hammers everything! Why the hell is battery life so bad on Galaxy.
I'm still using my Galaxy watch 3 46mm. Had it 3 years and its been worn daily. Work hiking gym and sleeping. Still going strong. Just ordered the watch 5 Pro. If its half as good and reliable as my old one I will be happy.
I recently picked up a watch 4 classic for $99 at a nearby walmart. I'm debating whether to keep it or go for something newer. I can't beat the price I got it for brand new in a sealed box.
I love my big boy Watch 5 Pro titanium. It does everything I need & it last me 4 days easily, but I throw it on charge every night or 2 or 3. I do have a beautiful Refurbished S3 Frontier from Amazon for $100 that I bought 2yrs ago & it still last 2 days. I use it when out saltwater fishing here in very hot SE Texas 🤟
I continue to use my Galaxy Watch 2 for the main reason that I love the rotating bezel and it's still super functional for my daily use. The day that it finally craps out on me and fails to work is when I will upgrade to the classic 6. I realize the OS is incompatible with my current Samsung phone (Fold 4) but I can go about my business, so it's not an issue for me
I tried the classic 6 47 mm. Very disappointed. It is super laggy when switching between screens and there is a considerable delay when you press the buttons. I ended up returning it.
I’m actually still on the the first watch. It has a rotating bezel and a gold and pink design. I’m still very content about it. Not gonna change for a while.❤
I still have the OG first Galaxy Watch. Is it worth upgrading to the big watch 6 classic? Is there a watch 7 classic coming this year that i should wait for?
I bought a GW4 Classic 2 years ago. It saved my life. Right away It detected that I had a-fib. I went to a cardiologist and he confirmed it and I got treatment for it. I haven't seen enough of a difference yet to make it worth upgrading to a GW6.
I just picked up the W5 Pro wifi refurbed in perfect condition for $129. The Ti build and battery life sold me. I already have W5 regular which is feature rich but not good battery life.
I had the Watch 4 Classic for over two years. I'm a pretty heavy duty user so the watch had scuff marks and scratches all over the rotating bezel and sides, plus its battery worsened significantly over time that I finally decided to upgrade to the 6 Classic this month. Got the 47mm variant, so the slightly bigger size still makes a difference and looks better on my wrist.
🌟I personally chose the Watch 5 Pro! Because of it being Titanium, Battery life, Size, the band, and of course its features also! Stainless and aluminum to soft. I still haven’t ever heard of what grade of stainless steel they use on the others…. Some stainless steels are soft materials also unless it is the heat treatable ones! Great video 🌟Mike🌟 Thanks for sharing all of this wonderful information!
My AW2 just died (4.25 years) so now I bought a W4 as a temp bridge watch while I wait for the W7 or maybe W7Pro which seems to promise so much to be available in the next year or so.
For Watch 7, I want the rotating bezel, large screen, much more storage, Tizen version, and longer battery life. Plus, a revamped Health app more like Wellory. And, a dedicated tile you can customize as all in one quick launch.
I currently have a Garmim fenix 3 sapphire for like 6, 7 year's and is been good. Battery used to last 2 weeks, now 10 days. Is been very reliable and got it for $300 om a black Friday. Now, theres lots of features I would like and dont have, like responding to messages and see pictures and to charge fast wireless. On my phoenix, that stupid proprietary cable that takes almost a day to charge. I think I might go for the 5 pro, because of that battery life and at this point, anything is an upgrade.
Anyone go from the 5pro to the 6 classic? What are your likes / dislikes. I have the 5pro. But was just given the 6classic as a gift and don't know if it's worth switching
Hey, from everything that I have researched, I think you should keep using the 5 Pro. It is much better in terms of the 6 classic. Unless you’ve been using your five Pro so much so that the battery health has significantly decreased and using the watch, six would be huge battery update due to the battery health, being the sole reason because of usage. if that is not the case. I highly suggest you keep using your five Pro.
good job mike but I have one little critique: you go way too fast which is hard to follow. I have noticed of course that everyone that does what you are doing talks very fast and do not leave screens up long enough to look at them and still follow along with the dialogue. I don't but like I said it seems that everyone is too fast to follow, maybe you have a time limit or something, but I just wanted to pass that along.
for my wife's birthday.. really looking hard at the 6 we all have android phones so that is a + but the 40mm cream seems to be the one for her.. thank you for this great review Mike.. much appreciated for the time and efforts you put in...
Another great video! I've had my GW4 for a little over a year and I think I'll wait for the next iteration. I'm loving it but would like a longer battery life, when I replace it.
I just got the 5 Pro Golf edition and I'm obsessed with these watches now. Might have to get my mom one too, cuz she likes playing golf as much as I do and she was impressed with what this one can do, and it'll tell me if she falls.
The only advantage of the classic is the protection of the raised bezel. I had the Frontier and the 4 Classic. I found the bezel to be of very little use and added to the bulky look and feel. The 'virtual' touch bezel works great, I DO like the rotatinon through the screens but personally the physical bezel did not work as smooth as I would have liked anyway. I went with the 6 this time (44mm) and put a tempered glass screen protector on it. I love it, it's so sleek and smooth. Should anything unfortunate befall its existence I have Verizon's Total Equipment Coverage. I'm really liking the 6.
Hey Mike, I'm currently in the market for a warch and am looking between the Watch6 LTE 40mm and the Watch5 LTE 44mm. I need at least 24h battery. I will be having AOD off. Which one do you think I should get ignoring their price tag?
It's all nice but NON of these watches are worth getting. Non of them are as accurate as the Apple watch (and I'm an Android user). I have been waiting for the 6 classic since the other two weren't accurate but then, so is the 6. Samsung uses the same sensors every year. I'll be waiting for the 7. Hopefully it will be accurate. If you want to get a watch just for its look and battery, get a regular watch or a band, they look good and the battery lasts for 2 weeks, otherwise, wait for the 7.
I have two options here : 1. Galaxy watch 4 classic at $120 2. Galaxy watch 5 at around $210 Which one should I buy? What is the specific features difference between the two watches except for battery life and screen quality?
Got the 6 glassic in silver (nicely finished stainless I must say), took it to a jewelry/watch maker and got a nice stainless steel strap fit for me. It beats every other option out there in terms of looks in my opinion. Now both the watch body and the strap have a nice combination of polished and finely brushed stainless steel.
As always: good review! I have used Komoot on my Gear S3 and was very happy with the turn by turn navigation on the map on it. Unfortunately Komoot doesn't support map view on the Wear OS watches. The Samsung routes option on my Watch 5 Pro is only half as useful.... Do you know of any good alternatives to Komoot on a Watch 5 Pro? Especially if in the long run I want to upgrade to a next device as I understand the routes option is not available for Watch 6
I kept my Tizen Watch 3 lte version. It still does stuff wearOS doesn't do. I only buy apps for it because it is easier. Like Samsung Store, much better. I switch them up, but Watch 3 has the better watch faces. Pure eye candy & efficiency. Paid and free. I hate Google Playstore inefficiently laid out for wearable and other devices. Garbage Watch face apps with redirects for usage.
I have the Gear S3 frontier, so like a 7 or so year old watch, was thinkin about upgrading, i would hope/imagine if i got the watch 5 or watch 6 it would be a vast improvement over my oldie (but a goodie)
My wife bought new Watch 6 40mm. Previously she owned Active2. So it is huge update for. Not only Tizen vs Wear OS, but also material and glass. I had Watch 4 and I went 5 Pro. Bigger battery is always better. I bought my Watch 5 Pro from second hand for 150 Euro and they are like new.
Sleep tracking doesn't work at all. I wake up in the middle of night and goes back to sleep. Sleep tracking stop there. Mostnights watch says i slept for 3- 4 hrs. With histograms for heart rate it can hide the gaps in graphs where it doesn't measure anything.
I bought my boyfriend Watch 4 Classic, and few months later he bought me Watch 6 Classic - if being honest, I believe his works way better! And the price was also definitely better !!
Got my 5 pro right before the 6 came out and honestly didnt regret not waiting at all. Loooooove my 5 pro. Its such a unit. My friend went to playfully smack my husband and caught his watch and it left a bruise on her hand. My watch has SMASHED on a doorframe while i was running around doing chores and didn't even phase the watch but took paint off the frame. Hands down, best watch ever. Built like a brick.
This video helped me a lot to pick one for my Wife,... The Bezel on the 6 Classic is nice but it makes the watch look a bit masculine & the weight is a lot more. My Wife is mostly at home so I think the slimmer, lighter 6 is a good choice.
I've got watch 4 classic and see not reason to change but on the other hand I can understand someone who doesn't have such smartwatch and is willing to pay more for watch 5 or 6 just because the software update etc, hardware wise it doesn't make that of a difference
Have a 4 Classic, love it to death, love the rotating bezel, I put a Silver bezel with Roman Numbers around, I love it. Not sure what the new watches can even provide me to want to replace it
More battery basically. I had the 4 classic too but charging it daily didn't make sense for me. Only decent update would be to the gw5 pro like I did I believe
First I got the Watch 6 when the 7 came out because of the price. I was very happy with its slim and comfortable design. But the battery life annoyed me. I saw a store selling the 5 pro as a refurbished device. I bought it as well and I couldn't be happier! Depending on my needs I'm switching between them. Looks & heart rate monitoring: 6. long battery life (long walks with GPS) and receiving notifications and read them without looking at my phone: Pro 5 (I keep the 6 in offline mode to extend battery).
For galaxy watch 4, and samsung phone user. do you can link your samsumg heath app to your phone even when the phone is away, I mean you can you just go workout without your phone and then go back to your phone and can all the new data that collected when the phone is away to the phone and update to samsung health app in phone. Sorry for a long question.
First 2 months of Galaxy watch 4 for 105$ or 9k Rupees , I faced Lag while operating the watch , And I wondered that Apple watch is so smooth or I should have purchased watch 6 but , after about 2 months 10 days completed of purchasing, Its Smooth as Hell , No Lag at All , I mean NO LAG ! Fully fluid animations , and Still has 2 years if Updates Left . Now I am Fully satisfied ❤
As someone who broke free of the Apple ecosystem ( I'm still waiting for the men. On little black suits to show up at my house), I dove into the Samsung ecosystem as my work is 100% Windows based. I thought I would miss my apple watch. However, the classic six with cellular is so much easier to interact. voice dictation is amazing, really impressed. Don't be afraid of leaving the Apple ecosystem, it's not as bad as one would think.
I am just looking for a watch that can make phone calls via Bluetooth, receive texts and notifications of my choosing, and store music on the watch unless it can play my playlist from my phone via Bluetooth which of these would you recommend for me between these 3 Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy watch 6 classic or Amazfit 4 GTR?
I like the classic for the rotating bezel, but for $400 it should really have the battery life and backtracking of the 5. I've been living fine for 41 years without a smart watch, so I'll hold out for another year or two until something better comes out.

At the moment I would choose:
-Watch6 Classic, if style and rotating bezel is a must have
- Watch5 Pro for best battery life by far
- Watch5 regular 44 mm in every other case, since the price is now very close to Watch4 and battery is noticeably bigger.
In all cases always opt for larger one, if it reasonably fits, since battery size and -life differences are huge between 40/41 mm and 44/45 mm versions.
Just wondering if the same price watch 5 regular or watch 6 regular?

My watch 5 didn't even last 6 months sadly, the battery dies so quick, I have to have it on power saving mode 24/7..
Watch 5 pro is the one for sure. Has all the biometrics, titanium durability, battery and it has the perfect size screen. Not too big or small so it's comfortable to wear asleep and during a workout.
Agreed. Also the watch 6 classic shape looks like a Chinese version of random watches. Watch 5 Pro has a more classic finish
I personally use the 5 pro but i feel like its a bit too bulky like its too thick and 45mm doesnt look good on every wrist imo 44 or 43 would have been better
Watch 5 Pro is too thick. Looks strange.
The Watch 5 Pro does offer better screen protection due to the design, but I personally prefer the normal 4, 5 and 6 base model look.
Yeah but coming from a galaxy watch 46mm the bezel is a need, as is the battery, so samsung is not available even after 3 generations of wear os watches

One downside of the watch is that you have to keep it away from kids. My niece and nephew just want to play with it all the time. They like spinning the bezel….and it definitely won’t last long if it gets beaten up and spun around like that.

Lte on auto is the best. Use spigen case bezel protection.
Perhaps wait to see if Samsung releases a 6 Pro this year 🤔
@@graeme4538 okay , thank you for your input. Sounds interesting.
@@graeme4538 the watch 5 pro has a better battery than any current galaxy watch 6 can offer?
@@dynamitegamer69 yup i miss the physical rotating bezel a lot
What's better on the Apple watch? I'm on W5P, have had a Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire Titanium
Try the new Garmin Vivoactive 5 or Venu 3.
I purchase the watch 6 classic. Although the unit had a faulty display, Samsung did replace the display for free. Also love the rotating bezel, only reason why I went for the classic.
Replaced? They should have given you a new one man :(
Why would they? It's Samsung not apple, if something broke, you don't necessarily need to replace the whole device...
Interesting. What about HR between the 3?
@@rolemodel902if you want the touch and text features, look at the Venu 3. Looks very similar to the GW6
Can you elaborate the no extensive GPS use bit?
@@AbadyonYTthey’re probably talking about the hiking and running without your phone
I'm going to get one thanks, but, 2 not 3. What do you think about vivoactive 5?
@@hybridinfodesk409 Mike OB I'm sure has a video (or 2) about the Garmins and their differences. I like the Vivoactive 5 as well as the Venus. I don't see much difference - AMOLED displays, great battery life and tons of fitness tracking stuff . More than any non-Olympic decathlete will ever need. Just depends on what size you like.
Bro has a wach that last 1 whole month dam I want that!!!
The watch 4 Classic (46mm) also has a rotating bezel making it satisfying to use and its much cheaper than the watch 6. Wonder why he didn't mention that, maybe trying to herd people towards the more expensive model?
Love your quality, well articulated reviews. Thank you!
Here's hoping the Watch 7 will be a worthy upgrade!
you could have traded the 4 classic in for the 6 for free or the classic for like $30 extra
@@turkeyeater5206 It wasn't that good of a deal. I would've had to pay like $130 or something like that. I think for the pre-order of the watch they were giving a really good discount on the Buds 2 Pro, but I already had them so didn't care for that.
So your going to trade a paid off GW4 for $30.. better to sell it on marketplace for at least 50$ or much better...
Plus, over time the battery will degrade so the 5 Pro gives more longevity.

Great video! I'd love to see a similar one with garmin watches specifically the venu 3, vivoactive 5, and the sq2. Doing some research and the garmin smartwatches might be the most underrated watches right now. Especially where their battery life is significantly better.
Me too
I really want a Venu 3!
Do you still feel the same way? Its on sale and Ive been wanting it since september
The watch 6 felt great but the watch 6 classic just looks and feels better. The bezel is practical while being gorgeous.
If design satisfaction can speak will praise it because it's helpful great quality adequate for using etc... even the tiny sound of it is great
Too big
I love the rotating bezel older model in rode gold. I wish they would make another rose gold bezel watch so I can finally upgrade 😩
Trust me the bezel is night and day to UX
Also don't hear the "get previous gen for cheaper" bs
You're already paying for it get the latest one it'll last longer.
@GawayneMaddix yeah, that's what I figured :/
Having made the switch to an S23U from an iPhone 13 Pro Max about 3 months ago, I'm not convinced with the UI smoothness and the lackluster animations.
I used to have an AW7 which, in terms of animations, was almost flawless.
Nevertheless, I need a smartwatch and I believe the GW6 is my best bet.
Watch 4 is really worth buying and on some sale it is a killer deal. I got it at just ₹8500 or 100$
Probably worth mentioning that the Watch 4 was also available (and mostly still is) in the Classic form, with the rotating bezel.
So i can get a watch 4 and be fine until around 2026? 2027? seems pretty nice for a watch around $80 renewed

Thank you for a clear and concise breakdown of all 3 watches!! This is exactly what I was looking for.

How big is your wrist?

I currently have a Garmim fenix 3 sapphire for like 6, 7 year's and is been good. Battery used to last 2 weeks, now 10 days. Is been very reliable and got it for $300 om a black Friday.
Now, theres lots of features I would like and dont have, like responding to messages and see pictures and to charge fast wireless. On my phoenix, that stupid proprietary cable that takes almost a day to charge.

Also, I’ve been looking to buy a Samsung watch in case you’re open to selling either of these, please let me know

Just upgraded from my 4 to my 5 pro. Just a day in. I love it!!!
good job mike but I have one little critique: you go way too fast which is hard to follow. I have noticed of course that everyone that does what you are doing talks very fast and do not leave screens up long enough to look at them and still follow along with the dialogue. I don't but like I said it seems that everyone is too fast to follow, maybe you have a time limit or something, but I just wanted to pass that along.
My hubby & I bought love ours. We have both the 4 classic and the 6 . We call em our fancy ones or our stealth ones

Hey Mike,
I'm currently in the market for a warch and am looking between the Watch6 LTE 40mm and the Watch5 LTE 44mm.
Great video. Just ordered the 5 pro after watching this. Thx!
Can the watches be used for phone calls without a headset? How does the sound quality and noise cancellation compare between the models?
I have two options here :
1. Galaxy watch 4 classic at $120
2. Galaxy watch 5 at around $210
Which one should I buy? What is the specific features difference between the two watches except for battery life and screen quality?
Got the 6 glassic in silver (nicely finished stainless I must say), took it to a jewelry/watch maker and got a nice stainless steel strap fit for me. It beats every other option out there in terms of looks in my opinion. Now both the watch body and the strap have a nice combination of polished and finely brushed stainless steel.
Galaxy watch 6 classic is my favorite. Might get one for my brother for christmas
💯💯💯
You’re getting a day with aggressive use on the 4?
I get 18 hours, but a 15 min charge is enough to go a full 24 hrs
I have the Gear S3 frontier, so like a 7 or so year old watch, was thinkin about upgrading, i would hope/imagine if i got the watch 5 or watch 6 it would be a vast improvement over my oldie (but a goodie)
My wife bought new Watch 6 40mm. Previously she owned Active2. So it is huge update for. Not only Tizen vs Wear OS, but also material and glass. I had Watch 4 and I went 5 Pro. Bigger battery is always better. I bought my Watch 5 Pro from second hand for 150 Euro and they are like new.
Hmmm... you haven't actually tried them all. Galaxy Watch 7 is available (just bought it), and is far far better than my watch 4 and watch 6.
What are the sizes of the watches you used in your video? Please mention that in the video for people like me looking for size comparison
What is the watch face wallpaper at 2:53
I've got watch 4 classic and see not reason to change but on the other hand I can understand someone who doesn't have such smartwatch and is willing to pay more for watch 5 or 6 just because the software update etc, hardware wise it doesn't make that of a difference
This would've been helpful before ordering the Galaxy Watch6 but either way it's great for a first time smart-watch user
The price dropped even further. I bought the regular watch 6 for 239 for my mother in silver :D
To clarify, for heart monitoring, is the watch 6 better than the 6 classic? Thank you

I have a Watch 6 Classic and I really enjoy it.
