I am sorry but you have not solved the problem. If you take your car to a dealer and ask why the acceleration is so slow, will he tell you to start removing weight from the car. Lets start with removing the seats, then maybe the spare tire and so on? So the bottom line is that there is no app on the watch that will monitor battery usage like on an Android phone. I understand that battery life is subjective and influenced by individual user settings, but its an easy way to avoid the real issue. This is a fundamental flaw.

My watch drains in like 2 hours. I have it in battery saver mode and removed a bunch of apps and the custom screen. First Samsung product that has failed me massively.
      Update:
I updated the watch and I left it charging for like 2 or 3 days streight and it works much better now. Lasts about 24 hours

@@perlatapatia4334Going forward from my 2 or 3 year old Galaxy Watch LTE to a new Galaxy Watch 4 Classic LTE and my old device still had at least half a day to another day of battery life even though I work outside in Texas so I would assume that would hurt the older Watch battery over such time and temperature.

You can literally monitor battery life from settings lol. You have to think that a watch battery is so much smaller than the phone so of course any unused apps will make it drain abnormally quick. This tutorial helped me a ton because I was able to go from 10 hours of battery life to 30 hours of life

@@liberationpocket7950 Yes you can see the battery status, but not which app and which service contributed how much when. THis is the detail we need.

I put it on at 13:00 and it was almost completely drained at not even 17:00 hrs. I had nothing running other than the occasional email or text message notification. I'm so confused how could this product even pass quality control. Are we doing something wrong!?

I got a watch 4 was so exited battery would not last 8 hrs when with damn near everything off......sent back got another one and with everything off....defeating the point of smart watch would almost last a day. I don't know why they would even make a watch with such a terrible battery it is straight worthless

Fully agree. I pay extra to use as a stand alone, if i forget my cell phone at home my watch will still work. Yeah for a lousy 3 or 4 hours. Otherwise its dying by 3pm daily. NOTHING is running on it

I have a watch 5 and have the same issue. The issue is that I cant see what is causing battery drain. I can only remove everything and then add them one at a time. This is stupid.

Garbage watch. I've only had this watch for less than 2 months and suddenly the watch decides to drain the battery in less that 8 hours. I even had the watch turned off after I fully charged it, turn it on after 5 hours and now my battery is at 20%. How does that even happen?

I have that same issue with my Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium.
The "Power Off" pop-up just incessantly keeps popping up constantly without the button being pressed & it destroys the battery, even when its off!

My Watch 3 46mm Classic LTE lasts 3 days with screen off (I press a key to show the screen for 10 seconds) but with all usual apps running, including constant heart monitoring and I control in-car media with the watch. Using the exact same settings my Watch 4 46mm Classic manages just over 24hrs. The reviews said it would be more efficient and has a larger battery than the previous. I've had two Watch 4 46mm Classics in the hope that the first was defective and I didn't go with the LTE as reviews said it wasn't very efficient. I'd not bother with a smartwatch if I didn't require the Afib ECG as I have an irregular heartbeat. I only use Samsung flagship phones as I need the S-Pen which is why I buy the Galaxy Watches.
My son has a 46mm Huawei smartwatch. It cost £70 and the screen is on auto illuminate/on. The watch does much of what mine does - minus ECG and BP - but lasts for up to 3 weeks without any power saving modes being enabled.
Samsung, pull your poo together. This is shocking! I've sent the Watch 4 back and refuse to buy Watch 5 as reviews say there's next to no difference yet they've removed the brilliant dial.
I'll continue to use my Watch 3 until better arrives. The only reason I purchased the Watch 4 was because my ECG results started saying inconclusive ever since the Watch 5 landed (updates effectively nerfing older hardware) and I was hoping for better than 3 days battery - fat chance!

No, just be mindful that whatever app that you allow to open will further decrease battery life. Don't compare a watch to your phone. The batteries are significantly different in size but both draw out similar amounts of power, which means the watch won't be able to last with multiple unused or opened apps.

I have the watch 4 , my rating for this Galaxy 4 battery life is 2 out of 10. Garbage! I went on a 6 hour bike ride and use my Earbuds and watch die in 5 hours. Plus had watch on power saving mode. Worse watch ever regarding battery life .

Are you using a charging stand with the charger... I had the same issue.
Ended up having to not use the stand?
Alternatively, the ambient temperature whetre you are charging is too high. I've found anything above ~28° - 30° and the watch will give me a warning. "Watch is too hot. Cool down to continue charging" or something. It will also give an audible double beep to let you know.
