Daisy Jones & The Six is an American mockumentary streaming television miniseries developed by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid.[1] Set in the Los Angeles music scene of the late 1970s, the series charts the rise and fall of the titular rock band.
Daisy Jones & The Six premiered on Amazon Prime Video on March 3, 2023. It contains ten episodes, each released weekly.

I never appreciated Patti Smith back in the 70's but this shows I missed alot. It is a perfect song for this series and I also listen to it with gusto every time I watch "Daisy...". It is a great song, and I fear that few people are writing songs this good.

for those younger viewers, in 1979, the USA was in the disco era and it was a bad time for this song to get air-play; Patti Smith was also a fringe artist and had prominent picture with underarm hair, as I recall which did not endear her to me or many others; she also is not particularly attractive and my crowd just missed her; well, we all know what happened to disco and 40 some years on, I realize I missed a gem
