For further clarification if it wasn't clear, this won't run a large station on its own without modifications. This is meant to be run with solars, and some other forms of power generation. TEGs that power the entire station on their own for longer periods of time require more complicated setups, or more preparation. This should help get your feet wet with ideas for the TEG however.
it probably can if you put plasma in the cold loop, i find that it makes the teg more efficient due to its heat capacity. This is how I used to do teg way back. Another thing I used to do is a 1x2 chamber with an injector and passive vent that fed into the hot side then one pump into space set low. the pressure difference between the two sides of the hot side will pull the gass through the hot side. makes it easy to throttle.
Love the TEG. Hell-burn stories from SS13 are part of why I started playing in the first place. Can’t wait to see how this power source gets expanded in the future.

If you keep the injection pump to the hot loop at 2k pressure, you can keep the hot side a closed loop. (But it's still nice to have a way to vent the gasses in the event you need to clear them.) So long as you have a volume pump maxed out before the entry to the gate, the pressure you need will be maxed. As to the cold side you can inject about 2k worth of gas safely to maximize the temp-pressure differential.

PR is basically a term use to for other people that want to contribute to show the change they wanna add. Like a PR to change how gas work or a thief balance update. Also content freeze just mean there not going to be new update just bug fixes as stuff. So if someone wanna add new mechanic or new item it will get rejected until content freeze is over.

Aye, it's mostly RP and make some decisions as commands, you dont really need much mechanical knowledge for that. Most of the player know what to do anyways, for those who have no plan give them directions and training. You hardest challenge is to controll the clown and mime.
The basics for HoP is (assuming you're not gonna be the type of person to make documents), decide whether or not the person in front of you deserves the access they're asking for, and if the head of the department of the access they're asking accepts it. Then to give them the access, you ask for their ID, then you put YOUR ID in the machine that's probably right next to you in your office, followed by their ID, then you can either choose to select a preset (will give all the required accesses, change the job icon, and where they show up on the crew manifest) or just click manually on the accesses. Also please close your window, you don't want tiders jumping in there, killing you with a cobra and getting AA.
Also, another really important role of the HoP imo is to relay interdepartmental radio messages. Someone talking about a slime attack on the supply radio? Hop on the sec radio and let them know! The captain can do this too, but they usually have more important things to deal with than monitoring all the radio chatter of different departments.

I used to run two servers myself (not at the same time) where i managed to create nice balance of fun action packed events and thoughtful roleplaying, even taught admins to look at the pacing of the round and shitspawn things in when it got too stale. But i never saw any other server doing the same and once i didn't have the time to run things myself i just had to quit.

Engineer: Make new Solars, rebuild the bar or medical, build a mail system. Greytider: make an maint-bar, strike for fair loan, form a gang. Chaplain: Form a Cult, help out medical with your godly power. Cargo: Create a Cargo band and peform in bar, sell tools and funny stuff for any item they bring you, automate crate selling with conveyor belts. Janitor: smoke soap. 🧼 XD

Can one put a TEG on the cold loop of another TEG to get extra power out of the now heated loop?
You want to keep your cold loop as cold as you can, so that will be petty pointless. Also i'm not sure if you can even build the second TEG.
There's no way to get another TEG at the moment. In theory should work.

There is heat exchange in space, it just is really inefficient. But sometimes, that just is the best you get.
That would work IRL, albeit not as fast as it is in the game.
