I own the CE 24 and it has some twang and snap. It also has a lot of clarity. It's much smoother sounding and more playable than my Fender USA Telecaster. It's like a Les Paul married a Tele and had a baby with perfect fret work and a very playable neck. The CE 24 is my preferred rock machine right now. I don't regret not buying a custom. I have a $5k Gibson ES-175 and a $3k Gretsch 6120 that are great for jazz and roots music, but the CE is more versatile, and it sounds awesome with gain.
One of the finest demos of a CE24 on the web. Thank you!
CEs are my ideal PRS Guitars. Beautiful playing.
Fabulous. I prefer it to the custom. It's got a hint of strat toppy tone and attack in all configurations. Lovely stuff.
great review ....awesome tones
Thank you!
When you split pickups what does the three way switch?
Tough choice between one of these or a used Custom 24.
if you can afford a Custom, get a Custom
