Reminds me of days over 40 years ago when I worked in the livestock business. There was a Nebraska livestock trucker that we used who about the best semi driver that I've ever seen. He backed up to a chute perfectly every time on the first pass--never missed. He could drive in the worst weather--often in the Rockies in the dead of winter. He had a Kenworth cabover with a sleeper and a 400 Cummins. He was also one of the nicest people that I ever met and one of the hardest working. He passed away over 20 years ago, but I think that his kids still run his trucking business.
Having hauled livestock long distance for 45 years i really enjoyed this.trucked across nebraska kansas oklahoma momtana idaho north and south dakota in and out of canada and mexico. Retired at 75 due to wifes health
Love this. I sleep like a baby with the sweet sounds of diesel purr. I drove back in the 90s and the sleeper w tractor running was some of the best sleep I've ever had.
If i could speak like an auctioneer id be messing with everyone in the truck stop on the CB. Id be auctioning off people's truck in the truck stop. Lol.
Always watching - your an amazing trucker - father - husband - son found you years ago when you helped Diesel Brothers and been keeping an eye on you since - love your band - your father and family you Sir are Americana as it gets ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I started my career hauling cattle from Chicago stock yards to Pittsburgh in a cabover freightliner 335 Cummins and a two stick 8 million miles and fifty years later finally retired .
Perfect Timing Jax, Blowing UP just as I Predicted Day One. I appreciate what you and the Like, do for Our Country. I’ll definitely catch You on the Next One, Keep It Safe Out There Sir
Jax, i’ve never noticed in previous videos, but your cabaret international is quite nice. All the gauges work nothing is busted up the shifter works nothing‘s busted up. That’s a good fine man. Hang onto that truck.👍👍👍

You like to talk. Lmao!!! Well yeah!!! You drive truck!! And especially OTR. In the beginning it's thoughts. Then it turns into talking to the truck If it's being a pain. Then it goes to talking to yourself. Then you talk to yourself and the truck at the same time!!! Always knew the old school OTR guys when you hit a Pilot or a Loves. Anything, and I mean absolutely ANYTHING!! Sparks any type of a in passing conversation, be ready to set aside 30 mininimum.. I absolutely loved it though. I miss it.. A lot!!. Love your channel brother. Last time I drove and was knocked out by an elderly red light runner in 1999, I was driving a 96 international cabover just like yours... Don't know if you have been driving long enough but every time coming through OKC in the early early AM hours there was Bamm Bamm.. " got my nightgown on, got my pretty red panties on, and ima ready to go to bed" I'd start picking that up around Stroud Oklahoma on 44. OKC would make a drop and then head 35 south and that shit on 19 over and over and over until I'd hit around Ardmore. Depending on the skip sometimes all the way to Thackerville or even Texas, OK line.. Damn that makes me miss it.. Im sure only a very rare few know what I am talking about.. Regardless I love the channel my friend. Lots of great memories from riding with my dad in his cabover Pete on the Grapevine in California until my Time here in the heartland. Keep it up. It keeps me smiling.
Thought it was amazing! That crème and orange truck and pot he pulls for my grandpa out of Colome South Dakota and I see you parked for the night in Sargent Nebraska my in laws live 9 miles from there I used to park my truck there all the time!!
When 10 of my bookmarked channel creators gather together and awkwardly standing around some snow hut on a hillside with 4' of snow in a blizzard, dressed like it's the olympics, like deer in the headlights, with half a dozen broken machines and everybody posting the same gd content for a week and break my youtube, I always have Mr. Jax to watch, to subscribe, like and comment, because this is real content.
Love cattle, love trucks love doing, boy there isn’t anything I don’t like about workin. Yeah I own a Pete. They are my life except for my dog. Love your podcast.
Those pots you guys pull out there are huge man. They are apartment complexes lol. In CA we are stuck with our little 48’ trailers lol. Be safe out there.
Another awesome video, did you load out of headwaters in three forks? And of course I see that you fueled at the Cenex in Belle lol. I use to live there when I was trucking cattle. I really enjoy your videos, brings back memories..
Thank you so very much for posting this video! I appreciate the trip. Your cab is so quiet, fo you have special filter on your mics? My dad used to work for ARCO in California and would take one us kids with him every now and again. It was so special. I used to work as a diesel mechanic for a shop in Bakersfield,CA. Keep making these videos, please.
I love watching the trucking content. But i do enjoy all your videos.preparing for surgery on Tuesday. Will be laid up in the hospital for the next 45 days or so. Getting old sucks. I guess thats what happens when ya treat the ol body like an amusement park. Lol
Pray filled thoughts go with you. May God go with you and grant you peace', comfort, and healing, even if you did ride the roller coaster too many times.
I really enjoy all your videos, I had to give Cory (AKA The King) a little razzing about being a You Tube Star after seeing him suck the stickers off your truck on I-90 east of Kadoka! I'm originally from Conrad, now living in the Winner Area for 44 years so a lot of your runs are very familiar to me! Maybe one day we will cross paths and have time for a visit, I too have stories of Montana Legend!
Whoa just found this truck driver!!! I’m amazed!🙌👊💪❤️🔥💯 I hauled truck n pup dump trucks n did c class towing n hauled so many semis etc! But Wtfrik bro! I’ve seen them cattle truck etc but I never woulda known ya had to load your own load of dinner lol wow goodjob man! Maybe one of you can answer this question. Meat prices are at an all time high. Is it record fuel prices, less meat availability due to disease (per main stream media lol) , or just greed? I can’t even afford to eat beef anymore and my food bill for a family of 3 is almost 3x more now than it was Two years ago.
Hey there. Great question. The answer is two fold. 1.) the United States “cow herd” is the smallest it has been since almost 1960. So the supply is way down. 2.) the cost of goods across the board have gone up 23 percent in the last 3-4 years. So on top of a short beef supply, you are also getting another 23 percent slapped on that because of the economic climate. I hate that beef has become so affordable for everyone. The silver lining is that due to high market prices all the producers will be retaining female cattle to turn into mamas cows for more income and the herd should grow. This will begin easing prices.
@@realwildwildwest ya that always keeps me awake knowing I have live animals on sometimes I can't sleep at night when I know I got load in the morning get to excited lol sounds silly I know 🤪
I've sometimes wondered about the last steer being prodded forward when it's the steers in front of him who are moving slow. Seems a bit unfair to blame the last guy in line for his friends being poky up ahead.

How do you decide how many go in each section of the trailer? How many sections are there?
You decide based on the weight of the cattle. This trailer has potential for 7 compartments.
