- Expert railway modeller Dave Shakespeare provides us with a guided tour of his outstanding OO gauge layout depicting his boyhood memories of the industrial West Riding - presented by Tony Wright. This DVD was originally distributed with the January 2011 issue of British Railway Modelling magazine:

A true benchmark of model making.
Two great Modellers in one Video, Dave and Tetleys Mills is still missed, thank you Tony for a great production.
Rest in peace, Dave Shakespeare.
lovely work RIP Mr Shakespear
Legendary layout. Worthy of revisiting. Alas, with his passing, it is but a memory. But what a great memory it is 🍻👍
A true benchmark of model making.
I find these videos deeply relaxing
RIP Dave Shakespeare, I meet him once at an exhibition.
These videos are great, please keep them coming!!
So weird, I found a box today of coaches I brought from the estate after Dave passed, then find this in my recommended vids here on UA-cam
Tetley Mills is a fantastic and realistic layout.
I remember seeing this years ago in one of the rail modelling mags, fantastic to see this
I have he DVD, what a fantastic layout, it just oozes the industrial North of Yorkshire and Lands, such as exotic places as Dewsbury.
i congratulate Dave on a beautiful model railway and wish him well on his new venture(s). i still have a copy of the earlier video from 'another' magazine and both that and this are very enjoyable. I hail from the 'dark satanic mills' (steel not textiles) of Rotherham, and the scenery still strikes a chord after many years as a 'Southerner'.
Glück Auf,
Beautiful.
Tetley’s Mills has been one of the best layouts that did the rounds of the model railway exhibitions!! Although it will be a great loss, a new version of Tetley’s Mill might be even better.
Seems to only be available in 360p or less. No 720p? I'm sure we are missing some fabulous detail at 360.
Saw parts of tetley Mills being sold at an exhibition, Tony Wright was selling it off for the family. Sooo sad. Dave taken too soon.
I always thought the glue used in ply wood kills woodworm. Fantastic layout drooled over pictures in magazines
