Could you do ,,5 minutes alone,, by pantera pls
Thank you so much for doing this one man. Cliff was the best. A true gift to the world.
Cliff was a Musical genius and one of the best to ever touch a bass. He was taken way too soon.
Newsted filled his shoes and then some
Could not even imagine what might of been 🤷
@@mikemaloney2607 not then some, just did a great job and put his signature style on full display
Cliffs stage presence is unreal. He brought a bad ass swagger to Metallica. A “don’t fuck with us” attitude. Every band knew it.
Brian McAndrew hell yeah
Right don't fuck with anyone thrashing there dome piece that recklessly .. ever
More like a don't fuck with me attitude, Lars found out the hard way a couple of times trying to start up against Cliff. Not to mention Cliff had always carried a hammer around wherever he went.
This really depicts the personality of the legend that was Cliff Burton, truly unique and passionate bass player. James and Lars saw him do his live bass solo once and they were ready to move their entire lives from LA to SF, with no money, to start a fresh band with this man... and they did not regret it one bit. Rest in peace Cliff!
Cliff was the melody man of Metallica. He was a great writer and musician. And is greatly appreciated and missed!
Metallica at is prime 👍👍
R.I.P. Cliff !
He never left his prime
R.I.P. Cliff!
So I’m a graduate student . I went into my professors office one day with a Metallica shirt on and next thing you know we spent 15 minutes talking about how much we both love Metallica and he saw them live in 1985 ! I told him I was so jealous of him lol I saw them live for the first time last year during the Hardwired to Self Destruct album tour.
I received this" cliff em all " on VHS as a Christmas gift in 1988 i think .. My friend and i found it when i was snooping through the presents.. i unwrapped it and we watched it before Christmas .. i then wrapped it back up, put it back and acted surprised on Christmas morning.😅😂
There's no one out there that can touch Cliff Burton on Bass, he was a Unique Bass player with his own style he would still be in Metallica unfortunately he died on the road on the Tour Bus in the early 80s the band where sleeping it was night time there was an accident and Cliff was Thrown out of the Window and onto the Road and run over talented Musician taken way to early!
R. I. P Cliff
Steve Harris of Iron Maiden for technical abilities and stage presence can maybe touch him. MAYBE.
You gotta react to Anaesthesia (Pulling Teeth). A solo bass peice by Cliff that's truly amazing
i like how this guy doesnt pause every 10 seconds to say somethings and just reacts as it plays out
Cliff did a bass solo that will blow ur mind
I been rockin to Metallica for 31 yrs....getting old. I enjoy ur channel. I love this song! Happy Fathers Day!
In a time when everybody wanted to be a singer or a guitar player, here came Cliff Burton to change that, as with many bass players including myself he's the reason I picked up a bass and learned the instrument. Burton was a very accomplished musician when he joined Metallica. He had formal music education and surpassed several of his teachers. He loved Bach and he taught James and Kirk a lot about melody, harmonies and overall music arrangement. To this day I still love to play along to Metallica songs and For Whom the Bell Tolls is one of my favorites. It's easy to play but the song really gets to you. It's a tragedy how Cliff died and how young he was, just when Metallica was becoming the monster it now is.
Cliff will forever be my favorite Metallica member.
Cliff Burton Live Chicago 1983-Anesthesia
You need to check out Metallica Pulling Teeth (Anesthesia)
Just think how young they were at this time and still produce this quality of music.
Cliff Burton...The Legend, The Master
In total agreement with you.... I had the distinct pleasure of seeing him do ' For whom the bell tolls' on 3 different occasions, he was a Bass GOD!!! This is the one I always recommend ...CLIFF EM' ALL!!!!!!!!!
Awesome dude. Thank you
The man knew how to bend those strings.
Good reaction. I saw them open for Ozzie in '85. Based on your "gear" (numerous videos), you must be in PG County (where I grew up). Keep rocking, I'm subscribed.
he was ssooooooo good that they gave him the opening while they have james and the ripper on board
RIP Cliff 🤘
I need a solar panel set up like th eone you got ma man!!
They were babies then. Forget how young they were at the beginning 😮
You should definitely react to The Thing That Should Not Be By Metallica (Live Seattle 1989)! It's only a few years later but it's insane!
In memorian CLIFF BURTON,🤟❤️🇮🇩 the 1st METALLICA bass player
May cliff rest in peace
CLIFF all I can say ❤️❤️❤️❤️
4:02 😁
Pls do ,,5 minutes alone,, by pantera
Cliff was undoubtedly one of the big innovators of bass. Such a fantastic player and writer.
Please react to Who Can I Be Now? by David Bowie. It'll hit you right in the feels.
React to Ride the lighting from the same show.
Stuff of this era makes me feel like a kid again. Dead in the middle of arguably the best four album streak by a metal band. You couldn't really "replace" Cliff Burton but I'd say they did the best they could.
Check out Nervosa-into mosh pit! Their a all female thrash metal band from South America!!!
Heineken 🐐🐐🐐
Do the day that never comes by metallica please 🙏
I wonder what you would make of Metallica's project with the San Francisco symphony orcheatra, aka S&M. Lots of metalheads balk at it but I think it's beautiful.
This song is one of their best. On par with Walk by Pantera for general excellence and head bangability. RIP Cliff Burton. Gods apparently can be killed.
Metallica - Halo on Fire
When Metallica write guitar solo like slayer
HTTR!
I was there (8/31/85). Scorpions/Ratt/Y&T/Metallica/Rising Force (Yngwie)/Victory. Metallica destroyed every other band there not-named Scorpions.
Why is it for whom the bell trolls?
For Whom the Bell Trolls? XD
Bet you didn’t know a bass could scream so much lol
Hetfield's guitar is out of tune. I miss playing live.
Metallica - Crash Course In Brain Surgery( Budgie cover)
Dude start a band
Did he seriously not notice he flipped someone off because they threw something at him 4:02
All the times ive seen this i didnt notice it either lol
Check Gene Simmons bass solo
like 30 years late, are we? LOL
you are a dark skin person but i believe you are a nice human being
Megadeth - Five magics original version
Hey producer. Haven't dropped in since your birthday. Hope alls well. This song and Until it Sleeps are 2 of my favs. Although, Holier Than Thou, should be relevant now more than ever. Rock on!!!
