Need to include the walk up to Jefferson rock - great stone carved steps and good view of the rivers. If you have energy the view from the Maryland Heights trail of the city is fabulous and special

Thanks so much for commenting, we really appreciate it and hope that you get there. It's a really charming town with something for everyone between the history, hiking, cute shops and restaurants. We stayed 3 nights, which worked out well, and had time to spend several hours at nearby Antietam battlefield. Please subscribe to see more interesting small towns
Glad you enjoyed the video. It's very rich with history with a lot of outdoor activities and cute stores and restaurants. Check out our other videos with the Appalachian Trail and Maryland Heights

Hasn't grown much at all for it's still mostly a historical tourist attraction but looks like there are few local residents still living there for I guess they are mostly retired people !!
Used to go there often. Love it. A great place to visit.
If you ever get the chance to go there. Do it.
Hi, thanks so much for watching the video and commenting. It's a great place!
Harper's Ferry is one of my favorite places to visit. I've been there many times since my first visit in 1982.
That was our first visit, we'll definitely be going back too. Thanks so much for watching our video and taking the time to comment

At 0:40. That stone building to the right looks abandoned, but there was an "Open" sign in front? 🤔
