Hi, Arnel! I've got 18/18. And these are my answers for other questions you asked.. During Amber's birthday party, we played a video of her school friends wishing her for her birthday. I didn't take any notes during yesterday's lesson. During exams, I often drink water to keep myself hydrated. Yesterday, I happened to meet my old friend during my lunch break. I can hold my breath for 15-20 seconds. I've lived in this city for 6 months now. Last night I slept for 8 hours.
Thanks Teacher for this great lesson!! My results: During example sentences: During Ambers birthday party, we talk about the past. I was working during yesterday lesson. During exams, I try to answer firs the easier questions. For example sentences: I can hold my breath for 20 seconds. I've lived in this city for 10 years. Last night I slept for six hours. Final Test: 11/18 I choose the wrong answers in the questions: 3, 7, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18
Nice examples Dalton! *....we talkED about the past. (the present simple only works if you regularly talk about the past at Amber's parties) ..yesterday's lesson. ...answer the easier questions first. I hope the answers for the test helped you understand the questions that you missed :)
Hi Arnel, Here are my answers of your four practice question: 1. During Amber’s birthday party, we cut the cake. 2. I fell asleep during yesterday’s lesson 3. During exams, students are not allowed to talk to each other. 4. I avoid taking with others during my lunch break. > Answers for second exercise: 1. I can hold my breath for 1 minute. 2. I’ve lived in this city for three years. 3. Last night I slept for eight hours. I hope these sentences are correct!
I got 18 correct out of 18 in the test. What you missed in this lesson is using "over" as a preposition of time. I've noticed many use "over" when talking about long duration; for example: A lot has changed over the last three months. "Over the last three months", "in the last three months" and "during the last three months" --- Which one is correct? Is there any subtle difference in meaning?
Great lesson🎉Maybe you could give information on an example how to write an analysis with regard to communicative strategies etc. or how to write effectively an summary of an article. Your teaching style is simple the best!❤
Great score Gunay! "Throughout" is used for longer periods. "During" is usually used for shorter or more specific periods. So, for sentence 13, "throughout" is the correct option :)
during amber's birthday party, we drank many kinds of alcoholic beverages brands. we stayed inside classroom due to freezing weather during yesterday's lesson During exams, we all went to the library to practice different exercises for the exam
as an indestructible rule...good job. It is nearly a sin that you can't learn throughtout the stream with Arnel. she is chopping over and over again until you get catching it. were you to be a bit overwhelmed with the information, you could take the stream in two parts, with a break for 15 minutes for easing your brain.
