      @@ArnelsEverydayEnglish Good afternoon. I'm reading a novel, where I encounter strange speech forms with DO, which I show below. Tell me, are they now used in modern English or not? If yes, then tell us about them. 1. Intimate as you are, you must know how it is to be done."
      "But upon my honour, I do not. I DO assure you that my intimacy has not yet taught me that. 2. I hope I never ridicule what is wise and good.
      Follies and nonsense, whims and inconsistencies, DO divert me, I own, and I laugh at them whenever I can. 3. I DO think it is the hardest thing in the world, that your estate should be entailed away from your own children. 4. My dearest Lizzy, DO but consider in what a disgraceful light it places Mr. D.

      being teacher doesn't pay the bills. concise ( literally the same in spain) we say "don't walk by the branches" ( no te andes por las ramas) go to the point.(don't beat around the bush) good job. In fact most of the verbs are absolutely similars like the Spanish one. Console for example. The more I cope with the English the more similar spanish words I fount out on them.

    I did 20 out of 20….
    It was kinda easy for me because some new verbs look like Portuguese. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
    Console = consolar
    Confide= confiar
    Inconvenience= inconveniência
    Elaborate= elaborar
    Accommodate = acomodar
    Involve= envolver
    Concise = conciso
    Inherit = herdar ( more or less ) Etc.
    That’s why I love English. Latin words everywhere

    In my opinion, building strong vocabulary is crucial for being clear and concise when speaking/writing. The way I see it, to be able to use the best fitting words in any given situation is the key to success in mastering the language. I love the grammar part, yet I have to give advantage to vocabulary in this particular case. :) Yeah, anyways, thank you for the great video, Arnel! Greetings from Bulgaria :)
