Thank you for making this so short and to the point, no extra long intro or 20 minutes of buildup before showing the method! I've just started my wavy/curly hair journey, and I'm trying this right now.
Thank you! I had to rewind it a couple of times, but I'm now plopping for the first time. Not really curly hair on my head, but it's been a wavy/straight half-and-half kind of thing. Hoping to enhance my natural waves.
Lately, I've been wanting to take better care of my curly hair and bring it out a lot more, and thankfully, I stumbled across this video :) Thank you so much for making this tutorial and making it easy to follow
I plopped for the first time this morning and used your smiling techniques. Wow!!!! My hair has so much less wet frizz and is looking great. Thank you so much
Trying this now, got it wrapped in a T-shirt, wish me luck! I'm a dude with shoulder length wavy hair, I'm hoping this tames the frizz. Thanks for making this video straight to the point and easy to follow.
Your voice is so soothing! Thank you for getting right to the point and just explaining things as you go! Appreciate how straight forward you are and that you even showed both ways! Easy to follow! I'll be trying this tonight! Thanks! 💖
There's no right or wrong way to do it, this method is just what I have found to be easiest/looks the least silly haha! So glad you found the video helpful! 😊
Hahaha same, but I've just been my way through it- different & disasterous each & every time. Just like "how am I supposed to get the hair in here & nothing is big enough and I'm blinded by hair & also maybe parts of whatever t-shirt materialed thing I've decided to subject my head to at the moment"...& it is an ongoing frustrating & actually sort of emotionally painful disaster that ends in rough, raw, exasperated bellowing like 75% of the time. But then I remembered not only that the internet exists, and there's also this whole video-y place you can go fulla tutorials (...here. right exactly here where we all are: this place that's existed for what like 15, 20 years ffs? Hahaha)...BUT ALSO I keep swearing I'm gonna watch some gd videos before I wash my hair again & oh wow it's been a year and I'm finally doing it. F YEAH! YAYEH! :::high fives the wall too hard::: Also ok so this hair wrapping method is the most logical, simple thing ever & I have chosen to laugh (instead of cry or punch myself in my own clavicle like a rabid idiot w/emotional problems) at the fact that I have never once come anywhere near pulling this method in the video off despite my approach changing every single time & the fact that afaik, I ostensibly have an at least *partially* functioning human brain. But uhh wrap it neatly using the sleeves already there? Did that very obvious & graceful solution occur to me or even just accidentally occur bc i mean come on there's only so many ways to not-stupidly fold a t-shirt around yr head, right? But nooo I just kinda mashed a shirt on there, somehow using the neck hole around my scalp, and then I'd find a way to like bring clips (that don't work) & sometimes a second scarf (that also doesn't work bc come on like wtf is going on here why) into the situation so that I can have half of my hair covered & the rest splapping all over the place flickin cold slimy water everywhere & making everything so terrible. Just the absolutely stupidest & most ridiculous approach: I did a new version of that every however often for a year HAHAHACFJCJ Bc I am stupid. Anyway, thank you for this extremely convenient video & for saving me from myself...and also ty to anyone who hung on for this long-winded self-crap-talking diatribe of giggly frustration. Please enjoy feeling deeply, profoundly smarter than me if that sorta thing charms yr pickle, bc you obviously are as I've been all but taping a napkin to my head & affixing 5 randomly acquired bobby pins to the napkin &/or my hair for some reason (these do nothing but piss me off so it's a good thing I keep doing it) & expecting that to dry my extremely long hair. FML. ❤ I love you. Ok bye.
Thank you so much for this video. I don't plopp often. When I do, I draw a blank!😮 Your video has saved me on several occasions. I pray you-tube never takes this down.
No towel at all as you get out of the shower? I noticed your hair wasn’t heavy and dripping with water - my wet hair would saturate a tee shirt within seconds. Do you use a second tee shirt as a first round?
Seriously, thank you for making a simple video for a simple technique. Every other video I watched was basically like watching "100 steps on how to tie your shoes" and still end up kind of confused 🤦 Some hereos don't wear capes. They wear tshirts on their head. 😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️😂
I cannot "plop" my hair to save my life. It's about shoulder length when it's freshly curly. My tee is always facing the other direction and my hair ends up all smooshed down on the top. You made that look way easier. I'm definitely going to try that! Your lighting is so natural and beautiful. What do you use?
Aw! I was really hoping you’d have a small peek at your hair once it was dry! But thank you!! I was looking for a quick plopping vid to share with my friend just starting on her curly girl journey and this is perfect!! 😍🥰💯💯
Hi there. I am knew to the journey of embracing my natural curl and so glad I found you to help guide me. My hair is very much the same curl pattern and length. Question for you, do you color your hair and if so does that hurt your curl at all?
i got blue highlights in my hair and i had to bleach it for the color to show and it doesn’t affect my curl pattern at all but it does cause dryness and frizz. use a lot of conditioner and moisturizing products. i did the very ends of my hair so i could chop it off eventually. i wouldn’t recommend dying the roots
I'm almost 30, have curly hair, and have never in my life known how to get nice, frizz-less curls. I found this technique on tik tok and came to UA-cam for an explanation. I have to try this tonight!
Hi just wanted to leave a quick comment. I have a nose/brow that looks a lot like yours. I was always very insecure about it esp from the side profile. But seeing it on you, it is so gorgeous 😍 you have helped me appreciate it so much more so thank you!!
Thank You! Thank You! I’ve watched countless other videos and I could not get the technique. You explained so, thoroughly and precisely what to do I got it while following you along the first time! 🙏❤️👌🏼🥰🙌🏼
this is the first time i’ve tried this and i’ve never seen my hair curly, i really hope i like what it looks like in the morning so i’m not late to school
I have natural 2C hair, once I found this I instantly tried it hoping it will define my curls, though I used to have 3B curls when I was little from age 1-12, I'm almost 18 now and trying to bring back my 3B curls as close as I can, but they losend to said 2C curls, either way I'm very excited for the results tomorrow!!
Thank you so much!! I'm pretty sure my hair has some sort of curl pattern and I'm finally trying to figure out what it is lol so this video helped a lot!!
About how long do you keep your curls plopped in your T-shirt? I'm trying to do more natural processes on my hair right now unless I'm going someplace special and I'll blow it out but during the week I work from home and I would like to do more natural processes for my hair and use my natural curl. It's not like kinky curly or tight curls but sort of loose curls.
Thank you so much, I've been trying to get my plop right for ages, your video is the only one I've been able to instantly follow!! ❤️ Also I absolutely adore the colour of your t shirt, where's it from? X
How do you refresh your hair in the morning on days you don't wash. I only wash once a week, or even less sometimes, and it looks awful in the morning. All I can do is a spritz then it gets frizzy.
I came across your at home hair cut video a few months ago during lockdown when I was in desperate need of a cut. You have a similar curl pattern to me so it was the best video for me... Excited to see that you're making videos again. Would love to see more in the future. 😃❤️
Thank you for sharing this! I recently discovered that my hair is wayyyy more wavy/curly than I thought. I’m trying to naturally style it and I had no clue how to dry it. I’m gonna try sleeping in it and see what happens!
Try fanning your curls out starting at your ear lobes instead of letting all of your curls clump all together at the top of your head. This should give the back curls enough space to spring up. (Hopefully that makes sense ☺️)

wow really i am doing it for the first time now, how long did it take you? normally to air dry my hair it takes 3 hr
@@-lavender-777 My hair takes about 5-6 hours to completely air dry. It is super thick
@@janebilleter5299 wow, and with plopping more or less?
