Thank you for making this so short and to the point, no extra long intro or 20 minutes of buildup before showing the method! I've just started my wavy/curly hair journey, and I'm trying this right now.

Hahaha same, but I've just been my way through it- different & disasterous each & every time. Just like "how am I supposed to get the hair in here & nothing is big enough and I'm blinded by hair & also maybe parts of whatever t-shirt materialed thing I've decided to subject my head to at the moment"...& it is an ongoing frustrating & actually sort of emotionally painful disaster that ends in rough, raw, exasperated bellowing like 75% of the time.
But then I remembered not only that the internet exists, and there's also this whole video-y place you can go fulla tutorials (...here. right exactly here where we all are: this place that's existed for what like 15, 20 years ffs? Hahaha)...BUT ALSO I keep swearing I'm gonna watch some gd videos before I wash my hair again & oh wow it's been a year and I'm finally doing it. F YEAH! YAYEH! :::high fives the wall too hard:::
Also ok so this hair wrapping method is the most logical, simple thing ever & I have chosen to laugh (instead of cry or punch myself in my own clavicle like a rabid idiot w/emotional problems) at the fact that I have never once come anywhere near pulling this method in the video off despite my approach changing every single time & the fact that afaik, I ostensibly have an at least *partially* functioning human brain. But uhh wrap it neatly using the sleeves already there? Did that very obvious & graceful solution occur to me or even just accidentally occur bc i mean come on there's only so many ways to not-stupidly fold a t-shirt around yr head, right? But nooo I just kinda mashed a shirt on there, somehow using the neck hole around my scalp, and then I'd find a way to like bring clips (that don't work) & sometimes a second scarf (that also doesn't work bc come on like wtf is going on here why) into the situation so that I can have half of my hair covered & the rest splapping all over the place flickin cold slimy water everywhere & making everything so terrible. Just the absolutely stupidest & most ridiculous approach: I did a new version of that every however often for a year HAHAHACFJCJ
      Bc I am stupid.
Anyway, thank you for this extremely convenient video & for saving me from myself...and also ty to anyone who hung on for this long-winded self-crap-talking diatribe of giggly frustration. Please enjoy feeling deeply, profoundly smarter than me if that sorta thing charms yr pickle, bc you obviously are as I've been all but taping a napkin to my head & affixing 5 randomly acquired bobby pins to the napkin &/or my hair for some reason (these do nothing but piss me off so it's a good thing I keep doing it) & expecting that to dry my extremely long hair. FML. ❤
      I love you. Ok bye.

i got blue highlights in my hair and i had to bleach it for the color to show and it doesn’t affect my curl pattern at all but it does cause dryness and frizz. use a lot of conditioner and moisturizing products. i did the very ends of my hair so i could chop it off eventually. i wouldn’t recommend dying the roots

I'm trying to do more natural processes on my hair right now unless I'm going someplace special and I'll blow it out but during the week I work from home and I would like to do more natural processes for my hair and use my natural curl. Sakina Kharrubi could it be the stickiness of the gel? Thanks!

B G could be? I have really thin hair so that’s not an issue for me lol.. but that could be a factor for thick hair.. honestly I noticed just focusing on my hair’s needs it helped with all my problems!

Do you happen to know if a microfiber towel/turbie twist absorbs too much water compared to a tshirt? Thanks!

Those are also really good for your hair! They shouldn't absorb too much water like a regular old cotton towel would.

So I am just realizing after years of dreads and matted hair that I have wavy or curly hair! So you know what curl type you have?! We have very similar hair! What kind of products do you use? Thank you :)
