Recently traveled with Air India and found the roll much better than the previously served meals on any Air India flights. No complains of Chai too. I am scared Air India doesn't change back their food to old one after seeing this video
last week we travelled on a new plane of Air India(premium economy) , and the experience was absolute stunning , the new planes with very premium interior, luxurious seating, well mannered crew, and most imp- delicious food , so many options like Indian, Continental , Italian etc. I am fully convinced Air India is going to give tough time to other International players like Emirates , Qatar or Singapore .

I went from India to Canada by Air India a few months back. It was still so delayed - almost 7-8 hrs. The quality of the cabins were not good either, the walls were cracked, the seat upholstery had fibres coming out. Despite being delayed by that long they didn't offer us any food or tell us why the plane was being delayed. I am so annoyed by their service
I fly frequently via indigo, recently been flying in air india and I love it. You get a full meal for every flight. No need to pay extra for that. That itself is a huge thing. And whenever I got the meal, it was above average
One of that planes you filmed at the start of the video is actually a new plane from the 470 plane order. It is a a321 Neo, air India has a321 Ceos but they are much older
I agree. Few months back I used air India. The staff were nice and yes new planes have been ordered but the food from US to India flight particularly from Newark to Bombay was not good. Don’t know who they gave the contract but I saw many passengers didn’t enjoy the food.

Air India experience is way bad still. I travelled from Trivandrum to Vancouver via Delhi in September this year and the flight from Delhi was delayed by 7 hrs resulting in me walking inside Delhi airport without sleep and food overnights from 9 pm till 10:30 am next morning. Air India didn’t provide accommodation, they just gave a meal pass for 6 am at a restaurant in Delhi airport and I had to roam around in the airport for 2 hrs to figure out what’s happening with my flight as no one in Air India were giving clear answers. Helpdesk was always routing me to checkin counters which was packed with people and when I get my chance to speak to the agent after being in queue, they said go and say this to the Helpdesk. Never travelling in Air India again💔
Honestly, Air India was elite back in the day when my dad travelled. Now, I’m not too sure as they have a lot more trust and customers to catch up on! I’ll keep an eye out for your updates to see if it’s nearly worth it. I’d rather take any other flight, even if I have to link flights at the moment.
