To anyone reading this don't make the same mistake as I did and not check to make sure the black horn clips are clipped back in because when the airbag is clipped back in it will keep the horn on until your horns burn out! Also make sure the chip cannot slide in between the airbag and horn clip because this will also result in you replacing the horns.🤣
I have V12 on my 2019 model 3 now, and this still works really well. When with the setting for automatic speed. (Automatic doesn't display a set speed, but this chip still makes its adjustments, and I don't have to grab the steering wheel to satisfy the nag)
I just installed and when I go to set changes to be random like you do near the end with the 4 different settings I only have 3 levels available when I am selecting with the knob not the 4 needed to get the 4th random one. Any ideas? Thanks
Okay, I was told that you could test if the chip will work with your car by satisfying the steering wheel prompt, simply by scrolling one of the scroll wheels. Well, I tried that when the prompt appeared, but it still asks me to pull the steering wheel. So, will that chip work on my LR 2019 EU normal Autopilot version?
If the nag comes up because the camera sees you not paying attention, you have to touch the steering wheel. Like looking down, or out the window, etc. When the nag comes up that is the "typical" nag that is confirmhat's what you need to test the scroll wheel with. If you turn either scroll wheel up and down and it doesn't turn off the typical nag, then this chip wouldn't work.

You'll just have to do your own Google search for this chip if you don't want to get it from Ali. I think I saw some on Amazon for a lot more money. Also the chip is looking for the double click by itself, So it does not interfere with the voice command that the car is doing. For example, if I double click while driving, The chip will turn on and off, AND The voice command pops up on the screen. Everything works just fine. Just understand once you turn it on, you won't have to ever turn it back on again, thus you don't have to worry about interfering with other typical car commands.

You don’t show how to do the most important and hardest part which for me was unplugging and plugging in the harness to the back side of the scroll wheel.
I guess that wasn't hard for me so I didn't see the need to show. What were your struggles with unplugging the blue harness and plugging the chip harness back in?
@@TeslaMatt1108 The chip harness to the back side of the school wheel. I guess my fingers are too big and I couldn’t see what I was trying to actually do. I had trouble lining it up to go back in correctly. I did get it and it works great. Thanks.
@@charlieshell4031 Glad you got it. I could see it being tricky if you have bigger hands. If anyone else has this issue, maybe gently using a needle nose or right angle tweezers to help line up the harness and help see what you are doing. I have seen other reviews where people removed the scroll wheel and bracket for more access. But I just didn't need to go that far.
Some company as the link I sent? They have been very responsive to me. At first they were telling me I couldn't put it on the right scroll wheel, but it has been working great for me for a while now.
Dude, please stop promoting this product, it does not work, 1st gen - 2nd gen, it makes no difference. Steering wheel inputs no longer override AP antinag.
It's been working on my 2019. Steering wheel scroll wheel does satisfy the hands on wheel nagging. Scroll wheel works on my friends 2023, and my neighbors 2021 Y. The camera will still nag at you if you using your phone, so this isn't meant to allow you to not pay attention.
Do not do this. First of all it’s dangerous. The car requires you to be attentive for a reason. Second if the car detects ANY type of device such as this one you will be PERMANENTLY locked out of FSD. Tesla won’t care it you bought FSD out right and paid 12k. You will still be locked out and WILL NOT GET A REFUND!
Def not true. Camera still makes sure I'm not in my phone. And camera is still watching my to make sure I'm not looking down or out the side windows. You think having a weight on the steering wheel is any different? Tesla isn't banning people from FSD because of a weight or a chip.
@SlugZzSs I use the weight. I got the magnetic one that was like 94 bucks over the velcro. It works as intended. No more nag. Now if I could figure out how to fool the interior cam. I think tesla is making things more dangerous by making people avoid it entirely. All they need to do is relax these things just a bit.

Still working perfectly. Did a 50 min drive thru downtown and never had to touch the steering wheel. No side effects at all.

Ordered and it didn't work. Sent me a faulty chip & customer service is Chinese as expected no help thus far...

I got the latest v12.3.4 today and it's still working perfectly.
it works for my with EAP on my TM32018, but when i activate the self lane change it doesnt work bc it ask to hold the wheel to change lanes.
Still works fine even on latest firmware pushing out now.
