I also want to let you know that Gary Grigsby war in the pacific is on sale on matrix games for 16$ which may be a more rewarding time investment than this game
You have pushed Omniman? but he is immovable... Third icon on the bottom of his card. There is Unavoidable Knocback, Blindspot and Immovable (or maybe called by another word, but it prevents him to be pushed). I did the same mistake while battling him...
Not really, if anything I'm liking it less because I'm experiencing even more crew loss and hull damage due to random events. The battles also seem more chaotic and random. For example, the 'ambrosia tokens' can instantly kill my titans. I'm investing in tech to reduce that, but it's just another random element to deal with. And this 'traitor' idea, despite it not affecting me, just seems silly.
@@WiseGuyHistory this game really sounds like it has an identity crisis and can’t decide weather it wants to be a table top rpg, a dungeon crawler, or xcom like
I did a bit more digging and it seems my deduction of influences was pretty spot on “It’s a unique experience, merging ideas inspired by video games like XCOM, Dark Souls, Monster Hunter and the jrpg genre with modern tabletop board games, like KDM or 7th Continent.” Into the unknown
Monster Hunter seems to influence/inform the equipment and character progression due to having a lot of gear that feels really similar to use just looking different
Dark souls seems to inform cyoa elements in that decisions made in the first few hours of gameplay can have massive impacts on the way the story plays out.

Are you liking it more than cycle one also what happens if you draw the traitor card in single play just out of curiosity
