I’ve never tried with shrimp, I have to try this. I don’t like the sweetness of green peas so as an alternative I use frozen baby green Lima beans, it’s so good

Hey Mimi! Yesssssss those Lima beans are sooooooo delicious. I actually use to only use frozen Lima beans until I went to a local Haitian restaurant that used the sweet peas and I fell in love with it so I started alternating between the two. You can get the plain green peas without it saying sweet that will help with the sweetness. I've use that once and it's not that sweet. Let me know if you try it, thanks for watching love 💕

Happy New Year Tita! I add thyme to my rice also but just not this rice and not sure why lol I just don't. The pot is the master class collection. I got it from Marshalls. You can also find them at your local department stores like tjmax, homegoods and Ross if you're located in America. I will be more than happy to make steam turkey! I make steam turkey atleast twice a month 😋

Hello Paule, the rice I made in this video is called Mahatma rice. Any rice will work well with this recipe. I personally love Jasmine rice it comes in a clear bag with green on it and yellow elephants. Or the Jasmine Mahatma blend in a clear and purple bag. You can find them at Walmart, Publix or any grocery store in your area. Thanks for watching 💕
