Absolutely stunning old girl!!! My partner has an old HG he’s restored, still has to paint the old girl but otherwise done (apart from cosmetics). I’ll have to do a video sometime to show you all 😊
Was that back in the day Gavin? Do you wish you still had it? We'll be selling ours soon so we can start another project! Cheers for stopping by. Have a great week
I can’t remember how many HD/Rs I had. Preferred the three speed over the Powerglide. Wasn’t much difference in power between the 149, 161, 179 and 186, although the X2 version had a little more get up and go. Very basic car although the electric rear window is an unusual option. Looks pretty good apart from the rusty tail gate and the rusty bottom of the guards etc. but we didn’t get a peek at the Y frames. Rust was their greatest enemy. Keep the rust at bay and these things will go forever.

Although I'm not a Holden guy I still highly approve of anybody showing some love to an old station wagon, give it a new life!
