@@justiceforjamespaulmccartneyFunny you should say that. I was at school in Essex when a Stop Press in the Evening Standard stated PM had been killed. We were all in shock but then it was retracted. It is odd that he supposedly went off to Africa for a 'holiday' and the Beatles immediately stopped touring. I've got 'before and after' photos that show it could have been two different people. So, you may well be right.
@@ChristineRead-ck1uqI’m glad you know the truth. I actually heard the same breaking news in Chicago, well the adults heard and told us. We were devastated.
The video covered everything, thank you very much. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to see the Beatles live on stage or in movies, videos in the Eastern Bloc (Romania). You can imagine that I memorized many Beatles songs without even speaking English, and later when I moved to the Free World and learned English, I understood the meaning of those songs. I went with my son Paul twice to Paul's concerts in Chicago in 2002, at that time he was with Heather Mills. And of course we visited Liverpool and his house at 20 Forthlin Road
I think you are not fair towards Nancy. She is gorgeous and a very very stable woman, putting up superbly with all the pressures and comments coming from all sides, including this video. Remember that she could have made her live much more simple if she just chose someone else for her husband.
I loved Linda ~ ❤ she gave Paul unconditional love and supported his artistic bent without fuss. I loved that they lived in Scotland…Mull Kintyre I still get goosebumps when I watch them there. A down to earth special love. ❤❤❤
Paul is an incurable romantic. He could have saved some money by having a prenuptual agreement with Heather Mills but he thought she was in love with him, not his money. The third one Nancy gets along with his kids and is rich herself so hopefully this will last for the rest of his life as it is way too late for another marriage.

Paul wanted Jane to tour with him, he hinted he might be lonely if she didn’t, she said I have my own career, Paul was true to his word and cheated on her, because of this Jane ended the engagement. This is why Linda always toured with Paul.
Lonely as in sexually needy. True to his word in that he was essentially saying, I’ll have sex with others as you’re not there. That’s dog behavior without self control as if a couple has to cling on to each other in order to prevent that as Paul & Linda did-that’s no trust right there if you’re always thinking about sex instead of your girl & the fact that you’re engaged. McCartney even had Peggy Lipton come to see him from afar instead of him coming to see her only for her to find him w/Linda when she arrived. All shenanigans!
Linda magnifique personne ,artiste avéré, surtout jolie femme, jolie maman,la femme dans toute sa splendeur, l'élégance ,elle fait toujours partie de nous comme les Beatles
This is where I stop and try to remember how Paul really feels about Linda I don't want the interfere with that That's why he loves the way he loves and holy loves is his business no one else's this is a great man he needs to be protected You must understand this man first. Maybe someday he'll find another love but will fulfill him this person that he finds will protect him and find him the most loved person people know.
Linda had many things going for her that contributed to Paul’s success. She was an artist in her own right. She understood what Paul needed. Paul was breaking up with Jane and with John… and John being the more significant break of the two. Linda had the maturity to figure out relationships. While I like Jane, I don’t think at the time of the Beatles‘ break-up she had the maturity to navigate those waters. I always had the feeling Linda was the love of his life. Jane might have been more glamorous, but that hardly ever factors in in true love. Linda was a good looking woman, and very smart! I always liked her. Paul’s one huge mistake quite obviously was Heather. Maybe he wanted the pain he felt over Linda‘s passing to ease. But what he got was a bigger pain. While not having Linda around any longer, I believe he now has the married life that he needs: a wonderful companion who doesn’t need to be in the limelight, who understands she doesn’t need to be the love of his life. She’s married to a great man, he’s married to a great woman. They support each other. It’s as good as it gets! I wish them nothing but the best!
@igzuniga Yoko One was a home wrecker (while she was already married to someone else who she abandoned along with their daughter, as was John Lennon also married and who likewise abandoned his 1st son Julian). She was a talentless poseur, a heartless grifter posing as a performance artist who domineered the weak-minded John Lennon's listless lazy life till the day he died, destroying the Beatles in their wake. She sapped away any creative inspiration he'd had and destroyed any synergy John had with Paul McCartney a creative writing team. None of Lennon's post-Beatles work held up the way his Beatles-era compositions did. Yoko Ono was Lennon's Svengali, his self-anointed Wallis Simpson (a counterpoint to a weak, feckless, irresponsible Edward VIII). When Lennon was murdered, she didn't give 1 cent to Cynthia or Julian Lennon. The cold hearted, uninspired, drugged-up shell of a man that Lennon became after meeting Yoko Ono ended with him willing everything to Yoko Ono. Compare that to the class and the synergy that Paul and Linda had. He had a prolific writing period at least through his Wings years. Starting in 2002, he's been a touring icon for over 20 years belting out the best of his Beatles compositions as well as the best of his Wings material. Paul & Linda raised down to earth, talented children who became their own people. You could argue that Julian Lennon had a brief bout with recording success. Sean Lennon is a leech just like his mother as well as the the heir to the John Lennon estate when the "almost-dead" 90-something y/o Yoko Ono finally dies.
probably because of the love of music bond they shared together. They were compatible musically and emotionally and this complemented Paul's music career rather than stifling it.

Lots of misinformation in a single video. It is not even possible to number them all because they are too many. And, come on, I have serious doubts he said Linda was the love of her life. He would not be so rude to his wife. Because that would be a total disrespect to Nancy. Paul is a gentleman. He would never say to the world, though Nancy is his wife, he doesn't love her same way as he loved Linda. Gosh, Nancy would ask for divorce after that.
Her dad had songs written for his daughters and hers, "Linda", became "our song" as well for all us Linda born around the same time. RIP sister Linda...

Mutual respect of course. Linda was a home maker Paul was obviously very happy. She became integral part of his band wings. When I saw them in March 1993 Adelaide oval it was a magnificent concert. Linda on keyboards there harmonies were wonderful. Beatles songs entwined with wings effortlessly flowing. Drive my car, let me roll it, silly love songs etc. At that stage been married 24years. I'm glad I witnessed this great couple and band together. Extremely sad when Linda died just a few years later. Linda was the grounding force behind Paul. RIP Linda beautiful inside and out. 🙏🙏🙏♥️💙💜
I think that what is meant to be, is meant to be. If two souls are meant to meet, they will meet. Nobody on earth can stop that from happening. That has nothing to do with money and everything to do with the soul. Sadly, I think those with that much money are thrown in an area where people who can't see past money alone tend to harm others both unintentionally and intentionally. I think those who actually need money for physical reasons are not immune to the evil money can create. Yet, some think of them as if they are immune but they too have a soul that can be turned. They just also know what money can buy. In some cases, money can infact help create a normal lifespan but there is a limit to what some souls can look past because money can be taken too far. It all has to do with what the soul itself can take and what is meant to be. Even more sadly, some in society will not see past physical hardships like a missing leg and into the soul of one who has turned making it easier for them to actually harm another. I don't know if they harm meaning to or not but I DO know that Paul was never alone there. Sadly, I'm sure that some can fully relate. Linda will always be his true love though because that was meant to be. Leg or no leg, noone can ever change that fact. What is beyond this world and seriously meant to happen will infact happen, there is absolutely no changing that fact.
I loved give my regards to proud street. It was a great Beatles type movie. As for Heather the pirate well that all speaks for itself. She was a witch to say the least.
Paul was born in 1942 so he was 82 on 18th June 2024 . If you can’t get basic facts right then I’m pretty certain that this video ain’t worth watching. ? Paul loved Linda but he also loves Nancy and would not disrespect her by saying his first wife was the “love of his life “ ! He doesn’t need to say it because I think most people already know that anyway .
You ask what kept them together . Love for each other ,kept them together.Just like it does for lots of couples that are fortunate enough in love to stay together. It's a wonderful feeling to be loved and be in love.❤❤ Love is all.
Paul is a man that thrives from being married. He is a family man at heart and I'm glad he found someone to love him in his later years. Love to you Paul!
What a bloody stupid headline. Why would he 'confess' that Linda was the love of his life? Everyone already knew that. And it isn't as though it's something he would be ashamed of. The word 'confesses' is entirely inappropriate: A better word, in the context, would be 'celebrates' (that she was the love of his life).
It lasted the test of time becoz Linda was an amazing human - talented in her own right. She was a trailblazer for animal rights. There will never be another ‘Lovely Linda ! ❤
I believe that Paul and Linda had the only Beatles marriage where they were completely faithful to one-another. (Even John had his "lost weekend", where he strayed from Yoko, eventually shacking up with May Pang. for some time during the earl'y '70s.). Paul later said that the only night that he and Linda ever spent apart during their entire marriage was the night that he spent in jail after the infamous drug bust in Japan.
That’s not how the story goes w/May Pang. Lennon & Ono were not getting along in their marriage so Ono wanted a separation to rest. Knowing Lennon would use prostitutes or be with someone who would hurt Lennon & that was reportedly said by Ono, she approached Pang & asked her to be his escort so Ono was the one who arranged that so Lennon did not just run off & shack up with/Pang but they did end up getting along & had a relationship. Meanwhile, Ono was reportedly having an affair w/Sam Green, an American Art Curator, of whom she expected to marry but he was not interested in marrying her. Linda knew Paul’s track record as after all, he met Linda while he was still with Jane so she clung to him preventing him from having liaisons. For 2 people that liked to sow their oats regularly, I have to hand it to them for remaining together & raising a Family although it’s not normal to not have trust where you always have to keep track of your partner
Linda was the best wife for Paul. She stayed with him through everything from the Beatles' unceremonious disbandment to his drug-related arrests. Even though Paul remarried twice after Linda passed away, his love for her will live on forever.
You have big, wrong facts. Yes, Paul and Linda were 1. Linda helped Paul, mcmac, the way Yoko help John deal with the pain. Mcmac went to farm, J&Y, protested the war. John raged. Mcmac retreated. We are who we are. What did mcmac do upon Linda's passing? Linda passed at property in Tucson, not Santa Barbara. He retreats. HE LOVED HER. NEVER A DOUBT.

I’m glad you did finally find your soulmate. I was lucky to have found mine too.😊
They were so obviously soulmates! No one could ever take Linda's place.
Not very nice for his new wife to hear that.
Linda was a beautiful fun loving American, confident and well grounded❤
Linda was the only one he loves and it’s so beautiful he always loved her a wonderful woman and there children. God Bless You always from Robyn and family.
What a silly thing to say - "Linda was the only one he loves". Clearly not. He loved several women before Linda, as is normal when growing up and testing relationships. And he has been married for over a decade to a woman he loves, Nancy.
He will always be loved no matter who he is or who he's with I'm one of those that love him 😻
Paul was 21 in 1963 when he met Jane Asher, not 25. He was born in 1942.
Also at the time it was widely known he met Linda at his and Jane's engagement party. it was that that caused the eventual break up, apparently.
@@justiceforjamespaulmccartney The only thing you got correct was James as his real first name!
@@justiceforjamespaulmccartney I think your brain is in too much overdrive to be helpful for you!
Don't know about not fair, but she certainly deserves recognition and praise. Can't be easy, being married to Paul McCartney, all the spotlight.
I loved Linda ~ ❤ she gave Paul unconditional love and supported his artistic bent without fuss. I loved that they lived in Scotland…Mull Kintyre I still get goosebumps when I watch them there. A down to earth special love. ❤❤❤
Wrong info! Paul and Linda first met at the Bag of Nails Club in London
Jane and Peter Asher were child actors and appeared in a few Robin Hood episodes in the early 60’s.
They both truly took time to get to know each other. Then love came live..
Paul is an incurable romantic. He could have saved some money by having a prenuptual agreement with Heather Mills but he thought she was in love with him, not his money. The third one Nancy gets along with his kids and is rich herself so hopefully this will last for the rest of his life as it is way too late for another marriage.
No it isn't it's never too late for love at any age 🎉
My Grandad, widowed early in life, married at eighty four. He died at ninety six.
@loiscarrington9923 exactly proves.my point above thank you !
Linda was a solid talent in her own right. Her photography was amazing as were her recipes and books.
Not much of a singer though.

He also had a child with Heather Mills you didn't mention, plus some of your so called facts are also wrong!🙄........
Have they got his age right ...
They’ve gotten several things wrong in this video. Apparently the creator couldn’t care less about proofing; only clicks.
I think Jane Asher was a Doctors daughter. I don’t think he was sharp enough for her❗️
Jane had beauty, class, and intelligence. Paul treated her badly.
Linda was lovely i met her and Paul back in the 80s when i was a dancer in London she was down to earth and loved the fact i got most of my dance wear from a second hand place called #TheBriggit in sunny Glasgow ! She was a gen up person and funny ! We had dinner in a hotel in mayfare London together and fir those beautiful memories ill be firever thankful ...Rip Linda gbnf xx.
I know she was the love of his life, and it is hard to lose her the way he did. My best wishes to Paul always ❤🙏🌹😘
Beautiful love story ❤️
Or she found out he wasn’t the real Paul
@@juanbbien Real enough for her , it would seem.
What a lovely story.😊
There was no mention of the child Paul had with Heather. A daughter named Beatrice.
Who identifies as a man
I didn't know that.
@@eaccristo😮😮😮
Linda was already pregnant with Mary when they got married.
And Heather was pregnant with Beatrice when they got married.
What a talented man and so respect him
Linda had class, unlike Yoko Ono.
Linda was called a star fuker. She was agroupie.
@igzuniga
It can be said it’s nothing to do with English vs. Americans as that is also a comparison like Linda vs. Ono.
didn't Linda also have a daughter named Heather from her first marriage??
Wings wouldn't have been the same without Linda's backing vocals. For whatever reason, her voice "fit" those songs.
probably because of the love of music bond they shared together. They were compatible musically and emotionally and this complemented Paul's music career rather than stifling it.

It's so sad, truly Linda was his love ❤️ ❤
Lots of misinformation in a single video. It is not even possible to number them all because they are too many. And, come on, I have serious doubts he said Linda was the love of her life. He would not be so rude to his wife. Because that would be a total disrespect to Nancy. Paul is a gentleman. He would never say to the world, though Nancy is his wife, he doesn't love her same way as he loved Linda. Gosh, Nancy would ask for divorce after that.
Correct
Paul LIVED in the Asher home for several years for heaven's sake, lol.

Paul is a true Gemini. He will always feel most comfortable having a true partnership.
Lovely post.

That's right, you confess to doing something bad.
First you said he met Linda in 69 then you said he met her in in 67?

It lasted the test of time becoz Linda was an amazing human - talented in her own right. She was a trailblazer for animal rights. There will never be another ‘Lovely Linda ! ❤

She was his only wife who was a really lovely person. I wish they'd had the chance to grow old together, bet he does too...😢
This must make Nancy feel like leftovers.
He didn’t stay single very long after His love died.
He grieved heavily for 1.5 years and finally came out of depression and learned to carry on.
🤣🤣🤣🤣then married that model and had another child. Then Nancy got the old Paulie.
Pauls a good person

Linda was the best wife for Paul. She stayed with him through everything from the Beatles' unceremonious disbandment to his drug-related arrests. Even though Paul remarried twice after Linda passed away, his love for her will live on forever.
