Did you just say Kinston as in Kinston, NC my home town? Small world ❤
It’s a very small world if you know little ole kinston lol. Born and raised here ❤
Have you ever tried the decoupage iron method ? Your image has absolutely no wrinkles whatsoever ! ❤
Hey!
No I haven’t ever tried the iron on method, but I have seen other creators do it and it seems to work well if you struggle with wrinkles. I would use mod pod though not poly. The wet method really really helps me 😊 thanks for watching
Love the cabinet!
Where did you see that technique?
@@3_3645 look it up on UA-cam! You paint a layer of modge podge on piece of what you are working on ( or if it’s paper on back of paper .. let it dry … then lay down on piece how u want it to lay and put a piece of was paper or parchament paper over paper or napkin so u don’t burn it .. the iron it on and it reactivates the glue underneath! After done and it’s dry apply topcoat
Love the roster bread board
😊 thank you
I love all the pieces you made over. Thank you for sharing.

FYI: project #1 is a Pizza Peel. I guess you could use it as a cutting board though.

@@Thatsinteresting363 thank you! I just love them patina paints!!! Thanks for watching
Love the tool box, but, oh, that bread board with chickens is so gorgeous! Bailey, I would love to know where you get your supplies, since you’re local. I detest paying those high shipping rates. Besides, it would give me an excuse to ramble around. Lol. Love, love the mirror. Where is Copper Mill? Want to visit your booth!
Hey Sarah! Thanks so much
Coppermill Mercantile is in Kinston
1030 W New Bern Rd
I sell IOD Products and JRV products in both of my booths (My other booth is at Lola's Vintiques on Center St in Goldsboro) Both of the stores sell fusion paint. Unfortunately no one around here sell DIY Paint or the Patina Paints so we are stuck with ordering them online :/
Thanks so much for watching!
lUV YOUR ACCENT!
LOL thank you ❤
If you don't want the drip marks could you spray the blue or sponge on, a really textured sponge something like a sea sponge
That is a great idea.
I need to try it!
Thanks for watching
Awesome makes! NEW SUBBIE HERE 🥳
Welcome!
Thank you ❤❤
I absolutely loved all of the items. Do you have a booth? And how much time do you put in to do your pickin? Oh🎉 PS... I subscribed ,! Best wishes ❤
Hey 👋 and welcome!
I have two vendor booths ❤
I have a regular full time job but luckily a Salvation Army is 5 minutes from my work so every day at lunch I go check them out and on weekends I’m always going somewhere to pick.
Pickin is my favorite part 😊
❤❤
❤
I think u should up the price on that amazing frame!
@@amandakizer4718 it was cheap plastic frame but with amazing detail so I couldn’t pass it up. :) thank you ☺️

OMG Thank you!

I watch your channel all the time :)
Thanks for watching
@@ReclaimedGrace oh you’re so sweet thanks. I’ll binge watch your other videos in the next couple of days.
I love paint transfer but I have not seen polycrylic applied before using the transfer. Do you get better results?
I've tried both ways many times and I get better results when I use the poly.
Less wrinkles in the paint inlay too when you mist the paper before applying
Thanks for watching! ❤
They are all beautiful, what state are you in. Must be native born. I'm just not used to a southern accent it's nice.
Small town in NC
Thanks for watching
I've seen the Sweet Pickins milk paint used in another person's video. Does it always crackle like that? Is there a treatment necessary to make it crackle? I've only tried the Tim Holtz Distressed Crackle Paste, which is fine for small projects and just puts a glaze over a surface. I'm still a novice at it.
It will most of the time crackle if you add some heat to it on the last coat. I use my heat gun
I use paint couture 2 steps crackle but it does leave a glossy finish that i ain't crazy about...
Thanks for watching ❤
The crackle on the mirror is so good!!
-Alissa
Yes it's BEAUTIFUL
Thank you!
Hi what brand is the green paint brush that you used in the first project please?
I use Walmart paint brushes most of the time unless I'm painting furniture.
they are in the craft section.
They are cheap synthetic brushes
Triple the price of the frame, have you ever priced a custom frame? Hundreds of dollars alone then add the mirror and yours has a beveled edge $$$
Thank you ❤❤
It was cheap plastic.
The beveled mirror was awesome though
The patina needs to be sprayed on. The drip method is not attractive nor does it look naturally aged.
@@youdontspeakforme4339 my dang sprayer quit. Very frustrating. I agree!! Thanks for watching
Don’t care for this drip look at all.
The bust was horrible ! It looked like it was crying
lol I could see that
Thanks for watching
the bust is really creepy, not a good transformation
There's a tool when thrifting where I snap a pic of a shelf, crop out all items with my thumb (takes about 1 minute), and it identities the names and online prices for each item in just 5 minutes. You can find resellable items on a store shelf way quicker than you ever could manually Googling them one by one, essentially beating all other thrift store hustlers in the store. The tool is worthwiz.com
Google lens?
@@ReclaimedGrace Google Lens doesn't have a bulk search. The closest thing this could be compared to is Google Lens, but much better because it is a bulk searching tool similar to what Google Lens does. Essentially allowing you to find stuff way quicker in the store rather than stupid one by one searches on Google lens. You would be surprised what would happen if you just pay a little bit of money for stuff and stop expecting everything for free
❤❤
Triple the price of the frame, have you ever priced a custom frame? Hundreds of dollars alone then add the mirror and yours has a beveled edge $$$
Thank you!
