Just a mention because this video brought it back to my memory...I was in TOS just this last week, and it was around 10:30pm our time (west coast)...I went back to a stock that I had just looked at (I think it was for WYNN), and it looked way different than it did than when I had just looked at it 5 minutes before...I started looking hard at the chart to figure out what had happened...the chart was showing it was 8:30am, and I was like "no, it's not", so I went to another stock, and that stock showed the real time, around 10:30am...so I went back to WYNN and, sure enough, it was only showing out to be 830am, and would not let me stretch to get to 10:30am...it was acting like it was really 830am...I wasn't in any positions, so I logged out, then logged back in, and the issue went away...I'm just saying this as a learning, when changing charts, get really good at assessing that everything is right...if I would have gone to that 830am chart thinking it was showing me 10:30am, and it looked like a set up for a good trade, I might have jumped in at a really bad time, because the chart I was looking at was two hours old news...

Hey Adam, can you show how you spot trades like the little thing you did when you drew lines in a triangle and said "that was a pretty easy trade to spot if I had paid attention". Anyway thanks for your videos you do a great job👍❤
There is a little box next to the overlapping volume option, clicking it will pin it to the style menu. It will show up and you can revert back to the overlapping volume with just two clicks instead of a few.
Yo brotato, awesome channel. I've been binging the videos and started dipping my toe in the options trading pool. Quick question; I've been able to get real time data for my live TD account, but my Paper Money account still has partially delayed data (Stocks and equities are real time, but options stuff is delayed). Any solutions for this, or should I just call in?
On TOS Trade Tab, for each option chain there is a figure for implied volatility and expected move in the top right corner. For example for GME today, the 19FEB221 chain, the number was 630.5%(+-929.6). I understand what that means but I am not sure HOW the 929.6 move is calculated from 630.5% IV. I will appreciate any comments or thoughts ??? What formula are they using?
How do I drag the chart left so there is blank space to the right of the trend line (as yours is)? its always smashed up against the right border (mac user). Love the vids btw.
@@TheeMattSmith Go to settings (cog on the blue bar towards the top-right), then go to the time-axis tab, then change "expansion area" to 1000. This will give you plenty of room to work with.
