Hey Aaron, Create a new drawing set called 'clean' or something of the sort and apply that set to the tickers you dont want drawings on. Or vice versa! Keep 'default' clean and create a new drawing set called 'levels' and draw on that one. it can then be applied to only the charts you want the levels on. Hope this helps.
Really appreciate your work. Answered a lot of questions I had about TOS. Still trying to find a way to place a line in an indicator(DMI) that will be present on any chart using DMI
Sounds like that might require a customization to the script. You can add something like "plot myLine = value" to the script source so that it carries over to any chart you load it to. This creates a simple horizontal line extending in both the left and right directions forever.
hello good video. I've been looking for a drawing tool like the one you're actually using in the video. Not the one on TOS. Can you please tell me when I can find a tool like that? Meaning the one you are used to draw the pointer arrows etc. thank you in advance .
Thank you for the video. For some reason, my zoom doesn't work. I've followed your description but nothing happens. Is there a setting I need to switch on (or off)? Thanks.
Click and drag zoom? I've never run into that issue. There are no "secret" settings I am aware of that need to be toggled. The best thing I could recommend is a platform restart and if that doesn't help, contact TDA.
Thanks for great video! Is there a way to have multiple trendline and price set ups? Instead of having to manually change color or way it looks each time, is there a way to have for example a blue dotted then also a red dotted trendline separate custom button for each?
This is not possible in think or swim. Would be a cool feature for them to add, but not available currently. Tradingview does offer drawing templates which is the closest thing I can think of. Tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/W-_b0wuRahs/v-deo.html

Can you have multiple defaults for a given drawing tool? For example say I want to use a purple horizontal solid line for a gap end, and a dotted yellow line for a ceiling test. Cam I configure the horizontal drawing tool to have both to avoid having to constantly change between the two styles?
Hi thanks for your video! Question: Do you know how to use Fibonacci in LOG mode into the TOS? (The default fibonacci tool is only in arithmetic and this cannot be changed!). Thanks for your help.
Im not sure you can change the actual calculation of the fibs other than changing the % retrace / extensions you want. You can change your price axis on the chart to LOG and then apply a fib. I would imagine that achieves something similar to the desired outcome.
Nice job Matt. One question, my last experience with TOS does not allow one to sync drawing across multiple timeframe of the same instrument. I have to save them set by set by their instrument&timeframe and always load them back whenever I switched to other instrument and back. Maybe the function exist but I am not aware of them so I thought maybe you would have the answer.
The drawing you make on one set should automatically update across all timeframes on the same instrument. Example: If I draw a level at 400 on SPY daily timeframe in the 'Default' drawing set, it should appear when I go to a 15 minute chart, 1 minute chart, weekly chart, quarterly chart. Im not sure what is happening if that is not the case for you. Perhaps re-installing the program might help? I have yet to run into the issue of drawings not syncing. If you wanted different levels to show up on your daily vs the hourly vs the five minute, that would require a different set for the daily, hourly, five minute. Not sure if this helps, but im not familiar with troubleshooting this particular issue!
You might want to add you can access the drawing menu anywhere on the drawing by pressing down on the scroll wheel of a mouse that has a scroll wheel.
