So pretty. I have a few cookbooks that use flowers. My favorite cake recipe is from a Victorian book which uses roses, I have been using roses from my garden and mixing in tart cherries in the cake. It smells so divine. This icing would just add something special.

I have seen TONS of bees and butterflies like you said and I feel like I'm feeding needy creatures or something when I see them loving my flowers. I can't wait till I can try crystalizing flowers and decorating with them! They're a gorgeous and very elegant form of decorating and they're colorful but not full of food dye! Thank you Jemma for showing me this! :D
I really, really, really love this cake! It's very pretty, & definitely something I want to try. I love the mixing of the dried petals into the buttercream, & then the pasting of more dried leaves & petals around the cake, & the delicate arrangement of the crystalized flowers on the top.
