Fantastic video! Living in Southern California, I have grown all of these at some point in time. Roses, lavender and pineapple sage are always in my yard.

Thank you! You have the perfect climate to grow them throughout the year. Your flowers double as great pollinator plants, too. Pineapple sage is great for hummingbirds, and bees love lavender and roses.

Try the variety 'Golden Delicious'. It has beautiful golden foliage and tasty, brilliant red flowers in fall!

The hummingbirds in my area love them too! I grow several plants to share. Leaves make a nice tea - a bonus! Great to cook with fresh or dried.

How cool about the Japanese scholar tree flowers (Sophora japonica or Styphnolobium japonicum)! This tree's Asian origin also made me think that we should have added lotus! Maybe in another video. Thanks!
