Ah... That's how that one anti-version of myself spawned. I was just willy nilly pickaxe-ing my way through the area Thankfully my own character is not particularly strong combat-wise, so my minions took care of it efficiently
You could always use metamorphic polygel on the nanonfingers if you're going to equip the Agolgot. I think the effects stack (additive)? Pretty sure that would put your stun-locking in the ridiculous zone (but I think your build is already there tbh). Appreciate the vids :D
Yeah, it has an additive effect for more than one pair! We're sticking with just two arms, since there's no reason for us to have any more (other than with shields)
my first run that got past redrock is still going (played so long ago that I am pretty much a new player now). I just spent most of my last session boring through those crystal walls to avoid encounters as I looked for the tree. I am way under leveled, under equipped, and under experienced for this place. I had NO idea they could clone me (they havent yet and I have broken hundreds, easily)
The tinker menu should reliably switch if you have the yellow ">" somewhere in the list on the left, including over a "[+] category". If it's not there it straight up won't work. I tend to move my mouse over the top one to make sure it's there (in case I bump my mouse while moving my hand to the keypad) and then hit the hotkey for it. That isn't to say it's not janky. It absolutely is.
You can get additional chords by cryo-clone hunting but it's a long and drawn-out process not really fit for video. Using two Agolgot chords does some weird stuff with your body-plan. I noticed that unequipping one removes both sets of limbs, but only adds one back when re-equipped. I had to unequip then re-equip both to get them back. Not sure how reproduceable a bug it was, and it was pre-1.0, so no idea how it goes now. It's not really intended, having 2, so I doubt it'd be a high priority to fix if it's broken.
@@Rogue_Rat I wonder how it'd be received if you were to do it at some point, but do a time lapse of it so it's really clear how tedious it is. That way, you get to do it, you get to show off how powerful it is, and you get to showcase just how drawn out and boring (oh, is that a pun?) it is to do.
On my last character I got a gersh nephilim from Trash devining . Didn't manage to get to it as it was north east of the tree of life on a mountain tile. Would I have needed to dig through the mountain and then use a spiral borer?
Banana the Hand-E-Nuke before you use it. Even if it means grabbing Oboroqoru's hammer to get enough Ego to do it. Not only are they super strong (if you're careful, and don't throw them at things with reflective shielding), but they have a base value of 10,000. Basically you can turn a single #8 bit into 9,500 money. That's exactly 20 tacos' worth of money, also weightless. I really wish there were more legendary Gyre Wights in the game. I've basically never seen any. I guess they just don't want you to learn the locations of the Nephilim so easily. You're right, Rermadon's chord is supposed to give +40 to all resists. I don't know why yours doesn't. Interestingly, Agolgot's chord is also, technically, the best sword(s) in the game: the pincers are long blades that do 3d6 damage and have no Strength cap. That's an amazing weapon. Don't forget to eat your psychal gland paste. That's 16 free secrets. I have shot hundreds of moon stair crystals with my phase cannon (from a distance) and never spawned a clone. Maybe the phase cannon doesn't trigger the effect, or you have to be close enough to the crystal that your reflection is in it.
See this is what Im talking about with the procgen: you went from a balanced dungeon with nice challenges to BS rng garbage of portal spam, annoying decarb beams, random salt kraken, and also the evil twin rng from breaking random crystals. They should have really hand-crafted this game. Imagine if the historic sites were as good as Tomb of the Eaters for example.
I get what you're saying, but I love the fact that the historic sites are so random (well you can get an idea by reading the sultan history). Even ToeT is still somewhat random based on the characters and npcs you can find there.
Gotta agree the randomness could defo do with some more tweaking and love from hand crafting eyes. Too much randomness can make it un-fun as much as it makes it more "fun".
All the very best with your Band practice, Rogue Rat!
Thank you 🙏🏼
29:50 it's supposed to also give you +40 to all resists
The effect does work it just does not show on the item description.
Remember the five rules of Girsh Nephelim, Dodge, Duck, Dip, DIve and Dodge.
If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a Nephilim!
I stumbled upon a flame thrower while I stalled before Golgotha. Helped out a bit by removing puddles.
Early flamethrower is cracked!

I like long episodes its fun to watch.

I miss cryo-clone hutning. I don't think this is the character for it, but I'd love to do it should we survive the 7th nephilim (we probably won't)

Good shout on the psychal gland paste, I always forget about that!

i dont understand how u fast travel
There's an item in the game called a Recoiler. It is a one-way teleport to a specific location, but it requires energy cells to use.
