Not sure how it is now as times have certainly changed in London, but in my youth during the 80's and 90's you couldn't walk into a pub, club, party or wedding in London without hearing an ABBA song played at the very least once a night. I hope it hasn't changed too much as it would be a shame for people to lose out on what it feels like to have a good old dance to ABBA.
By the way, you're in good company. Lots of people love ABBA. I think you said your grandma likes them. But did you know that Colin Powell was a huge fan. The king of Sweden once gave Colin Powell a complete ABBA boxed set! Keep on keepin on brother. A title I didn't see in your collection is "Tiger".
As a swede i dont understand why reactors dont listen to abba every day! The best group ever from sweden. And they are extremly famous atleast in europe. No song from abba is a bad song. 😊
JB! You're back with an ABBA video. always love seeing you react to them because I see the smile just grow across your face just as it does mine when I see and hear them again. ABBA have to be the ultimate feel good band.
At work (in Sweden) I'm listening to a local British radio station through internet. They play Abba quite regularly, among the songs this one. 45 years old (released in 1979) but still sounds fresh!
Thank you so much for reacting to an ABBA song. This is one of my favorites. UA-cam prompted your reaction less than an hour after you posted it on my home screen. I'm going to review your abba reactions and suggest some more ABBA songs.
If you haven't already done so, go check out some of ABBA's Australia tour. "Rock Me" ua-cam.com/video/8uzceymou84/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared , "I'm A Marionette / Get On The Carousel" ua-cam.com/video/hqVhG_IUFms/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Hi, I like all your ABBA reactions. But it's super weird for you to say that the last ABBA reaction that you did was in 2020, because about a year ago, you found out that ABBA came back after 40 years and you reacted to ABBA's Don't Shut Me Down
So nice to see you again return with ABBA songs ABBA was really a very talented and versatile swedish group that recording between 1972/1982 (and now comeback in 2021) and leads in 70s decade: two excellent musicians songwriters (guitarist Björn & pianist Benny) two top female singers (blonde Agnetha & brunette Frida) (before ABBA they each had her solo career in Sweden) remember that ABBA is an acronim with initials of your first names, and was two couples from 1969: Agnetha & Björn; Benny & A.Frida Agnetha & Björn split at end 1978 Benny & Frida split at begin of 1981 "Gimme gimme gimme (a man after midnight)" is a song influenced by American disco, after the success of the Bee Gees and the movie 'Saturday night fever" from the year before In this song you can see part of the volume and range of voice that the blonde Agnetha has ABBA was preparing their 1979 Tour of America and Europe, in the previous one , They recorded this song and filmed the video This is the only video in which all ABBA is seen in the recording studio, including staff musicians (bass guitarist and drummer) and sound engineer Michel Tretow at the controls, creator of the well-known 'ABBA sound' with his innovative 'wall of sound' multiplication technique (an adaptation of the works of Phill Spector) The official vídeo is a short versión, the recording of the single is more than 4 1/2 minutes (with a solo instrumental) If you like to see the full version , ABBA did a new official lyric video a year ago The introduction and the instrumental ending, that characteristic sound of Benny's keyboards, is what Madonna used for her well-known hit "Hung Up" (with the permission of the composers Björn and Benny, granting them share the credits) Surely for the latter, with 445 million views, this is the second official ABBA video with the most views on UA-cam (behind "Dancing Queen", which has 830 million views) For a new reaction I suggest: "Fernando"or "Money money money" both from 1976 but diffrrent musical genre both with the brunette singer Frida in leads Thank you again for these video See you in the next ; GOD bless you My best regards from Buenos Aires , Argentina
Nice to see you again, James...😃! With more 🅰️🅱️🅱️🅰️! Great react, men... just like old times😅 Maybe this time you Take care... See you very soon. Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
Was guessing James was too young to recognize the keyboard bit of this song that Madonna sampled for her Hung Up years later. But he very nearly did, with that "80s pop" remark!

Totally agree! ❤ ABBA! Good memories growing up...MORE FROM THEM PLEASE!!!
One of my favorite songs ever. By the best group in the world. Do listen to the album version also, with an instrumental break.
As a swede i dont understand why reactors dont listen to abba every day! The best group ever from sweden. And they are extremly famous atleast in europe. No song from abba is a bad song. 😊
As a Brit I agree. 😁
It's difficult not to agree. Probably the most recognized music in the free world.
From an American - ABBA is the best group ever. Tack so mycket Sveriege.
As a dane I agree 😊
I’m not a Swede, but I 100% agree!
Probably the best pop-band, ever! 😍Cheers from Sweden.

Abba for ever!❤
It's nice seeing the music video, but the full version of the song is better IMO. 😅👍
Billy Joel also has songs that are different from each other.

I can’t remember dates , I have so many videos
More ABBA 🙏
Bring out the roller skates baby!
There is a longer version also with a great bass solo.
Pure class
I was feeling down so the doctor told me to take two ABBA songs every day 🐈⬛🐈🫂♥️
My man James! 💪💪
My favourite ABBA song ❤
So nice to see you again return with ABBA songs
ABBA was really a very talented and versatile swedish group that recording between 1972/1982
(and now comeback in 2021)
and leads in 70s decade:
two excellent musicians songwriters
(guitarist Björn & pianist Benny)
two top female singers
(blonde Agnetha & brunette Frida)
(before ABBA they each had her solo career in Sweden)
remember that ABBA is an acronim with initials of your first names, and was two couples from 1969:
Agnetha & Björn; Benny & A.Frida
Agnetha & Björn split at end 1978
Benny & Frida split at begin of 1981
"Gimme gimme gimme (a man after midnight)"
is a song influenced by American disco, after the success of the Bee Gees and the movie 'Saturday night fever" from the year before
In this song you can see part of the volume and range of voice that the blonde Agnetha has
ABBA was preparing their 1979 Tour of America and Europe, in the previous one , They recorded this song and filmed the video
This is the only video in which all ABBA is seen in the recording studio,
including staff musicians (bass guitarist and drummer) and sound engineer Michel Tretow at the controls, creator of the well-known 'ABBA sound' with his innovative 'wall of sound' multiplication technique (an adaptation of the works of Phill Spector)
The official vídeo is a short versión, the recording of the single is more than 4 1/2 minutes (with a solo instrumental)
If you like to see the full version , ABBA did a new official lyric video a year ago
The introduction and the instrumental ending, that characteristic sound of Benny's keyboards, is what Madonna used for her well-known hit "Hung Up" (with the permission of the composers Björn and Benny, granting them share the credits)
Surely for the latter, with 445 million views, this is the second official ABBA video with the most views on UA-cam (behind "Dancing Queen", which has 830 million views)
For a new reaction I suggest:
"Fernando"or "Money money money"
both from 1976 but diffrrent musical genre
both with the brunette singer Frida in leads
Thank you again for these video
See you in the next ; GOD bless you
My best regards from
Buenos Aires , Argentina
Man! It is good to see a representative of your generation enjoying well crafted music and meticulous performance of that music.
Imagine you could've listened to this song years ago lol. Definitely a top 10 song of theirs. There's a longer version of it as well
Nice to see you again, James...😃!
With more 🅰️🅱️🅱️🅰️!
Great react, men... just like old times😅
Maybe this time you
Take care... See you very soon.
Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
Nice to see u back with ABBA. The last reaction u did with them was just a year ago with Don't Shut Me Down off their comeback Album Voyage.
I love them!
Was guessing James was too young to recognize the keyboard bit of this song that Madonna sampled for her Hung Up years later. But he very nearly did, with that "80s pop" remark!
