@@AubreyRunning you kidding me? This kind of video is what sets you apart and what I wanted to see too.. purely just enjoying the race! And the way you move it to the drum.. stay safe always bro..COME ON!! LET'S GO!
Thank you very much. Yeah this one hit me hard because I of the distance, the scale of the event but also just where I am in my journey. Thank you the support!
Such positive feels man. So true what you say, I'm a late 40 something runner, come back after a long break and if I had one piece of advice for younger me it would be 'enjoy it more, you're quicker than you think!'
Well said! I’m embracing this kind of mindset. I feel like the thief of all our joy is comparison! Trying to be like person B when you are perfectly person A.
Aubrey thanks for sharing ! Man i was supose to run a maratbon on october 6th but ending up having a calf strain so now can't run ... you positivity and good vibe help me to keep the vibe up !!! Go go go bro !!!
You got this! I sincerely pray you get better soon. To be honest with you running is secondary for me after good health. Look after yourself and you’ll be back in no time
I love how you worked up the crowd like that! That was fun! Also, I realized, not being from UK, I know (on youtube) many of the people in this video...your community is amazing out there!
Great video buddy! I’ve never run the Big Half but it looks like lots of the course is bits of the London Marathon in reverse. Congratulations on the longest run, you’re making it look easy ❤
Yeah, a lot of people said it is but I’m unfamiliar of the London marathon course itself. Maybe this is a sign that I should get to know it a little more 😂😂😂😂
Congrats my man!!! Thank you for bringing all that energy to the race, but also for real kudos to you for giving all that loudness on the course! That’s all the energy and showing off of your fitness that comes out of training right there!!!
Funny enough the shouting fires me up and reenergises me (even though it takes energy 😂😂😂) I just enjoy being out there and enjoying this experience. Truly loving the journey and the community which is forming around it.
So stoked for you! I remember finishing my first, decades ago now, but It’s still fresh in my memory. Running should be fun, and for most of us, race day is like a celebration of all the hard work we’ve invested.
@AubreyRunning Yeah, doing the half mate, not thought too much about a goal as I've never run that particular course. If I feel good on the day then I might try for PB, otherwise it will just be a normal day out with the missus 😂
It’s really astonishing for me as a filipino that other countries can start races at around 7 to 8am by that time everyone who raced here are already done or for some are already home. We start our full marathon races here at 2am sometimes 12am. Half marathons starts at 4am.
@@AubreyRunning oh it’s not the heat but the humidity what’s going to get you. Your summer is our winter here already. Haha 😆 That’s why we start our fun runs on that time or else we in trouble.
Congrats bud..amazing so proud let's go!!! hey came across the dji neo I know you have used or use hover drone this is a absolute great drone you should look into..no remote needed..heads up one love brotha God bless
Well put! I have switched m mindset to exactly this! That the marathon is what you do about it. The training, the mindset and execution on the day. There is hoping or expecting, just simply earning it.
I’m not the fastest runner out there but I’m definitely going to be that runner that enjoys the run the most! As for the shoe… yes I did but highly recommend people going half or full size up
@@AubreyRunning the enjoyment always comes through in your videos! It makes me want to book myself into a race :) Thank you for the heads up! May be picking up a pair so useful to know.
Wondering if i should use the more v5 for a half or should i get the elites? Worried about the elites not being as easy to run in but never tried them. Aubrey what you think
Would need more information about you as a runner - I'd recommend trying them on in store if possible and do a little test in both as it'll come down to your preferences. In saying that, the SC Elites are one of the more forgiving super shoes with it's really comfortable foam and for it's stability compared to other super shoes, plus the ride is less aggressive
@@emceenz thanks - I’m a big guy over 200lbs and so far my longest run was 11 miles last week in more V5s. Felt great. Every other pair of shoes I have don’t make it as easy to cruise, so I don’t know if the elites are as easy and also lighter. Hard to know I guess without a test run
@@AubreyRunning thanks man and congrats again on your longest run. I’m working towards the same goals but can’t make videos to save my life. Love the vids and agree I’d go half size up in elites because the rebels I tried on in my size were def too small (I didn’t buy them or try running in them though).
Great video editing as always Aubrey! Fan of the channel but why didn’t you give it an honest effort and go for decent time? Seems like a slight waste of a place to be jogging and shouting 😂 (made me chuckle though). Respect your decision regardless 👍
I have my first ever marathon coming up and I have put in so much work to get ready. This block has no speed work in it intentionally to avoid injury so I wouldn’t risk it at all. It’s not worth it at this point. These distances are completely new territory for me
Just started watching your content love your positive vibes! Good luck with marathon training 💪
